Abstract

Distress is one of the daily psychological complaints of modern society that cannot be avoided. Distress can attack students who are in the learning process, especially first-year students. The level of distress in first-year students is relatively high due to adjustment to the new environment, lack of adaptability and many demands that must be done such as completing assignments. High distress can be reduced by giving aromatherapy. One of them is aromatherapy produced by Siamese oranges. Siamese oranges have many benefits, one of which is obtained from their skin which can emit aromatherapy that can provide a sense of calm and relieve anxiety. The aim was to determine the effect of siamese oranges on distress, pulse, blood pressure in Level 1 Nursing Students of Health Polytechnic of Pangkal Pinang. The research design used was a quasi-experimental one group pretest and posttest. The sample was 74 people with a total sampling technique. The variables were Distress with the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale, Pulse and BP. This study showed that before the intervention the average distress was 3.5, pulse 81.43 times/minute, SBP 109 mmHg, DBP 75.47 mmHg and after the intervention the average distress was 2.16, pulse 83.07, SBP 106.49 mmHg, and DBP 73.38 mmHg and there was an effect of tangerine on distress (0.000), pulse (0,043), and BP (0,000) in Level 1 students of the Ministry of Health Polytechnic of Pangkal Pinang. Tangerine produces aromatherapy that can affect the reduction of distress, pulse and blood pressure.

Abstract

Accountability in village fund management remains a major governance issue in Indonesia, particularly concerning inconsistent reporting practices and limited community involvement. This study aims to examine the implementation of accountability principles in village fund management based on the mandates of Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through document reviews, field observations, and interviews with key stakeholders involved in village financial administration. The findings reveal that the principles of accountability have been practiced through participatory meetings, transparent financial reporting, and visual documentation as evidence of public responsibility. Nevertheless, village funds remain largely allocated to physical infrastructure, with community participation still limited in terms of substantive oversight. The study concludes that strengthening the capacity of village officials, optimizing digital-based financial reporting systems, and encouraging more active citizen participation are crucial strategies to promote transparency, accountability, and sustainability in village fund governance.

Abstract

A risk assessment of gamma radiation and radon gas exposure is carried out in the uranium exploration tunnel area to protect workers from the ionizing radiation hazards in the workplace. Measurement of gamma-ray exposure and radon gas concentrations were carried out in Remaja uranium exploration tunnel and around the workers camp in Kalan Area, West Kalimantan. Gamma exposure was measured using a gamma survey meter while radon (222Rn/220Rn) using RADUET passive detector. The concentrations of radon and thoron gas inside the tunnel generally are high, ranging from 188.84 to 495.86 Bq/m3 (375.80 Bq/m3 average) and 58.07 to 340.73 Bq/m3 (189.80 Bq/m3 average) respectively. These values are above the radon reference level (300 Bq/m3)which is recommended by the International Commission on Radiation Protection (ICRP). The annual gamma effective dose reaches 147.88mSv inside the tunnel. This value is exceeding the 20 mSv dose limit value for workers. It is necessary to control the exposure by fulfilled the principle of “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA) and external radiation protection to secure workers inside the tunnel from a health issue caused by gamma-ray, radon, and thoron exposures.

Abstract

In the world of education, teachers have a very large and important role in teaching and learning activities because teachers are educators who are directly related to students, so teachers are required to have good performance in order to teach students who have good quality as well. One of the educational problems faced by the Indonesian people is the low quality of education at every level and unit of education, especially primary and secondary education. Various efforts have been made to improve the quality of education, among others through various training and improvement of teacher qualifications, procurement of books and learning tools, improvement of facilities and infrastructure, and improvement of the quality of school management. However, various indicators for improving the quality of education have not shown an even increase. Based on preliminary research, it is known that the performance of SDN teachers in West Jakarta City has a teacher performance problem, namely that teacher performance has not been achieved in accordance with the target, therefore research is needed to obtain information on variables related to teacher performance. This study aims to find efforts to overcome teacher performance problems by knowing the strength of the variables that are thought to affect teacher performance. In this case, it is the organizational culture, transformational leadership and personality and together with the related variables, namely teacher performance. The research population consisted of all teachers from elementary schools in Jakarta Barat City. The sampling technique used Multistage Proportional Random Sampling, and the Slovin formula was used to determine the number of samples in order to obtain 589 samples. The results of the study found that all variables had a significant positive relationship with teacher performance towards the organization, in order based on the strength of the relationship as follows: organizational culture (ry1 = 0.996, ρ <0.05), transformational leadership (ry2 = 0.976, ρ <0, 05), and personality (ry3 = 0.993, ρ <0.05).The results of the SITOREM analysis show that the components of teacher performance that have priority improvements that need to be improved are: (1) Stable, Implementation of the concept of teacher performance related to quality in the implementation of learning, (2) Quantity, Implementation of Teacher Performance Concepts specifically related to Quantity in the implementation of learning, (3 ) Innovation, Implementation of Teacher Performance Concepts specifically related to Quality in implementation in learning, (4) Agreeableness, Implementation of Teacher Performance Concepts specifically related to Quality in implementation in learning. The suggestions that can be submitted for principals and teachers are to maintain indicators that have a fairly good score.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational justice on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable in PT Sokonindo Automobile. The research method uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. The research sample amounted to 179 respondents which were determined through simple random sampling techniques. The results of the study show that organizational justice has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and has a strong influence on increasing organizational commitment. In addition, organizational commitment has been proven to make a significant contribution in driving performance improvement. Mediation analysis shows that organizational commitment mediates positively and significantly the relationship between organizational justice and employee performance. The values of R² and Q² confirm that the model has good predictive power and adequate predictive relevance. These findings underscore that justice in distribution, procedures, and interactions is an important foundation in building employee psychological attachment that ultimately improves work performance. This research provides implications for the development of equity-based HR policies and offers a theoretical perspective on the psychological mechanisms that link justice and performance through organizational commitment
