Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana kualitas produk, harga, dan diskon berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian pada e-commerce TikTok Shop. Kajian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif serta verifikatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 responden, dimana ditetapkan melalui penggunaan rumus slovin dan ditetapkan melalui penggunaan teknik purposive sampling. Pemilihan sampel ini dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria responden yang sudah pernah menggunakan fitur TikTok Shop pada aplikasi TikTok, berusia 17-60 tahun dan berdomisili di Bandung. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner terstruktur, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil analisis deskriptif, mendapati bahwa variabel keputusan pembelian, kualitas produk, harga, serta diskon ada di kategori baik. Hasil analisis verifikatif menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, kualitas produk dan diskon berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan harga tidak berpengaruh. Dari hasil regresi ini, kualitas produk dan diskon terbukti menyumbang pengaruhnya pada keputusan pembelian secara positif signifikan, sementara harga tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan. Tetapi secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen ini menyumbang kontribusi pada keputusan pembelian sebesar 71,9%.  Hasil studi ini diharapkan dapat membantu TikTok Shop dalam meningkatkan mutu produk, mengoptimalkan penerapan strategi diskon, serta juga memperkuat penetapan harga agar menjadi lebih efektif dalam mendorong keputusan pembelian konsumen, sehingga pengalaman berbelanja dapat semakin meningkat dan juga mendorong kesetiaan pengguna

Abstract

The rapid growth of technology sector companies in Indonesia, accompanied by significant stock price fluctuations, indicates inconsistencies in firm value assessment influenced by financial performance and funding decisions. This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure, business risk, and profitability on firm value in technology sector companies listed on the Bursa Efek Indonesia during the 2021–2024 period. The research applies a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from published annual financial statements. The sampling technique employed purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, preceded by descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. Firm value was measured using Price to Book Value (PBV), capital structure was proxied by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Long-Term Debt to Equity Ratio (LTDER), business risk was measured using Degree of Operating Leverage (DOL), and profitability was proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). The results indicate that capital structure and profitability have a significant effect on firm value, while business risk shows a varying influence depending on the company’s financial condition. These findings imply that optimal debt management and the ability to generate profits are essential factors in enhancing firm value, whereas excessive business risk may reduce investor confidence. Therefore, companies are expected to determine an optimal capital structure and maintain stable profitability to maximize firm value and attract potential investors.

Abstract

Oxidative stress and inflammation are closely linked pathological processes. Although non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are effective, their use is associated with gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and renal side effects, highlighting the need for safer alternatives. Jamu, an Indonesian traditional medicine, is widely used, yet scientific evidence supporting its efficacy and safety remains limited. The objective of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities of four different Indonesian jamu brands available for purchase on e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, and examine their correlation with the total phenolics, flavonoids, and alkaloids content in those jamu. The anti-inflammatory activity of jamu was assessed in vitro by evaluating its ability to stabilize red blood cell membranes and inhibit protein denaturation, using diclofenac sodium as a positive control. The antioxidant activity was evaluated using the 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay, with ascorbic acid as the standard antioxidant. Total phenolics, flavonoids, and alkaloids contents were determined spectrophotometrically and expressed as gallic acid equivalents (GAE), rutin equivalents (RE), and berberine equivalents (BE) per gram of jamu extract, respectively. The correlations were evaluated based on multiple regression and Pearson correlation analysis using 99% confidence level. The aqueous extracts of Jamu A, B, C, and D were able to stabilize red blood cell membranes, inhibit protein denaturation, and exhibit free radical scavenging activity. Among the extracts, Jamu B demonstrated the lowest IC50 value, indicating the most effective anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties followed by Jamu A, Jamu D, and Jamu C. These activities were significantly correlated with their total phenolics, flavonoids, and alkaloids content (p < 0.01).

Abstract

Salah satu produk agroindustri yang sudah dikembangkan di Jember adalah mengkudu fermentasi (Morinda citrifolia), diproduksi oleh mitra yakni UD ZAM yang berada di Desa Bogorejo, Kecamatan Gumukmas, Jember yang berjarak kurang lebih 38 km dari Universitas Jember. Salah satu permasalahan mitra adalah produk mengkudu yang dihasilkan hanya berupa bentuk curah (bahan baku), sehingga margin keuntungan terbesar justru dimiliki oleh industri besar yang memproduksi produk jadi . Mitra menghendaki adanya diversifikasi produk mengkudu sebagai produk jadi yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Untuk mewujudkan visi UD ZAM maka diperlukan inovasi produk mengkudu fermentasi .Salah satu  bentuk produk yang  diusulkan oleh peneliti adalah berupa sabun mengkudu. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan mitra, dimana Tim akan menjelaskan bagaimana cara pemilihan bahan baku mengkudu yang baik, manfaat atau khasiat buah mnegkudu serta mendampingi proses formulasi sabun cair mengkudu, uji kualitas,  pengemasan hingga pemasaran. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat diaplikasikan oleh mitra ataupun UMKM yang ada di Jember dan sekitarnya yang selama ini sudah membuat produk berbasis buah mengkudu melalui pendampingan formulasi dan diversifikasi produk sesuai dengan roadmap pengabdian Keris Dimas produk bioaktif dari bahan alam.

Abstract

A previous study showed that Tithonia diversifolia ethanolic extract has antiproliferative properties against HeLa cervical cancer cells. It has also shown anti-inflammatory properties in vivo, one of the approaches to cancer chemoprevention. This research aimed to determine the relation of in vitro anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity of T. diversifolia leaves ethanolic extract and fractions with total phenolic and flavonoid content. The anti-inflammatory was evaluated in vitro using red blood cell (RBC) membrane stabilization and inhibition of protein denaturation method, while antioxidant activity was done using the DPPH method. Phytochemical screening was done using the TLC method. Total phenolic and flavonoid content were also counted using the colorimetry method. ANOVA followed by LSD post hoc, multiple regression analysis, and Pearson correlation were used to analyze the data. Compared to its fractions, the highest anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity was obtained from T. diversifolia leaves ethanolic extract. The T. diversifolia leaves ethanolic extract contained terpenoids, alkaloids, polyphenols, and flavonoids. Overall, the antioxidant property contributed more to RBC membrane stabilization than protein denaturation inhibition. The phenolic and flavonoid content contributed most to antioxidant and red blood cell membrane stabilization rather than protein denaturation inhibition.
