Abstract

Intrinsic motivation arises naturally from within an individual and is the primary driving force for someone to actively engage in an activity. Among the classic books in the form of poetry, Alfiyah Ibn Malik is very famous. This book consists of 1002 verses, discussing nahwu-sharaf. Although it seems difficult, memorization is an effective way to understand it. The first problem of this research is what factors influence intrinsic motivation in memorizing Alfiyah Ibn Malik. The second problem is how to build intrinsic motivation in ninth-grade students of MTs Riyadhul Huda in memorizing Alfiyah Ibn Malik. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that students' intrinsic motivation is influenced by a variety of complex and interrelated factors. First, strong intrinsic reasons are the main foundation of students' motivation. A deep desire to master Arabic grammar, understand yellow books, and practice the values in Alfiyah is the main driver. Second, students' positive attitudes, such as enthusiasm and high interest, also play an important role in the memorization process. Third, students' proactive attention, such as setting aside special time for practice, also contributes to their intrinsic motivation. Furthermore, this study also reveals that students' intrinsic motivation can be increased through various efforts. First, self-awareness of each individual's memorization style allows students to develop effective memorization strategies. Second, the competitive spirit towards memorization as an interesting challenge and the existence of clear goals become additional motivation for students. Abstract

The background of this research relates to the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. Students' perceptions of this profession include views on the role of teachers as dedicated mentors and unsung heroes who provide education and shape the character of young generations. The students' interest in becoming teachers arises from several motivations, both intrinsic and extrinsic, such as a desire to contribute to the field of education and support from their environment. The research findings indicate that positive perceptions and strong interest correlate with students' aspirations to pursue a career in teaching, with family background, learning experiences, and teaching practice as influencing factors. This research aims to analyze the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) Study Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. The research uses a qualitative approach, with a Random Sampling method, and employs observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data from PGMI students. The data collection technique involves using data triangulation to ensure the validity of the data used by the researcher. The research findings indicate that students' perceptions of the teaching profession are influenced by internal factors such as personal interest and encouragement from family, as well as external factors like perceptions of the welfare and challenges of the teaching profession. Most students have a high interest in becoming teachers due to idealism and a desire to contribute to education, although some also consider the challenges of this profession. The findings of this research are expected to assist educational institutions in improving the quality of teacher education and motivating students to pursue careers as educators. Abstract

Puberty or the transition from childhood to adulthood is one phase of human life. Teenagers will experience physical, mental and social changes throughout this time as part of puberty. Today, puberty hits many children much earlier than in the past. Lack of understanding is a problem faced by children aged puberty, which is actually not much different. Stress may arise when a child develops faster than other children because they feel different. This research aims to find out whether menstruation education in princess activities can influence the understanding and readiness of grade 5 female students in dealing with the menstruation they will experience and whether there are changes in attitudes, beliefs and stigma towards menstruation after female students take part in education through princess activities. The approach taken in this research uses a mixed methods research approach which emphasizes quantitative research. This research uses a sequential mixed methods strategy, especially a sequential explanatory strategy. The results of the research show that the P value obtained is 0.000 < α which is set at 0.05, meaning that there is a significant impact of menstruation education through women's education activities on increasing understanding and readiness to face menstruation in grade 5 female students at MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. Abstract

Fostering student independence, especially in boarding life away from parents, is very important. A teacher must be able to communicate well in the process of fostering and supervising this independence. Teachers have an active role in fostering student independence, so good communication between teachers and students is absolutely necessary. Thus, students' independence can be well formed through the active role and effective communication of the teacher. This thesis examines how the independence of 5th grade students of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun in dormitory life and teacher communication in fostering the independence of life. This research method uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through observation and in-depth interviews with students and 5th grade teachers of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. The research subjects consisted of 35 students and 4 5th grade teachers of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. The results showed that the life independence of 5th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun was influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors include intrinsic motivation, level of self-confidence, and ability to manage time. External factors include the school environment, life skills guidance from teachers, as well as the influence of independent peers. In addition, this study explores the importance of teacher communication in fostering students' life independence. Grade 5 teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun use interpersonal and group forms of communication. And a combination of verbal and nonverbal communication is also used to convey information clearly, thus creating a dynamic learning environment, and supporting students' holistic development. These communication strategies help students to increase their independence and develop time management skills that are essential in boarding school life. Abstract

Wordwall adalah platform pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pengajaran. Siswa kurang aktif dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika, dan ketidaknyamanan ini sering kali mengarah pada ketidakpastian dan ketidaksukaan terhadap mata pelajaran tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk memahami adanya pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain non-equivalent control group design yang melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VB03 dan VB04 yang berjumlah 22 masing-masing kelas, dengan Teknik pengambilan secara acak. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan SPSS 26. Pada penelitian ini, hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan uji-t (independent sample t-test). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dua hal yaitu (1) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan wordwall terlihat signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai naik 37,73 menjadi 78,64. Sementara itu, siswa kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan wordwall mengalami peningkatan yang lebih kecil, dari nilai rata-rata 37,27 menjadi 55,64. Hasil belajar akhir di kelas eksperimen adalah 78,64 sedangkan di kelas kontrol 55,64, dengan selisih sebesar 28. Selain itu, hasil posttest menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Dari data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan wordwall berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika kelas V di MI Ma’had Al-Zaytun. Abstract

The conservation enterprise growth in Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, which is focused on ecotourism or natural and cultural tourism, have varied greatly in recent years regarding the environmental of Wakatobi, both in terms of appearance, human resources and variety of types. Eco-tourism has developed quite well and advanced in several places, such as Bali, but there are also those that have not succeeded in making ecotourism a leading sector and priority, such as Wakatobi Regency. To improve public understanding of sustainable tourism the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) has issued a special guideline for sustainable tourism. This research is one of the GSTC indicators in the management of several marine conservation destinations on Wangi-Wangi Island, namely WTC, DCDC, and FPW Sombu. By utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research aims to expand knowledge about the WTC, DCDC, and FPW Sombu as one of the mainstay ecotourism destinations in Wakatobi Regency, determine whether the management of these destinations has fulfilled the GSTC criteria, and determines the development strategy of the ecotourism object in question using the GSTC indicators. The results show that, so far, the management of the WTC, DCDC, and the FPW Sombu almost largely does not meet the GSTC sustainable tourism indicators. The focus of the aspects studied are indicators of (A) sustainable development, (C) cultural sustainability and (D) environmental sustainability, which show that the management of the three marine ecotourism destinations has not been maximally considered. Overall, all three destinations are still weak, according to the analysis of the with the GSTC criteria. A review of the sustainable tourism aspects of the GSTC can provide information on the development of the WTC, DCDC, and the FPW Sombu, so that they meet the requirements to become sustainable marine ecotourism destinations in the GSTC. in terms of attractions, amenity, and accessibility.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in developing students' emotional intelligence at school, serving not only as teachers but also as determinants of the quality of education. This study is motivated by the importance of emotional intelligence that affects students' social interactions, character development and mental well-being. Observation in grade III shows that students tend to be explorative and active in seeking new experiences. As the highest level of primary education, grade III students often feel more mature and play the role of older siblings. Students with stable emotional intelligence are usually obedient and able to distinguish the right actions, while students with less stable emotions face difficulties in controlling their emotions. This research aims to find out 1) the role of teachers in shaping the emotional intelligence of third grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun, 2) supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping emotional intelligence of third grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun. The method used was descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. This research obtained the following results: 1) The role of teachers in shaping students' emotional intelligence in class III of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun is teacher as educator, teacher as motivator, teacher as facilitator, teacher as mediator, teacher as guide, teacher as director, and teacher as parent. 2) Supporting factors in fostering students' emotional intelligence are conducive environment, social caring attitude and habituation of saying please, sorry and thank you. The inhibiting factors in fostering students' emotional intelligence are the lack of communication between parents and teachers, feelings of homesickness, social background, family economic background and teacher psychology in the process of guiding students. Abstract

This study aims to explore the opinions of Grade IV students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu about the benefits of clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) to be used as evaluation material, especially learning about personal health and the environment. This is important in the context of students' lives in the present and future. This study uses a qualitative description approach; Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. To check the validity of the data, source tringulation is used, namely the integration of data from various sources. The results of the study show that the benefits of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) according to Grade IV Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu 2024 are: (a) reducing the risk of developing diseases; (b) prevent them from infection and disease; (c) improvement of students' physical health; (d) supporting physical conditions to stay healthy; (e) support a more effective learning process; (f) form positive habits that they will carry into adulthood; especially the habit of maintaining personal and environmental cleanliness; and (g) increasing social awareness, namely by reminding friends to implement PHBS. Teachers' efforts to improve understanding and behavior of clean and healthy living for grade IV students of madrasah ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun through a holistic educational approach and practical activities made by teachers, namely grade IV students can understand and apply clean and healthy living behaviors well. Abstract

Belajar dan pembelajaran adalah dua konsep yang saling terkait dan tak terpisahkan dalam proses pendidikan. Dalam kegiatan edukatif, interaksi antara guru dan siswa menjadi kunci utama. Dalam konteks belajar IPA di Sekolah Dasar, guru perlu menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mahad Al-Zaytun serta upaya guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam belajar IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk memahami dan menggambarkan fenomena yang terkait dengan pembelajaran IPA. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan tes. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 4 dan guru yang mengajar IPA dikelas 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam belajar IPA berpusat pada siswa, bekerja sama, berkomunikasi, berpikir kritis dan berinovasi. Sedangkan hasil diperoleh untuk mencapai tujuan upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis diantaranya menjadi teladan yang baik dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Wakatobi ditetapkan sebagai Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional, memiliki potensi besar untuk pengembangan eduwisata budidaya rumput laut yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi serta merumuskan langkah-langkah strategis dalam mengembangkan eduwisata budidaya rumput laut yang ramah lingkungan berbasis Community Based Tourism (CBT) di Desa Liya Onemelangka. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang mencakup observasi, wawancara, tinjauan literatur, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan tempurung kelapa dalam budidaya rumput laut ramah lingkungan menawarkan potensi yang signifikan sebagai daya tarik eduwisata yang unik. Respons positif dari masyarakat setempat, yang ditunjukkan melalui partisipasi aktif dan rasa kepemilikan yang tinggi, mengindikasikan keselarasan dengan prinsip-prinsip CBT. Penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa pengembangan budidaya rumput laut ramah lingkungan dapat berkontribusi pada penguatan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Wakatobi, memberikan kontribusi pada literatur tentang pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis komunitas dan pelestarian lingkungan.
