Abstract

Every believer is obligated to possess the ability to read the Quran proficiently. This obligation extends not only to adults but is also encouraged from a young age, ensuring that children learn the sacred verses of the Quran. The significance of this mandate is earnestly acknowledged by the Youth Department of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), which has established several renowned Quranic Education Centers throughout Malaysia. These educational centers have received widespread recognition and are considered pioneers in the establishment of Quranic Education Centers (TPA). Over the past half-century since its inception, TPA has continued to evolve, employing a teaching methodology known as the "Nurul Quran Method." This article aims to assess the effectiveness of the Nurul Quran Method in the Quranic learning process at TPA Syakirin. Additionally, the article explores the challenges faced by teachers and administrators at TPA Syakirin in their efforts to enhance students' abilities within the institution. This study adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The research findings indicate that the learning process using the Nurul Quran Method proceeds smoothly. This method incorporates elements of "learning through play" and various other creative techniques. One of the key strengths of TPA Syakirin lies in its utilization of a distinctive teaching methodology, not only in Malaysia but also from Quranic education institutions in other countries across Southeast Asia.

Abstract

Ketersediaan pakan ternak yang berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu tantangan utama dalam pengembangan peternakan rakyat, khususnya di Desa Adolang yang mayoritas masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai petani dan peternak. Pada musim kemarau, peternak sering mengalami kesulitan memperoleh pakan hijauan sehingga berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas ternak. Desa Adolang memiliki potensi limbah pertanian berupa batang pisang yang melimpah, namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal sebagai sumber pakan alternatif. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak melalui penerapan Integrated Farming System dengan pemanfaatan batang pisang sebagai bahan baku utama pembuatan silase, sehingga mampu mendukung ketahanan pangan lokal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi persiapan, penyuluhan, pelatihan, pendampingan, evaluasi, dan monitoring. Penyuluhan dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai manfaat pakan silase. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan pendekatan learning by doing melalui praktik langsung pembuatan silase batang pisang yang dicampur dengan dedak padi dan molases. Selanjutnya, pendampingan dilakukan melalui kunjungan lapangan guna memantau hasil fermentasi dan memberikan Solusi terkait kendala teknis. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta kualitas silase yang dihasilkan, sedangkan monitoring dilakukan untuk menjamin keberlanjutan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kapasitas peternak pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebesar 90.43%. Peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar silase, terampil melakukan proses pembuatan, dan menghasilkan produk silase. Selain itu, peternak menjadi lebih mandiri dalam memanfaatkan limbah batang pisang sebagai cadangan pakan. Program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis Integrated Farming System melalui pembuatan silase batang pisang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan peternak, menyediakan pakan alternatif yang berkelanjutan, serta mendukung peningkatan produktivitas ternak kambing di Desa Adolang.

Abstract

This The Balikpapan Formation in the Lower Kutai Basin hosts a complex assemblage of fluvial-to-deltaic reservoir facies whose heterogeneity significantly influences reservoir quality and connectivity. This study integrates well-log interpretation, electrofacies classification, and quantitative petrophysical evaluation from six wells to assess the stratigraphic controls governing reservoir distribution. Three main facies associations are identified: channelised sandstones, mouth-bar to delta-front, and prodelta. Proximal channel sands exhibit the highest porosity (18–30%) and permeability (5–40 mD), but their limited lateral continuity results in poor interwell connectivity. Mouth-bar and delta-front sands display moderate porosity (12–25%) and permeability (<1–30 mD) and form laterally extensive, sheet-like bodies that enhance reservoir connectivity under increasing tidal influence. Thick prodelta mudstones act as regionally extensive vertical seals. The stratigraphic framework is characterised by repeated upward- coarsening parasequences bounded by marine flooding surfaces, reflecting alternating phases of delta progradation and transgression. These results demonstrate that depositional processes and stratigraphic architecture are the primary controls on reservoir heterogeneity in the Lower Kutai Basin.

Abstract

The green leafhopper (Nephotettix virescens) is the primary vector of the tungro virus, posing a significant threat to rice productivity in Indonesia. The utilization of local cultivars with natural resistance represents a sustainable strategy to mitigate such biotic constraints. This study aims to evaluate the resistance levels of ten local rice cultivars from Central Sulawesi against N. virescens using the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) standard evaluation. The assessment covers parameters such as incubation period, symptom severity, and disease index (DI) to classify phenotypes and recommend priority genotypes. The research was conducted from April to September 2025 at the Plant Pest and Disease Green House, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, utilizing a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. The ten cultivars tested originated from Ampana (Gondu, Masai, Kamba Bulili, and Kalendeng), Sigi (PM and Kas), and Banggai (Habo, Sampara, Dongan, and Uva Buya). Results indicated that the symptom incubation period ranged from 5 to 7 days after infection (DAI). Based on the disease index (DI) observed from 14 to 56 DAI, significant genetic response diversity was found among the cultivars. The cultivar Kamba Bulili was classified as resistant with the lowest DI value of 3.8. In contrast, the cultivars Kas (DI 7.4) and PM (DI 7.0) were categorized as susceptible. The remaining seven cultivars exhibited a rather resistant response.
