Abstract

Mathematics is an exact science, mathematics is studied from elementary school to college level. One of the objectives of learning mathematics in the 2013 Ministry of Education and Culture is that students are able to have mathematical communication skills. Because with mathematical communication skills, students can convey their ideas both orally and in writing, so that in the learning process a good understanding can be formed. The purpose of this study is to determine whether using the station rotation type blended learning model can improve students' mathematical communication skills. This study uses a quantitative approach, while the design used in this study is a one group pretest-posttest control design. The sample in this study used purposive sampling technique. Thus, the research sample in this study is class Vc, because class Vc has less ability in mathematics than classes Va and Vb, based on observations from the three homeroom teachers. The data in the study were taken by giving pretest and posttest questions about mathematical communication skills about the material of building space. Furthermore, to determine the increase in mathematical communication skills in this study was carried out using the paired t test formula. The results show that the t-count is 17.02, while the t-table with a significant level of 5% or 0.05 is 2.04, so Ha is accepted and it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' mathematical communication skills who are taught using the learning model. Abstract

Keberhasilan empat belas selebriti tanah air menjadi anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (DPR RI) periode 2019-2024 menyedot perhatian media. Beberapa media berita online sengaja mengemas peristiwa ini dalam bentuk berita politainment yaitu berita yang mencampurkan antara isu politik dan industri hiburan (entertaiment). Dari keempat belas selebriti di parlemen pu- sat, Mulan Jameela adalah sosok yang paling banyak diberitakan oleh media terkait status barunya sebagai anggota DPR RI periode 2019-2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menelu- suri, dan mendeskripsikan konstruksi wacana Detik.com dan Kompas.com dalam berita politain- ment Mulan Jameela sebagai selebriti parlemen pusat periode 2019-2024. Metode Analisis Wacana Kritis Model Norman Fairclough yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Titik utamanya adalah melihat bahasa sebagai praktik kekuasaan, bagaimana bahasa itu dibentuk dan terbentuk dari relasi sosial dan konteks sosial tertentu. Fairclough menawarkan model diskursus yang memuat tiga di- mensi analisis wacana, yaitu dimensi text (mikrostruktural), discourse practice (mesostruktural), dan sociocultural practice (makrostruktural). Penelitian ini menunjukkan Detik.com dan Kompas. com cenderung fokus mengangkat sisi entertainment Mulan sebagai politikus DPR RI dalam isi beritanya. Hanya yang membedakan adalah konstruksi wacana berita yang ditampilkan oleh dua media online ini. Konstruksi wacana Detik.com lebih menonjolkan citra Mulan secara positif, se- dangkan Kompas.com mengkonstruksikan citra Mulan secara negatif melalui pemberitaan terkait tindakan Mulan memamerkan endorse kacamata Gucci.

Abstract

  The objective of this study is to discover and analyze the framing of medcom.id and detik.com regarding the pros and cons of NasDem cadres regarding Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate. The research method is a qualitative approach, and the paradigm used in this study is constructivism. The objects of this study are the news texts of medcom.id and detik.com regarding the news on the pros and cons of NasDem cadres regarding Anies Baswedan as a presidential. Researchers discovered the framing carried by medcom.id and detik.com related to the news of the pros and cons of NasDem cadres regarding Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate utilizing the framing analysis of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. In terms of framing devices (syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical), it demonstrates that medcom.id in constructing social reality, particularly news related to the reaction of NasDem Party cadres following the announcement of Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate prefers sources that support the declaration and appear biased. This is inextricably linked to the ideology and political policies of medcom.id, which has ties to NasDem Party Chairman Surya Paloh. The framing by detikcom also tends to support Anies' declaration as a presidential candidate. This could be seen from the sources chosen by detik.com supporting and defending the NasDem Party and Anies Baswedan after the announcement of the presidential candidate.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the production team's strategies for maintaining listeners of the audio series "Catatan Pembalasan Fajar" on the Noice application. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The paradigm employed in this research is post-positivism. The subjects of this study are the production team of the "Catatan Pembalasan Fajar" audio series on the Noice application, including the producer (key informant) and audio engineer (informant). The object of this research is the "Catatan Pembalasan Fajar" audio series on the Noice application. After conducting the research using the program strategy proposed by Peter Pringle, which includes program planning, program production, program execution, program supervision, and program evaluation, the researcher found that the production team implemented several strategies to retain listeners of the "Catatan Pembalasan Fajar" audio series on the Noice application. These strategies include selecting the thriller genre due to high demand from listeners, using bold and assertive sound design, creating an engaging storyline, and paying attention to interactions and listener interests through the comment section of each episode. Despite facing production challenges, the production team successfully created a program that attracted listeners' interest and provided a satisfying audio experience.

Abstract

Adanya stigma mengenai pelabelan janda menimbulkan konotasi negatif terhadap publik. Hal ini menyebabkan pelabelan janda sebagai perempuan yang lemah dan aib. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bingkai konstruksi janda terhadap kasus pembunuhan yang dilakukan oleh anak anggota DPR RI. Jenis penelitiannya adalah kualitatif konstruktivis dengan metode analisis framing yang dikembangkan oleh Robert N. Entman. Objek yang diteliti adalah berita terkait pembunuhan yang dilakukan oleh anak anggota DPR RI yang dimuat melalui portal berita TV One News.com dan Tribunnews.com. Objek yang digunakan adalah sampel 10 berita pada tanggal 5 Oktober 2023 sampai dengan 7 Oktober 2023. Kedua media tersebut akan dianalisis dengan menonjolkan aspek-aspek tertentu dan menggunakan kalimat-kalimat yang ditampilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 2 (dua) media tersebut menampilkan artikel yang berbeda dalam pemberitaannya. Terdapat label janda yang bertuliskan status korban dan nama instansi yang disandang pelaku. Aspek ini ditulis dengan menggunakan kata-kata, kalimat, dan gambar yang berkaitan dengan identitas korban, labeling, dan makna dari setiap kajian media.

Abstract

The transformation of newspapers into online to multiplatform platforms is a necessity. Information technology and digitalization have significantly brought changes in the ways of media industry works. One of the local newspapers that still survives amidst the onslaught of digital technology is Solopos Daily. Solopos Daily realizes that the era of digital technology is the cause of the decline in the number of readers and advertisers. However, Solopos Daily was able to show interesting survival. Placing Solopos Daily as the case, the problem in this research is formulated as follows: how has the change and direction of Solopos Daily's business transformation in the era of digital technology? The research method being used is a holistic single case study with qualitative research. The result of this research revealed that Solopos Daily realized that the era of digitalization technology was responsible for the decrease in the number of readers and advertisers. To overcome the problems, several innovations were implemented in its media business. One of them was establishing a special market division called Integrated Marketing Solution (IMS) that is in charge of advertising, circulation, and a new business unit. This IMS Division is the marketing force for all the existing market potential of Solopos Daily related to information, data, writing, publishing, publication, event organizer, and institution. Although it has been present and developed as a multiplatform media, Solopos Daily still maintains and develops its print version.

Abstract

Partai Solidaritas Indonesia mendeklarasikan Kaesang Pangarep sebagai Ketua Umum yang baru, dalam acara Kopdarnas: Deklarasi sikap politik PSI yang diselenggarakan pada 25 September 2023. Di kesempatan tersebut Kaesang Pangarep menyampaikan pidato pertamanya serta alasan terjun ke dunia politik. Banyak pro dan kontra di masyarakat karena begitu cepat pengangkatannya sebagai ketua umum, juga belum adanya pengalaman terkait politik. Penunjukkan Kaesang sebagai Ketua Umum PSI diartikan fokus kepada kekusaan saja. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif dengan analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. Van Dijk. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji struktur mikro, struktur supra, dan struktur makro pada teks pidato pertama Kaesang Pangarep sebagai ketua umum Partai Solidaritas Indonesia. Disimpulkan bahwa pidato yang disampaikan ada struktur wacana serta elemen pada pidato Kaesang Pangarep. Di setiap struktur wacana yang disampaikan terdapat ideologi yang diperlihatkan seperti ideologi liberalisme, ideologi nasionalisme, dan ideologi sosialisme.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh model pembelajaran ini terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Postest. Dalam penelitian ini terlebih dahulu diberikan pretest untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa sebelum diberikan pembelajaran lebih lanjut. selanjutnya siswa diberikan pembelajaran dengan cara peneliti mengajarkan materi terkait kepada para siswa, setelah selesai pebelajaran selanjutnya siswa diberikan posttest untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Hasil uji T satu sampel menghasilkan nilai t hitung sebesar -14,081 dan nilai t tabel sebesar 0,000. Sehingga dapat katakan bahwa nilai t hitung t tabel, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Ha diterima dengan penjelasan terdapat pengaruh nyata terhadap model pembelajaran blended learning tipe station rotation terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 22, seluruh hasil akhir pada data yang sudah dianalisis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari data tersebut. Maka dengan demikian kesimpulan akhir yang didapatkan adalah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Blended Learning Tipe Station Rotation terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh.Kata Kunci: Kurikulum, Blended Learning, Station Rotation, Hasil Belajar, SPSS.This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of the Station Rotation type Blended Learning model on student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. This research employs a quantitative approach. The type of research used is experimental research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. In this study, a pretest was given first to determine the students' initial abilities before further instruction was provided. Subsequently, the students were taught the relevant material by the researcher, and after the completion of the instruction, the students were given a posttest to determine their learning outcomes. The one-sample T-test results produced a t-value of -14.081 and a t-table value of 0.000. Thus, it can be said that the t-value is greater than the t-table value, leading to the conclusion that Ha is accepted, indicating that there is a significant effect of the Station Rotation type Blended Learning model on student learning outcomes in the Science subject at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that based on data analysis using SPSS 22, all final results from the analyzed data show an effect from the data. Therefore, the final conclusion obtained is that there is an influence of the Station Rotation type Blended Learning model on student learning outcomes in the Science subject at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. Keywords: Curriculum, Blended Learning, Station Rotation, Learning Outcomes, SPSS.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran merupakan kerangka konseptual yang melukiskan prosedur yang sistematis dalam mengorganisasikan pengalaman belajar untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penerapan model pembelajaran course review horray dan model pembelajaran make a match telah banyak dilakukan. Namun tingakt perbandingan pada model keduanya belum pernah dilakukan pada khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanan di SD Negeri 5 Banda Acehyang bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horray dengan model pembelajaran make a match pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan  teknik purposive sampling, total responden 28 siswa dan kelas IV B sebanyak 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dilakukan dengan pemberian tes. Data diolah menggunakan SPSS 25 dengan taraf signifikan 5%  dengan uji N-Gain score diperoleh nilai mean untuk kelas CRH sebesar 0,5740 sedangkan untuk model MAM diperoleh mean sebesar 0,4242. Hasil uji-t menggunakan independen samples test CRH dan MAM menunjukkan hasil belajar yang diajarkan kedua model tersebut setara. Namun hasil belajar model pembelajaran course review horray lebih meningkat dibandingkan pembelajaran dengan model make a match dilihat dari hasil belajar  kelas CRH 1.900 > 1.690 hasil belajar  kelas MAM. Dengan demikian kesimpulan akhir yang didapatkan adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe course review horray lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran make a match pada mata pelajaran IPAS  di SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Make a Match, Course Review HorrayThe learning model is a conceptual framework that describes a systematic procedure for organizing learning experiences into learning goals. The application of the course review horray learning model and the make a match learning model has been done a lot. This study was conducted at SD Negri 5 Banda Aceh and aimed at studying the effectiveness of the use of a cooperative learning model type Course Review Horray with the learning model making a match on IPAS subjects. The population in this study is a student of the IV grade in SD Negeri 5, Banda Aceh. Sampling was done using purposive sampling techniques with a total of 28 respondents and 28 students in class IV B. Data collection techniques are tested. The data was processed using SPSS 25 with a 5% significant level, with the N-Gain test score obtaining a mean value for the CRH class of 0.5740 and for the MAM model obtaining a mean of 0.4242. The results of the test using independent samples of the CRH and MAM tests showed that the learning results taught by both models were equal. However, the learning outcome of the course review horray model has increased in comparison with the learning outcome of the make-a-match model, as seen from the CRH 1.900 > 1.690 learning outcomes of the MAM class. Thus, the final conclusion obtained is that the cooperative learning model of course review Horray type is better compared to the learning model made a match on the IPAS subjects in SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh.Keyword: Cooperative learning, Make a Match, Course Review Horray

Abstract

The declaration of Anies-Cak Imin (AMIN) on September 2, 2023, was officially held at the Majapahit Hotel, Surabaya, promoting a coalition of change with the intention of realizing a more advanced and just Indonesia. During the declaration, the AMIN pair took turns delivering their political speeches. Anies stated that the coalition of change was formed with good intentions and noble aspirations, which serve as a moral responsibility for the republic. Cak Imin also expressed his readiness to participate in the coalition of change, which aims to move towards a better direction. The objective of this research is to examine how the news framing on the national media outlets Detik.com and Suara.com relates to AMIN within the coalition of change. It will analyze the political messages conveyed through the political news in the selected media. This analysis uses the framing method of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, focusing on how mass media shapes public perception of an issue or policy and employing a qualitative approach to gain a deeper understanding of human and social issues. Pan and Kosicki's analysis consists of four structures: syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical. Each of these structures provides a detailed analysis of the focus of the media being studied. The data collection techniques in this research use primary data from online news and secondary data from books and journals related to framing. The results of this research reveal differences in the coverage between the two national media, Detik.com and Suara.com. It shows that each news outlet presents a different perspective on the Anies-Cak Imin coalition of change, with each applying different framing techniques based on the structures outlined by Pan and Kosicki. The analysis concludes that each media outlet frames the coalition of change by focusing on different issues, which becomes the unique appeal of the news framing by Detik.com and Suara.com.
