Abstract

Discharge planning is planning carried out for patients and families before the patient leaves the hospital with the aim of ensuring that the patient can achieve optimal health and reduce the length of stay and hospital costs. Knowledge is the result of human sensing through a learning process or the result of a person's knowledge of objects through their senses. Attitude is a reaction or response of someone who is still closed to a stimulus. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing discharge planning on family knowledge and attitudes in caring for post-thyphoid pediatric patients in the Ashoka treatment room at Hajjah Andi Depu Polewali Mandar District Hospital. This research is a Quasy Experimental Design with a one-group pre-post test design approach. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, totaling 12 people. The results of the statistical analysis test using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test obtained a p-value of 0.002 for Discharge planning and a p-value of 0.010 for knowledge, the Paired Sample T Test was 0.000, which means it is smaller than α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is an Influence of the Implementation of Discharge Planning on Family Knowledge and Attitudes in Caring for Post-Thyphoid Child Patients in the Asoka Treatment Room, Hajjah Andi Depu Polewali Mandar Regional Hospital

Abstract

Hydroponic plant cultivation refers to a method of cultivating plants that eliminates the use of soil as a growth medium. The present system possesses several notable benefits, including its ability to operate within a limited land area and the superior performance of hydroponic cultivation compared to conventional growing methods. This approach aligns with the concepts of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2, which aims to ensure global food security. This public service aims to provide an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled hydroponic production system that utilizes computer vision technology to regulate the provision of nutrients to plants based on their development rate. This technique is applicable to those in the general population who possess restricted land resources. Further, we aim to engage in community socialization around the hydroponic system while also offering insights into the newest advancements in information system technology applicable to hydroponics. We facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills within the community as a whole, with a specific focus on the students at PPMI Shohwatul Is'ad to equip them with the necessary expertise to effectively implement hydroponic plants and the latest information system technology for the purpose of monitoring.

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effect of using indigofera leaf meal on quail eggs performance and physical quality. The research was conducted from March to May 2023 at the Poultry Laboratory of Yogyakarta Magelang Agricultural Development Polytechnic (POLBANGTAN). The research used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, using 200 blaster quails. Treatments included P0 (without Indigofera leaf meal), P1 (7.5% Indigofera leaf meal), P2 (15% Indigofera leaf meal), and P3 (22.5% Indigofera leaf meal). Parameters observed included feed consumption, egg production, egg weight, egg index, shell thickness, albumen index, egg yolk index, haugh units, and egg yolk color score. The research data was analyzed using ANOVA and Kruskal Wallis analysis. A further Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was carried out if the treatment had a significant difference. Based on the results, the use of Indigofera leaf meal at different levels had no significant effect (P>0.05) on egg production, feed consumption, egg weight, albumen index, egg yolk index, and haugh units. However, it significantly affected (P<0.05) shell thickness, egg index, and yolk color score. The research concluded that feeding Indigofera leaf meal up to 22.5% can be used because it does not affect production performance and improves egg quality.

Abstract

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14/PRT/M/2018 concerning Quality Improvement of Slum Housing and Slum Settlements. It is stated that slum housing is housing that has decreased the quality of its function as a dwelling, while slums are settlements that are not habitable due to building irregularity, high building density, and unqualified building quality and facilities and infrastructure. Conditions in Tanjung Village, Hamparan Rawang District, Sungai Full City. The condition of Tanjung village, Hamparan Rawang District, Sungai Full City, is classified as a slum, judging from environmental drainage, there are collapses in drainage channels, a lot of garbage is thrown and accumulates in drainage channels, reducing the effectiveness of drainage channels, the amount of development in the area, and other bad conditions. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors affect drainage slums in Tanjung Village, Hamparan Rawang District, Sungai Full City, look for dominant factors and find strategies to prevent or minimize the occurrence of drainage slums in Tanjung Village, Hamparan Rawang District, Sungai Full City for the present and the future. This study used quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of the research conducted there are 5 factors that affect drainage slums, namely the inability of drainage to drain water runoff, unavailability of drainage, disconnection with urban drainage systems, lack of maintenance of drainage, collapse of drainage.

Abstract

According to Minister of Public Works No. 12 of 2014, drainage with good conditions if drainage is able to control residential water so that it does not disturb and harm the community. However, looking at the current drainage conditions in Tanah Datar Regency, there are still many that are not well maintained. Based on field surveys, it was found that irrigation conditions in Tanah Datar district had good conditions of 56.69%, in other words, as many as 379 irrigation areas were only in good condition, the rest ± 43.31% were severely damaged and lightly damaged. This will affect planting productivity for farmers in the area around Tanah Datar Regency, (PSDA field of PUPR Office in 2023). The causes of damage to the irrigation network in Tanah Datar district in recent years are caused by landslides, overflow of irrigation water due to large amounts of sedimentation and garbage, lack of maintenance after irrigation is built, and lack of P3A members and community participation and sense of belonging to irrigation. The purpose of this study is to analyze, determine the dominant factors of irrigation asset maintenance management in Agam District and find solutions or solutions to improve the maintenance of irrigation assets in Tanah Datar District. This study used quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that there are 8 factors that determine the management of irrigation maintenance in Agam Regency, consisting of factors such as the physical condition of irrigation networks, planting productivity, planting facilities, personnel organization, documentation, P3A conditions, funds and community participation.

Abstract

Smart   city mengacu pada konsep pengelolaan kota yang efisien, berkelanjutan, dan inovatif melalui pemanfaatan teknologi ICT terkini. Penggunaan sensor, big data, dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) memungkinkan pemantauan real-time terhadap lalu lintas, polusi udara, penggunaan energi, dan layanan publik lainnya. Tujuan utama dari konsep smart   city adalah meningkatkan kualitas hidup warga. Pada sisi lainnya, teknologi smart   campus adalah konsep yang mengintegrasikan teknologi ICT canggih ke dalam lingkungan universitas atau institusi pendidikan tinggi. Melalui teknologi smart   campus, pendidikan tinggi tidak lagi terbatas pada ruang kelas fisik konvensional. Penggunaan e-learning, aplikasi mobile, dan platform pembelajaran online memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk mengakses materi pelajaran kapan saja, dan di mana saja. Selain itu, teknologi ini juga dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman mahasiswa di luar kelas, seperti sistem manajemen informasi akademik yang terintegrasi, dan pusat kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang terotomatisasi. Dalam rangka mendukung konsep smart   city dan smart   campus tersebut, Universitas Hasanuddin hadir memberikan solusi dan inovasi untuk menunjang proses belajar yang lebih inovatif dan atraktif di kampus.    Dengan berbagai peralatan smart   campus yang telah diriset, Universitas Hasanuddin juga mengajak perguruan tinggi lainnya untuk mulai beralih kedalam sistem smart   campus. Terdapat peningkatan pemahaman sekitar 67% dari peserta kegiatan bimbingan teknis dan pemutakhiran teknologi smart   campus yang berkolaborasi dengan pihak IAIN Bone. Data statistik ini mengkonfirmasi aspek urgensi kegiatan sejenis untuk secara berkelanjutan ditradisikan pada masa-masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Coastal areas and small islands in Indonesia, reaching approximately 17,000 islands, will be directly affected by increasing sea levels, seawater intrusion, and salinization. This paper provides insight into salinity and its effect to plant, saline-tolerant animal feed crops' characteristics, adaptation mechanisms, and some proposed strategies to deal with salinity issues. This research was conducted through literature study and data were analyzed descriptively. Salinity affects the photosynthesis process, thereby decreasing the net Photosynthetic Rate (Pn), the stomatal aperture, Fv/Fm (efficient quantum), and quantum yield (light intensity/rate of photosynthesis). Salt-stressed plants can be seen from the severity by measuring the levels of Cl and Na in the roots, leaves, and chlorophyll. Plant tolerance to salinity is divided into two groups: glycophytes that are tolerant of low salt levels and halophytes that are tolerant of high salts. Salinity inhibits cell enlargement and division, increases plant mass, and increases protein and nucleic acid production. The plant adapts to saline stress, including osmotic adjustment, stress protein, free radical oxidative species (ROS) removal, ABA synthesis, and cross-adaptation. Increasing the productivity of animal feed in saline areas could be achieved in various ways by modifying water, land, chemical and biological properties, and farmer habits.

Abstract

This research discusses the effectiveness of the use of the Accreditation Instrument for Child Social Welfare Institutions (LKSA) in the West Sumbawa Regency Social Service. The objectives of this research consist of; 1) To find out the service efforts of the Child Social Welfare Institution (LKSA) in West Sumbawa Regency. 2) To analyze the effectiveness of the use of the Accreditation Instrument for Child Social Welfare Institutions (LKSA) at the West Sumbawa Regency Social Service. The research results showed that the use of the LKSA Accreditation Instrument has been effective as a reference in providing services and has had a positive impact on the development of LKSA in West Sumbawa Regency. By using the LKSA Accreditation Instrument, institutions are able to measure the quality of their services in order to improve children's welfare. Measuring the effectiveness of the use of the LKSA accreditation instrument in the West Sumbawa Regency Social Service using the Rasch Model shows that all participants are of the opinion that LKSA accreditation carried out by the West Sumbawa Regency Social Service provides additional knowledge and understanding of the substance and meaning of various legal/regulatory bases which serve as a reference in implementation. accreditation, providing additional abilities/skills in preparing accreditation. The implementation of the LKSA program at the West Sumbawa Regency Social Service using the Accreditation Instrument has been effective as a reference in providing services and has had a positive impact on the development of LKSA in West Sumbawa Regency. By using the LKSA Accreditation Instrument, institutions are able to measure the quality of their services in order to improve children's welfare

Abstract

Operasi rahang bertujuan memperbaiki struktur rahang dan gigi serta meningkatkan estetika wajah dan kepercayaan diri. Penandaan dan pengukuran akurat sangat penting untuk hasil optimal dan mengurangi risiko komplikasi, namun metode tradisional dengan dummy mahal dan memakan waktu,, menciptakan kesenjangan pengalaman antara dokter ahli dan pemula. Penelitian ini merancang sistem mixed reality (MR) untuk penandaan dan pengukuran struktur rahang, mengevaluasi akurasi dalam MR dibandingkan dunia nyata, serta mendukung klaim Unity bahwa 1 unit dalam Unity setara dengan 1 meter. Hasil menunjukkan pengukuran dalam MR dengan mode snap on pada tiga jenis benda, 2D, 3D, dan rahang atas, masing-masing memiliki persentase error 1.27%, 2.25%, dan 1,23%. Pengukuran tersebut lebih akurat dibandingkan mode snap off dengan masing-masing persentase error 3.41%, 8.77%, dan 5.73%. Mode snap on mendekati realitas, mendukung klaim Unity, dan memenuhi toleransi akurasi operasi rahang sebesar 5%. Aplikasi MR ini berhasil menciptakan pengalaman imersif dan efektif, dengan tingkat kepuasan sebesar 98.4% dan dalam aspek penandaan sebesar 89.6% dan pengukuran 91.2%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan berbagai sumber water soluble carbohydrate (WSC) terhadap kualitas silase rumput Pakchong. Perlakuan terdiri atas 3 perlakuan dimana tiap perlakuan terdapat 8 ulangan. Faktor yang diamati adalah macam sumber WSC. Perlakuan adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Rumput Pakchong dengan tanpa penambahan sumber WSC sebagai Kontrol, 2. Rumput Pakchong dengan ditambah 4% tepung tapioka, dan 3. Rumput Pakchong ditambah 4% Molasses. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah. Hasil yang berbeda nyata akan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan (Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test). Data skor kualitas fisik silase dianalisis menggunakan uji Deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa silase yang dihasilkan pada perlakuan P0 (tanpa aditif), P1 (tepung tapioka) dan P2 (molases) memiliki skor warna, bau, tekstur yang setara, namun pada penilaian gumpal dan jamur, silase pada perlakuan P1 menghasilkan skor yang cenderung lebih baik dibanding silase P0 dan P2. Bahan kering tertinggi didapatkan pada Silase P1, sedangkan pH terendah didapatkan pada silase P2. Skor Fleigh tertinggi dihasilkan oleh silase P2, sedangkan silase P1 dan P0 memiliki skor Fleigh yang setara. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa P2 memiliki kualitas silase yang lebih baik dibanding P0 dan P1. Kata kunci: Rumput Pakchong, Kualitas, Silase, Water Soluble Carbohydrate
