Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for developing E-modules Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) with Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) context on environmental change material to empower students' scientific argumentation skills. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were biology teachers and 60 students of SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta. The results of the needs analysis showed that teachers and students need technology-integrated teaching materials in the form of ADI E-modules with SSI context on environmental change material. The development of ADI E-modules with SSI context is expected to be an alternative learning solution that is innovative and effective in improving the quality of biology learning which has implications for empowering students' scientific argumentation skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the procedures and considerations of medical and medicolegal aspects regarding the installation and removal of the use of ventilators in life support for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a normative juridical legal research method. The results showed that the ethical aspects regarding the installation and removal of the use of ventilators in the effort to support patients’ life during the COVID-19 pandemic were based on an agreement that was born by agreement (therapeutic agreement). The decision to stop or postpone life support therapy for medical treatment for patients is made by a team of doctors who treats patients after consulting a team of doctors appointed by the Medical Committee or the Ethics Committee based on Permenkes Number 37 of 2014. Meanwhile, the legal basis of procedures is in the process of making the installation decision and releasing the use of ventilators in critical patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, referring to the provisions of Permenkes No. 37/2014, Permenkes No. 290 of 2008, and Permenkes RI No. 290 of 2008 concerning the rejection of medical action, which patients and or their closest relatives can do. The legal basis refers to the medicolegal aspect in critical patients when installing and removing a ventilator. It is used as an indicator for determining whether to withdraw life support or withhold life support. Besides being adjusted to the validity of an agreement according to the Civil Code as stipulated in Article 1320, a doctor can initiate to understand a patient in the preparation and legal consequences of this agreement

Abstract

This study analyzed juridical analysis of patients’ rights to disease information and medical action by doctors in hospitals. The method used is a legal research method that aims to find solutions to legal issues and problems that arise from them. The results of the study show that the legal implications of regulating the right to information on diseases and medical actions given to patients by doctors in hospitals have an impact on the patient’s right to receive disease information openly and transparently from doctors related to diseases experienced by patients and patients have the right to be served maximally in obtaining medical treatment (Health services) by doctors at the hospital so that patients have the right to file claims if these rights are not fulfilled. Then, the presence of new health law, namely Law Number 36 of 2009, gives patients the right to refuse actions taken against themselves and to end treatment and care for their own responsibilities after obtaining clear information about their disease. In conclusion, the emergence of the Prita Mulyasari case was based on the non-fulfilment of the patient’s right to medical information. It was due to the absence of adequate and accurate communication between the doctor and the patient. Conflicts can be avoided if all parties, in this case, the doctor, patient and hospital, negotiate through deliberation and consensus by considering their respective rights and obligations.

Abstract

Atrial fibrillation is the most common type of arrhythmia. The process of detecting AF disease is quite difficult. This is because it is necessary to detect the presence or absence of a P signal wave in the ECG signal. However, this method requires special expertise from a cardiologist. Several literatures have proposed an automatic ECG classification system. However, the intra-patient paradigm does not simulate real-world scenarios. One of the challenges in the inter-patient paradigm is the morphological differences between one subject and another. In order to overcome the problems that arise in the automatic classification of ECG signal patterns a deep learning approach was proposed. This study proposes the classification process of atrial fibrillation in the inter-patient paradigm using a one-dimensional convolutional neural network architecture. The test is divided into two cases: two labels (Normal and AF) and three labels (Normal, AF and Non-AF). In the case of two test labels with an inter-patient scheme, the performance was 100% for all test metrics (accuracy, sensitivity, precision, and F1-Score). However, in the three-label case, the model's performance decreased to 85.95, 70.02, 72.50, 71.19 for accuracy, sensitivity, precision and F1-Score, respectively.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertema “Pendampingan Cara Mencapai Efisiensi Berbasis Manjemen Operasi Dan Manajemen Pemasaran Pada UMKM Anti Galau Kabupaten Boyolali”. Permasalahan yang dihadapi pemilik sekaligus pengelola UMKM Anti Galau terutama dalam mengelola persediaan dan masalah dalam memasarkan hasil produksinya. Untuk ini kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan membantu pemilik sekaligus pengelola UMKM Anti Galau Kabupaten Boyolali terutama dalam mengelola persediaan untuk mencapai efisiensi biaya persediaan dan untuk meningkatkan penjualan dengan penjualan online. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu Participatory Action Research (PAR) adalah metode yang melibatkan mitra dalam proses kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 25 Mei 2024 jam 10.00 sd jam 15.00 dan tanggal 26 Mei 2024 jam 10.00 sd 15.00 bertempat di UMKM Anti Galau Kecamatan Simo, Kabupaten Boyolali Hasil dari kegiatan adalah 1. Biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan UMKM Anti galau belum efisien. Untuk mencapai efisiensi biaya persediaan, UMKM Anti galau dapat menggunakan metode pengendalian persediaan Material Requirement Planning (MRP), terutama metode EOQ yang menghasilkan tingkat efisiensi biaya paling besar yaitu 74,62%. 2. Setelah diadakan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya penjualan online, tingkat pemahaman mitra meningkat dari yang ditargetkan skala indek 3 menjadi skala indek luaran 4,5.

Abstract

In this paper we purpose a several steps to implement security for locking door by using hand gestures as password. The methods considered as preprocessing image, skin detection and Convexity Defection. The main components of the system are Camera, Personal Computer (PC), Microcontroller and Motor (Lock). Bluetooth communication are applied to communicate between PC and microcontroller to open and lock door used commands character such as “O” and “C”. The results of this system show that the hand gestures can be measured, identified and quantified consistently.

Abstract

The increasing number of medical malpractice cases in Indonesia has raised public concern regarding legal protection in healthcare services. The ambiguity in distinguishing between acceptable medical errors and criminally liable actions remains a critical issue in the criminal law system for healthcare. This article aims to analyze the application of criminal law in medical malpractice cases in Indonesia and explore the obstacles and regulatory improvements needed. This study employs a normative juridical approach with descriptive-qualitative methods, based on an examination of legislation, court decisions, and academic literature. The findings reveal that current regulations fail to provide comprehensive legal certainty, particularly in proving elements of negligence, appointing objective medical experts, and protecting medical professionals from criminalization. The discussion highlights the need for more structured technical guidelines and revisions to laws governing medical practice. The conclusion of this research asserts that the criminal law system in healthcare must be strengthened through regulatory reform, legal education for medical personnel and the public, and improved coordination between professional bodies and law enforcement authorities to achieve balanced justice

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelatihan, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas karyawan UMKM bandeng presto adik lastri di Sukoharjo. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 orang dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R2). Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan di UMKM bandeng presto adik lastri, beban kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan di UMKM bandeng presto adik lastri, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan di UMKM bandeng presto adik lastri. Hasil uji F hitung 18,206 dengan nilai signifikasi (p-value) sebesar 0,000<0,05. Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya model tepat dalam memprediksi pengaruh variabel bebas yaitu pelatihan kerja(X1), beban kerja(X2), dan lingkungan kerja(X3) terhadap variabel terikat produktivitas karyawan(Y) di UMKM bandeng presto adik lastri. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa koefisien determinasi (adjusted R2) untuk model ini adalah sebesar 0,513 atau 51,3% nilai ini > 0,50 menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh variabel terhadap variabel dependen kuat(cukup baik). Artinya besarnya sumbangan variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebesar 51,3%. sisanya (100%-51,3%) = 48,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel diluar model penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan karyawan di UMKM bandeng presto adik lastri dapat mempelajari dan menerapkan pelatihan yang sudah diberikan, mampu memenuhi target yang diberikan oleh atasan, dan lebih memperhatikan kondisi lingkungan dan juga kebersihan di tempat kerja, sehingga karyawan memiliki dorongan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil kerja yang maksimal dan jarang melakukan kesalahan yang berdampak pada produktivitas kerja karyawan.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting Indonesia’s economy. One of the MSMEs facing employee productivity problems is Batik Lestari Plupuh, Sragen. This study aims to analyze the influence of work skills and work motivation on employee productivity. This research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population consisted of all 40 employees of Batik Lestari, who were entirely taken as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The t-test results showed that work skills (X1) significantly affect employee productivity (Y), and work motivation (X2) also has a significant effect on employee productivity. The F-test resulted in an F-value of 28.496 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the model is feasible. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) was 0.585 or 58.5%, meaning that work skills and motivation contributed 58.5% to employee productivity, while the remaining 41.5% was influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significance of the influence of work skills, work discipline, and work motivation on the work productivity of Gethuk Take Tawangmangu employees. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data. The data source used is primary data. The population of this study is Gethuk Take Tawangmangu employees. Data collection was carried out using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 35 respondents. The data analysis method in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS as a tool for data processing. The results of the study indicate that work skills and work discipline have a significant effect on the work productivity of Gethuk Take Tawangmangu employees while work motivation does not have a significant effect on the work productivity of Gethuk Take Tawangmangu employees. The R2 value of 72.8% means that the work productivity of Gethuk Take Tawangmangu employees can be explained by the variables of work skills, work discipline and work motivation while the remaining 27.2% means that the work productivity of Gethuk Take Tawangmangu employees is explained by other variables such as work environment, compensation, workload and so on which are not examined in this study.
