Abstract

This study examines the historical terminology of mamaca (macapat) in the Modung Bangkalan West Serabi Village. "The focus of the study is" How is the existence of the Macapat songs in the cultural, the mystical and religious dimensions of the Modung Bangkalan West Serabi Village community? " The West Serabi Village community, the mystical and religious dimensions of Modung Bangkalan. The results of the study concluded and explained that the elements of the West's Song (macapat) in the Modung Bangkalan consist of: (1) personal beliefs about the old teachings as a truth, (2) the public's heritage in always upholding ancestral heritage, (3) the teachings of goodness in the world that are relevant to the culture of society, (4) customs that tend to be mystically influenced by old cultures that are still used from generation to generation, ( 5) The value and guidance of many and individual citizens.

Abstract

In many social science studies, Madurese people are not only known for having traditionalist religious culture, they are also known for their heterogeneous religious typologies. This study specifically examines the constellation of religious thought between the two contemporary Islamism movements in Madura, namely the Madura Ulama Alliance (AUMA) and Gesper. Both AUMA and Gesper both were born from pesantren circles, and were driven directly by the religious elite of pesantran, Kiai and lora (read: Gus in Java) pesantren. Based on the composition of its management, Gesper consists of elite boarding schools, both Kiai and lora, the majority of which are active in managing large organizations, Nahdhatul Ulama (NU). On the other hand, AUMA is mostly inhabited by Nahdhatul Ulama (NU) non-structural elites, but culturally has emotional ties with NU traditions. Therefore, although both were born and developed from a pesantren environment, in some cases AUMA and Gesper have differences, especially in terms of thinking. The condition is at the same time an explanation of why AUMA and Gesper are often involved in the struggle of religious thought in the dynamics and diversity discourse in Madura. One of them is the debate about the correct use of the term Nusantara Islam, and the latest is the dispute about whether or not to elect and appoint leaders from non-Muslims.

Abstract

This study focuses on discussing the debate around the ideal format of the general election system in Indonesia, between open, closed, and mixed proportional systems. There are three research questions raised in this study, how is the application of a proportional system in the dynamics of elections in Indonesia? What are the weaknesses and strengths of implementing a proportional electoral system in Indonesia, both with open and closed systems? Is it possible for two electoral proportional systems (open and closed) to be mated into a new system, a mixed proportional system, for example? This research was conducted based on a qualitative approach. The sources and types of data used are secondary data, especially those from library materials such as books, journals, previous research results, and information media, both print and online. After analyzing field data based on the perspective of political sociology theory, this study found the finding that since it was first held in 1955, elections in Indonesia have used a proportional system to date, starting from a closed system and then moving on to an open system. At the practical level, both of these approaches have weaknesses. Closed proportionality tends to weaken people's participation, while open proportionality makes political parties not optimally carry out their party functions. In order to bridge this problem, a new approach is needed, one of which is to implement a mixed member proportional (MMP) system. In general, the idea of a mixed proportional system has advantages in terms of strengthening the function of political parties and the participation of the people to directly elect their representatives.

Abstract

Organizational culture is very crucial in its existence within the organization, because it affects the emergence of good behavior and improves performance, both from leaders and members and determines the direction of the organization in the long and short term. An established organizational culture will create an atmosphere of cooperation, cooperation, and not pranking others. This study uses a qualitative approach. That is, this study seeks to analyze, record, describe, and interpret the object under study through observation, interviews, and reviewing documentation. This research is also descriptive of the data extracted through the field and literature. The findings show that building an organizational culture at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic boarding school (girls) refers to traditional and modern approaches, which in turn emerges a culture of good behavior and a culture of commitment to the organization such as discipline, sincerity, trustworthiness, openness, and democracy.

Abstract

Corruption is one of the crucial problems in Indonesia which until now has not been able to be handled. Corruption occurs in almost all lines and structures of government, from the executive, and legislature to the judiciary, from government at the central level to the regional level. This research has the specific objective of examining the regulation of social sanctions in eradicating corruption in Indonesia from a sociological perspective. Methodologically, this research is library research conducted using a qualitative approach. After analyzing field data using the perspectives of legal sociology and corruption sociology, this study found that the idea of eradicating corruption through setting social sanctions from a sociological perspective means exile or castration. Social sanctions in this context contain the meaning of maximizing the social structure and institutions of society in an effort to exercise direct control as much as possible, both in the process of prevention and prosecution. These social institutions include educational institutions, political institutions, family institutions, religious institutions, and of course legal institutions.

Abstract

Pola asuh orang tua merupakan cara dan bagaimana sikap orang tua dalam mengayomi anak-anaknya pada proses pendidikan, bimbingan dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk kepekaan sosial anak di era yang serba-serbi digital seperti saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus deskriptif. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian setelah melakukan analisa data melalui teknik penelitian (observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi); Pertama, pola asuh para orang tua di Dusun Pesisir Barat Dharma Camplong adalah para orang tua menerapkan bentuk asuh demokratis dan di Dusun Bajur Tamberu Daya ialah sebagian orang tua menggunakan pola asuh demokratis dan sebagian kecilnya menerapkan pola asuh otoriter. Kedua, dampak penggunaan media digital begitu berpengaruh terhadap proses pendidikan, pengasuhan, bimbingan serta pengawasan orang tua terhadap anak-anak, baik dari sisi orang tua yang menggunakan perangkat ataupun dari kalangan anak-anaknya. Ketiga, terdapat beberapa faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses pengasuhan orang tua, terutama lingkungan keluarga, merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam proses tumbuh kembang peserta asuh (anak).

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is a country that has racial, cultural, religious and ethnic diversity. This diversity can also cause conflicts if not managed properly. To prevent the occurrence of these conflicts, multicultural education is needed. Multicultural education is not explicitly mentioned in the National Education System Law, but the Law in the National Education System leads to multicultural education. The research method used is library research by analyzing articles on the implementation of multicultural education in practice which are presented in detail in the table. Implementation has three important aspects, namely, planning in the form of curriculum, implementation in the form of learning methods and evaluation in the form of application or impact of the implementation of the curriculum and teaching methods. In the implementation of multicultural education, there are also challenges and opportunities. The challenges are, the ambiguity of tolerance limits, the tendency of restrictions on homogeneous or similar groups and the lack of understanding of the younger generation in using social media. Keywords: education, multicultural, implementation Abstrak: Indonesia merupkan negara yang memiliki keragaman ras, budaya, agama dan etnis. Keberagaman tersebut juga dapat menyebabkan konflik jika tidak di kelola dengan baik. untuk mencegak terjadinya konflik tersebut dibutuhkan pendidikan multikultural. Pendidikan multikultural tidak disebutkan dengan jelas dalam Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, tetapi Undang-Undang dalam Sistem Pendidikan Nasional mengarah pada pendidikan multikultural. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah library reseach dengan cara menganalisis artikel-artikel tentang implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam praktik yang disajikan secara rinci dalam tabel. Pengimplementasian mempunyai tiga aspek penting yaitu, perencanaan yang berupa kurikulum, pelaksanaan yang berupa metode pembelajaran dan evaluasi yang berupa iplikasi atau dampak dari terlaksananya kurikulum dan metode pembeljaran. Dalam pengimplementasian pendidikan multikultural juga mempunyai tantangan dan peluang. Tantangannya yaitu, ambigunya batasan toleransi, kecenderungan pembatasan pada kelompok homogen atau sejenis dan ketidak pahaman generasi muda dalam menggunakan media sosial.sedangkan peluangnya adalah pengembangan kesadaran antar budaya, dapat menciptakan pelajaran yang inklusif, meningkatkan empati dan kecakapan sosial, pemberdayaan individu. Kata kunci : pendidikan, multikultural, implementasi.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of religious fundamentalism and its challenges of religious moderation in the midst the implementation of the new normal rules due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There are three focus research problems discussed in this study, namely; fundamentalism, moderation, and the new normal era. By using qualitative research and analysis based on the sociological theory of religion, this study finds a number of findings; first, one of the crucial issues in the midst of the implementation of the new normal Covid-19 policy is to promote the practice of fundamentalism in the name of religion. In many places, the problem of religious fundamentalism in the new normal era occurs in the form of crowd activities and religious crowds which do not follow the health protocol rules; second, the great danger of fundamentalism in the implementation of the new normal, it is not only because of their socio-religious activities which often violate health protocols, but also because their religious paradigm is identical to violence and anarchism, so that it often triggers socio-religious upheaval in society; third, the emergence of the phenomenon of religious fundamentalism in the new normal era today creates its own challenges for the future of moderation of religion throughout the world. The challenge lies in their religious paradigm, which often features fanatical, textual and exclusive attitudes, behaviors and ways of thinking. This attitude clearly contradicts moderation, which has always focused on universality values such as justice (al-adâlah), middle (al-tawassut), balance (al-tawâzun), and tolerance (al-tasâmuh). Studi ini mengkaji fenomena fundamentalisme agama dan problemnya terhadap moderasi beragama di tengah diterapkannya aturan new normal akibat pandemi Covid-19. Terdapat tiga fokus permasalahan penelitian yang dibahas dalam kajian ini, yaitu; fundamentalisme, moderatisme, dan era new normal. Dengan mempergunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan analisa berdasarkan teori sosiologi agama, studi ini mendapati sejumlah temuan; pertama, salah satu persoalan krusial di tengah pemberlakuan kebijakan new normal Covid-19 adalah mengemukanya praktik fundamentalisme atas nama agama. Di banyak tempat, problem fundamentalisme agama di era new normal terjadi dalam bentuk aktivitas keramaian dan kerumunan keagamaan yang dalam pelaksananya tidak mengikuti aturan protokol kesehatan; kedua, bahaya besar praktik fundamentalisme di tengah penerapan new normal, itu bukan saja karena aktivitas sosial keagamaan mereka yang seringkali melangar protokol kesehatan, namun juga karena paradigma keagamaan mereka yang identik dengan kekerasan dan anarkisme, sehingga tak jarang memicu gejolak sosial keagamaan di tengah masyarakat; ketiga, munculnya fenomena fundamentalisme agama di era new normal saat ini melahirkan tantangan tersendiri bagi masa depan moderasi agama di seluruh dunia. Tantangan tersebut ada pada paradigma keagamaan mereka yang seringkali menonjolkan sikap, perilaku, dan cara berpikir yang fanatik, tekstual, dan eksklusif. Sikap ini jelas jauh bersebrangan dengan moderatisme yang selama ini senantiasa menitikberatkan pada nilai keadilan universalitas seperti (al- adâlah), tengah-tengah (al-tawassut),  keseimbangan (al-tawâzun), dan toleran (al-tasâmuh).

Abstract

Pesantren is the most important part of some education in Indonesia, it is the oldest institution of Islamic education in Indonesia and is also part of indegenous culture. Pondok Pesantren has a religious purpose, according to founder kiai, the habit of establishing pesantren is influenced by personal experience of kiai during studying in pesantren.Tulisan try to analyze about management aspect in leadership of a kiai in pesantren and its contribution to quality of pesantren education, kiai has been able to strengthen existence pesantren institutions are mostly successful in producing santri who are mah-mahmah and qualified in religious matters, but are less able to respond and accommodate to the needs of the times.

Abstract

The results of this study reveal the meaning of the role of Ansor Anti-Narcotics Agency (BANAAR) behind the phenomenon of drug trafficking in the middle of many pesantren, especially in East Java Pamekasan Regency, where this area is in the midst of society which can be considered advanced in terms of education. From year to year, the drug density is increasingly showing its intensity. Based on data from the Pamekasan District Narcotics Board (BNK) showing that in the period of almost 2016, it increased to 15.69 percent if we compare the same case during 2015. There are at least four (4) points of significance from the results of this study which among others: 1) this study describes prevention pattern BANAAR cooperate with pesantren to drug distribution in Pamekasan Regency. 2) to find strategies and approaches undertaken by BANAAR in collaboration with BNK and the police who are persuasive refresif so that the circulation of narcotics can be minimized. 3) the role of BANAAR in guarding the flow of technological development, because technology is part of an important factor in pengidaran so that the level of drug problems in Indonesia is also increasing. 4) recommendations to BANAAR, as it has to prepare more mature and more seriously on the planning of targeted, effective, efficient and professional programs in the prevention of drug trafficking.
