Abstract

This research was conducted because, in Social Science learning, the teaching methods used are still limited to lectures and assignments, which tend to be monotonous. This monotonous learning approach leads to a lack of active involvement of students in the teaching and learning process so students are not interested in the material presented which have an impact on their learning outcomes. To overcome this problem, researchers tried to make improvements by applying the Team Games Tournament type cooperative learning model in Social Science learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Team Games Tournament model in social studies learning for grade IV students. This study used a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experiment design with a Group Pretest-Posttest model. Data collection was carried out through learning outcomes tests and questionnaires. The subjects of the study consisted of 20 grade IV students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, with hypothesis testing in the form of a Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the average score on the pretest and posttest. On the pretest, the average score of students was in the very low category, which was 42.25 with a standard deviation of 19.566. However, in the posttest, there was a significant increase, with the average score of students reaching the high category, which is 79.25 with a standard deviation of 12.698. In addition, there was an increase in the number of students who achieved minimum completeness scores (KKM) from pretest to posttest, from 2 students to 13 students. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a significant difference between the average scores before and after the application of the team games tournament learning model. In addition, the results of the questionnaire also showed a positive and enthusiastic response of students to the application of the learning model. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the team games tournament learning model is effective and can be applied in class IV MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun in learning Social Sciences. Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun is one of the madrasa-based educational institutions that has a commitment to form students to be berakhlaqul karimah in accordance with a solid and strong foundation of faith. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of learning akidah akhlak on the behavior of fifth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun. This research uses mixed methods or often referred to as mixed methods. In relation to this study, researchers used mixed methods research with a embedded design. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results of this study show that the learning process of moral creed for grade V students applies a variety of learning methods, including lectures plus, group assignments, literacy, discussions, and educational games. Habituation and application of moral creed values are carried out through routine school activities such as morning roll call, environmental picket, praying on time, and implementing 5S and 3 Advanced Cultures. This is also in line with the role of teachers in integrating Akidah Akhlak values into students' daily lives and providing good examples in carrying out religious teachings and moral values. The results of quantitative analysis showed a t test of 3.361> 2.026. To find out the category of the level of influence of research between variables, an analysis was carried out using an r value of 0.494 = 49.40% which is between the values of 0.400 - 0.599 in the high enough category. So based on these results it explains that the Ha hypothesis is accepted and the Ho hypothesis is rejected. Keywords: Akidah Akhlak Learning, Student Behavior

Abstract

Reading is a way to explore information and knowledge from written texts in order to gain extensive knowledge and new experiences. Success in learning to read at school has an influence on literacy development and students' overall learning abilities. Therefore, teachers need to apply appropriate strategies to attract students' interest so that they are more enthusiastic in the process of learning to read. This research aims to find out these strategies and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for teacher strategies in improving the beginning reading skills of grade 1 students. This research uses a qualitative, descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of 1 teacher and 13 students selected by purposive sampling. Researchers act as key instruments with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and tests, then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1) The strategies applied by teachers to improve beginning reading skills include: bottom-up, top-down and reading aloud strategies. It can be concluded that the initial reading strategies implemented by grade 1 teachers are quite varied and effective in improving the initial reading abilities of grade 1 students at Kita Cibanoang School. 2) Supporting factors for teacher strategies in improving initial reading skills, namely, infrastructure, parental support and school policies. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for teachers' strategies in improving initial reading skills is that there is no special scheduling for reading outside of effective learning hours. Abstract

Intrinsic motivation arises naturally from within an individual and is the primary driving force for someone to actively engage in an activity. Among the classic books in the form of poetry, Alfiyah Ibn Malik is very famous. This book consists of 1002 verses, discussing nahwu-sharaf. Although it seems difficult, memorization is an effective way to understand it. The first problem of this research is what factors influence intrinsic motivation in memorizing Alfiyah Ibn Malik. The second problem is how to build intrinsic motivation in ninth-grade students of MTs Riyadhul Huda in memorizing Alfiyah Ibn Malik. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that students' intrinsic motivation is influenced by a variety of complex and interrelated factors. First, strong intrinsic reasons are the main foundation of students' motivation. A deep desire to master Arabic grammar, understand yellow books, and practice the values in Alfiyah is the main driver. Second, students' positive attitudes, such as enthusiasm and high interest, also play an important role in the memorization process. Third, students' proactive attention, such as setting aside special time for practice, also contributes to their intrinsic motivation. Furthermore, this study also reveals that students' intrinsic motivation can be increased through various efforts. First, self-awareness of each individual's memorization style allows students to develop effective memorization strategies. Second, the competitive spirit towards memorization as an interesting challenge and the existence of clear goals become additional motivation for students. Abstract

The background of this research relates to the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. Students' perceptions of this profession include views on the role of teachers as dedicated mentors and unsung heroes who provide education and shape the character of young generations. The students' interest in becoming teachers arises from several motivations, both intrinsic and extrinsic, such as a desire to contribute to the field of education and support from their environment. The research findings indicate that positive perceptions and strong interest correlate with students' aspirations to pursue a career in teaching, with family background, learning experiences, and teaching practice as influencing factors. This research aims to analyze the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) Study Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. The research uses a qualitative approach, with a Random Sampling method, and employs observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data from PGMI students. The data collection technique involves using data triangulation to ensure the validity of the data used by the researcher. The research findings indicate that students' perceptions of the teaching profession are influenced by internal factors such as personal interest and encouragement from family, as well as external factors like perceptions of the welfare and challenges of the teaching profession. Most students have a high interest in becoming teachers due to idealism and a desire to contribute to education, although some also consider the challenges of this profession. The findings of this research are expected to assist educational institutions in improving the quality of teacher education and motivating students to pursue careers as educators. Abstract

Puberty or the transition from childhood to adulthood is one phase of human life. Teenagers will experience physical, mental and social changes throughout this time as part of puberty. Today, puberty hits many children much earlier than in the past. Lack of understanding is a problem faced by children aged puberty, which is actually not much different. Stress may arise when a child develops faster than other children because they feel different. This research aims to find out whether menstruation education in princess activities can influence the understanding and readiness of grade 5 female students in dealing with the menstruation they will experience and whether there are changes in attitudes, beliefs and stigma towards menstruation after female students take part in education through princess activities. The approach taken in this research uses a mixed methods research approach which emphasizes quantitative research. This research uses a sequential mixed methods strategy, especially a sequential explanatory strategy. The results of the research show that the P value obtained is 0.000 < α which is set at 0.05, meaning that there is a significant impact of menstruation education through women's education activities on increasing understanding and readiness to face menstruation in grade 5 female students at MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. Abstract

Fostering student independence, especially in boarding life away from parents, is very important. A teacher must be able to communicate well in the process of fostering and supervising this independence. Teachers have an active role in fostering student independence, so good communication between teachers and students is absolutely necessary. Thus, students' independence can be well formed through the active role and effective communication of the teacher. This thesis examines how the independence of 5th grade students of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun in dormitory life and teacher communication in fostering the independence of life. This research method uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through observation and in-depth interviews with students and 5th grade teachers of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. The research subjects consisted of 35 students and 4 5th grade teachers of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. The results showed that the life independence of 5th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun was influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors include intrinsic motivation, level of self-confidence, and ability to manage time. External factors include the school environment, life skills guidance from teachers, as well as the influence of independent peers. In addition, this study explores the importance of teacher communication in fostering students' life independence. Grade 5 teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun use interpersonal and group forms of communication. And a combination of verbal and nonverbal communication is also used to convey information clearly, thus creating a dynamic learning environment, and supporting students' holistic development. These communication strategies help students to increase their independence and develop time management skills that are essential in boarding school life. Abstract

Wordwall adalah platform pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pengajaran. Siswa kurang aktif dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika, dan ketidaknyamanan ini sering kali mengarah pada ketidakpastian dan ketidaksukaan terhadap mata pelajaran tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk memahami adanya pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain non-equivalent control group design yang melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VB03 dan VB04 yang berjumlah 22 masing-masing kelas, dengan Teknik pengambilan secara acak. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan SPSS 26. Pada penelitian ini, hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan uji-t (independent sample t-test). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dua hal yaitu (1) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan wordwall terlihat signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai naik 37,73 menjadi 78,64. Sementara itu, siswa kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan wordwall mengalami peningkatan yang lebih kecil, dari nilai rata-rata 37,27 menjadi 55,64. Hasil belajar akhir di kelas eksperimen adalah 78,64 sedangkan di kelas kontrol 55,64, dengan selisih sebesar 28. Selain itu, hasil posttest menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Dari data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan wordwall berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika kelas V di MI Ma’had Al-Zaytun.
