Abstract

This research endeavors to examine the effect of liquidity and sales growth on firm value, with capital structure as a mediating variable, focusing on companies listed in the LQ45 Index of the IDX during the 2022–2024 period. The research is motivated by the decline in the Price to Book Value (PBV) of several LQ45 companies, indicating increasing investor skepticism and the need to reassess corporate financial strategies. This quantitative research employs a causal-associative design using secondary panel data from 30 companies consistently included in the LQ45 Index for three consecutive years, producing 90 firm-year observations. Liquidity is measured using the Current Ratio (CR), sales growth using the Sales Growth Rate, capital structure using the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), and firm value using the Price to Book Value (PBV). Data were analyzed through classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, and mediation testing using the Sobel Test with the aid of SPSS. The results show that liquidity and sales growth do not have a significant direct effect on firm value. Liquidity has a significantly negative effect on capital structure, while sales growth shows no significant effect. Capital structure positively and significantly influences firm value and mediates the relationship between liquidity and firm value. However, capital structure does not mediate the effect of sales growth on firm value. These findings conclude that firm value is more strongly influenced by an optimal capital structure rather than by liquidity or sales growth alone. Therefore, companies should avoid excessive idle cash and ensure that sales growth is accompanied by improved profitability to enhance firm value.

This study aims to determine the influence of financial knowledge and financial attitude on financial behavior with self-efficacy as a mediating variable (a study on Wonokerto Market Traders, Bantur District, Malang Regency. The number of samples was 106 respondents with probability sampling techniques, and the method used was simple random sampling with data collection using questionnaires and analysis using PLS. The results showed that financial knowledge could not contribute to financial behavior, financial attitude contributed to financial behavior, self-efficacy as a mediating variable contributed to the influence of financial knowledge on financial behavior, and Self-efficacy as a mediating variable cannot contribute to the impact of financial attitude on financial behavior.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and peers on the saving behavior of students at State Universities in Surabaya through self-control. Methodology: A quantitative approach was used with 258 respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business of a state university in Surabaya, obtained through stratified random sampling. Data were collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-SEM (SmartPLS 4.0). Results: Financial literacy (β = 0.160) and peers (β = 0.252) have a positive and significant influence on saving behavior. Moreover, self-control significantly mediates the relationship between financial literacy and peers on saving behavior (β = 0.111). The model demonstrates moderate explanatory power, with R² values of 0.270 for saving behavior and 0.244 for self-control. Findings: The findings confirm that both financial literacy and peer influence are critical determinants of saving behavior, with self-control serving as a key mediating mechanism that strengthens these relationships. Novelty & Originality: This study contributes to the literature by integrating psychological and social factors in explaining saving behavior. Its originality adds a regional context by focusing on economics and business students in Surabaya, representing a group that is financially literate and knowledgeable, which has been underexplored in prior research. Conclusions: Expanding the research scope by involving students from private universities or conducting comparative studies between cities can provide new insights into differences in socioeconomic contexts. Type of Paper: This paper is a research article.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explicitly investiigates the structural impact of Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) on the Usage Intensity of the QRIS feature within the “Blu” digital banking app, with Customer Satisfaction as a mediating variable. Methodology: Using quantitative descriptive approac. Data were collected from 100 purposively sampled Blu users in Indonesia. Analysis was performed via Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to rigorously test both direct and indirect path effects. Results: Analytical results confirm that PU and PEOU significantly drive usage intensity. Notably, mediation analysis reveals that Customer Satisfaction serves as a critical intervening mechanism, significantly amplifying the relationship between functional perceptions and sustained usage behavior. Findings: The study identifies satisfaction as the primary psychological bridge ensuring that technical usability translates into long-term user engagement and higher transaction frequency.. Novelty: This study contributes to the digital banking literature by emphasizing post-adoption behavior, particularly usage intensity, within the context of spesific digital banking platform. Originality: This research contributes to the Technology Acceptance Model by shifting focus from adoption to post-adoption within the Indonesian digital—only banking sector—a context currently underrpresented in fintech literature. Conclusion: Findings suggest digital banks must optimize both system functionality and user experience (UX) to foster the satisfaction necessary for continuous usage intensity. Type of Paper: This paper is an empirical research paper.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of risk perception and digital literacy on the adoption of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), with trust as a moderating variable among Generation Z in Sidoarjo Regency. This study adopts the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as its theoretical framework. A total of 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that both risk perception and digital literacy have a positive and significant effect on the adoption of QRIS. However, trust does not significantly moderate the relationship between risk perception or digital literacy and QRIS adoption. These findings suggest that trust neither strengthens nor weakens the influence of the two independent variables on QRIS adoption among Generation Z in Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

This study explores the different impacts of e-service quality and customer experience on repurchase intention, with perceived value as a mediator, among digital consumers of Yoshinoya quick-service restaurants in Surabaya, Indonesia. Using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) on data from 148 respondents, the results show that e-service quality does not significantly affect repurchase intention (coefficient = 0.166, p = 0.120), while customer experience has a strong direct effect (coefficient = 0.405, p < 0.001). Perceived value mediates the relationship between customer experience and repurchase intention (coefficient = 0.497, p < 0.001), but not between e-service quality and repurchase intention (coefficient = 0.074, p = 0.217). This study contributes to digital service and consumer behavior literature by showing that perceived value acts as a selective mediator, enhancing the impact of customer experience while reducing the role of e-service quality in technology-based QSR environments. Practically, the findings suggest that QSR managers should view e-service quality as a basic requirement and focus on experiential strategies, such as emotional engagement, personalization, and omnichannel consistency, to improve perceived value and maintain customer loyalty in competitive digital food service markets.
