Abstract

Tourism development in rural area implemented to eradicate poverty and the gap between rural and urban areas. The purpose of this study is to identify tourism development program that carried out in the rulal area from perspective of destination development, marketing and institutional development. Program destination development still dominated by the construction of infrastructure, in which lack attention to the construction of the attractions, the development of marketing is still stuck at an annual routine which has not based on modern marketing model, program of institutional development has been growing a tourism area in society however it is still not effective because of limited quality and quantity in human resources, accessibility, lack of facilities and infrastructure and also budget. The development model recommended is a community-based tourism development which pay more attention to community participation, environmental sustainability and social culture.

Abstract

Desa Binangun sebuah desa di kabupaten Banyumas memiliki berbagai potensi lokal. Pemerintah desa dan masyarakat berinisiataif untuk melakukan improvisasi pembangunan berbasis potensi lokal yang dinamai program one gerumbul one product (OGOP). Program ini menjadi program unggulan desa yang diharpkan akan membawa kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat. Namun pada kenyataanya program OGOP tidak berjalan sesuai harapan. Tujuan penelitian berbasis pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab masalah dan merumusakan solusinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan validasi triangulasi. Hasil identifikasi permasalahan menunjukkan terdapat empat masalah, yang kemudian disusun empat solusi untuk mengatasinya. Hasil analisa dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa penyelesaian masalah tidak bisa dilakukan secara parsial, membutuhkan penyelesaian terintegrasi.

Abstract

Understanding fractions remains one of the major challenges in elementary mathematics education due to their abstract nature and the tendency of instruction to focus on procedural knowledge rather than conceptual understanding. Therefore, a learning approach that connects mathematical concepts with students' real-life experiences is needed. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in fraction learning within the context of Ramadan and to examine how students construct their understanding of fractions through contextual learning activities. This study employed a qualitative method using a design research approach involving fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 05 Perawang. Learning activities were designed using Ramadan-related contexts, such as the distribution of zakat fitrah and iftar meals, as starting points for the mathematization process. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, documentation, and analysis of students’ work. The findings revealed that the Ramadan context helped students connect real-life experiences with fraction concepts, enabling them to represent, compare, and solve fraction-related problems more meaningfully. In addition, students demonstrated active engagement in discussions, problem-solving activities, and concept construction throughout the learning process. These findings suggest that the Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on the Ramadan context has the potential to serve as a contextual and meaningful learning alternative for supporting elementary students’ understanding of fractions.

Abstract

Quality management in Islamic education has become an important issue in the administration of madrasahs in the digital era. Madrasahs are not only required to maintain their Islamic identity but also to improve the quality of educational services, teacher professionalism, governance effectiveness, and institutional competitiveness. This article aims to analyze quality management strategies in Islamic education to enhance the competitiveness of madrasahs in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were obtained from books, journal articles, and scientific documents relevant to Islamic education management, quality management, educational leadership, and digital transformation in education. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that quality management strategies in Islamic education can be implemented through strengthening Islamic vision-based planning, improving human resource competence, digitizing management services, strengthening quality culture, and conducting continuous evaluation. Systematic quality management can help madrasahs improve learning quality, public trust, and institutional competitiveness without neglecting the fundamental values of Islamic education.
