Abstract

DVC has the characteristics of lighter encoder performance by transferring the efficiency of the field of motion to the decoder. The characteristics of DVC are similar to FRUC which is a technique to improve the quality of video display from the decoder side by inserting interpolated frames. In this study, multi-resolution bilateral motion estimation based on pyramid wavelets is proposed by comparing the order of wavelets contained in the daubechies wavelet. The parameters compared in this study are PSNR and the computational complexity of the proposed method to improve the quality of the video reconstruction from the decoder side. This study shows that the use of the daubechies wavelet order in the proposed method can obtain sufficient category of PSNR values of db6 with a value of 27.37 dB for video images with moving background characteristics and moving objects, good categories of db7 and db10 with a value of 34.8 dB and 32.06 dB for video images with fixed background characteristics and moving objects, and video images with moving background characteristics and fixed objects. The selection of the wavelet order on the daubechies wavelet can be adjusted to the characteristics of the video image that will be used.

Abstract

ABSTRACT—Network traffic internet is data communication in a network characterized by a set of statistical flow with the application of a structured pattern. Structured pattern in question is the information from the packet header data. Proper classification to an Internet traffic is very important to do, especially in terms of the design of the network architecture, network management and network security. The analysis of computer network traffic is one way to know the use of the computer network communication protocol, so it can be the basis for determining the priority of Quality of Service (QoS). QoS is the basis for giving priority to analyzing the network traffic data. In this study the classification of the data capture network traffic that though the use of K-Neaerest Neighbor algorithm (K-NN). Tools used to capture network traffic that wireshark application. From the observation of the dataset and the network traffic through the calculation process using K-NN algorithm obtained a result that the value generated by the K-NN classification has a very high level of accuracy. This is evidenced by the results of calculations which reached 99.14%, ie by calculating k = 3.

Abstract

Revenue is a key indicator in determining a company's financial success, both for identifying potential profits and losses. This predictive model is designed to assist management in developing strategies to increase product sales. Accurate forecasting can provide early warnings regarding the actions store management needs to take. This study employs the Double Exponential Smoothing Brown method with a smoothing parameter alpha (?) of 0.5. The analysis results indicate that the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) values range from 0.26% to 4.29%, demonstrating a high level of accuracy. Based on these MAPE results, the predictive model is then implemented into a web-based system. This system allows management to access information anytime and anywhere. Therefore, this prediction system is expected to assist the store in making strategic decisions, particularly in managing and increasing future revenues

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology (IT), on the one hand, has the potential to increase the number of cyber attacks, so cyber security needs to be handled properly. As the weakest element, efforts are needed to increase cyber security awareness on the user side. Artificial intelligence (AI), which is increasingly developing and widely applied in various fields of life, has the potential to be used to increase security awareness in users. To study this further, a literature study, review, and mapping analysis were conducted from a number of references in order to obtain an overview of the potential and future research plans related to the use of AI in cyber security for security awareness along with providing recommendations. This study conducted a study and analysis using the mapping review method on 37 selected papers indexed by Google Scholar, referring to the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) framework. The results of the mapping review show that the mapping of publications related to the application of AI to cyber security to increase security awareness is the most in 2024, with the most trends being education/training, and the most widely used AI method is deep learning. This study recommends education and deep learning as areas that can be taken for future research related to the application of AI to cyber security.

Abstract

Toko XYZ, a retail company in Denpasar, faces challenges in managing its product stock due to the lack of utilization of consumer purchasing patterns in product placement and inventory management. As a result, products that are frequently bought together by customers often run out of stock, leading to potential sales declines. To address this issue, a purchasing pattern analysis was conducted using the association rules method with the ECLAT algorithm. The analysis was performed using Visual Studio Code with Python programming language to identify frequent 1-itemsets and frequent 2-itemsets, which represent products frequently purchased individually or in combination by customers. The analysis results show that lower minimum support values result in more frequent item sets being identified while increasing the minimum confidence, which narrows the number of generated association rules. At a minimum support of 0.05, 2463 rules were identified, whereas at a minimum support of 0.20, the number of rules decreased to 117. Higher minimum confidence, set at 60%, produced more relevant and reliable rules, demonstrating the potential of the ECLAT algorithm in aiding inventory management and optimizing product placement at Toko XYZ.

Abstract

Mangrove forests in Ngurah Rai have a very important ecological role, but public awareness of their existence and benefits is still low. This research aims to develop an android-based educational game that introduces mangrove forests to the community, especially the younger generation and tourists. The method used in this educational game application is waterfall or called system development life cycle (SDLC). This application testing stage uses the white box testing method with the base path technique of calculating the number of scenarios carried out by the user and black box testing for application functionality testing. It is hoped that this educational game can be an interesting tool to support environmental conservation efforts and increase community involvement in mangrove forest conservation and also contribute to the development of innovative learning media that integrate technology and environmental education

Abstract

Cultural heritage is increasingly fading due to the influence of globalization and social changes that shift traditional values. Digitalization is critical to addressing the degradation of cultural heritage knowledge by enabling more accessible storage and documentation and facilitating preservation and education efforts for future generations. Subak, as a unique traditional agricultural system in Bali, Indonesia, has a wealth of valuable knowledge and culture, but it is still scattered and unstructured. An ontology-based Knowledge Management System is designed to capture, organize, and utilize knowledge within a domain using ontologies as a fundamental component. Ontologies explicitly represent knowledge by providing meaning, properties, and relationships with related concepts. This paper proposes data modelling with the Ontology Development framework for the knowledge base. The methodological framework consists of knowledge externalization, including identifying and collecting knowledge based on data modelling through interviews and observations. The second steps are modelling and development of ontology, based on the knowledge that has been previously disclosed, including the hierarchical structure, properties, and relationships that form the knowledge base. The third stage is the Implementation and evaluation, which involves evaluating the quality of ontology using onto metrics and implementing the ontology into the KMS. The result of this study is data modeling for the knowledge base and the Ontology Development framework. The data modelling is a form of data mapping based on a combination of traditional philosophy and modern management principles that underlie Subak activities and artefacts, namely Tri Hita Karana, Desa Kala Patra, and POAC. The proposed framework can be a reference in developing new ontologies from scratch on unstructured cultural heritage data.

Abstract

The project-based learning model is one of the strategies used to increase student engagement and motivation, especially in supporting the development of character education. However, in its application, project learning faces challenges such as taking a long time, causing students to feel bored, and not all students are fully and evenly active in the learning process. This has an impact on the non-achievement of learning objectives in the development of character education. This study aims to identify the factors needed to improve the quality of project learning implementation for character education development. The strategy analysis used in the study uses external as well as internal factors analysis with SWOT and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). The method used in this study is a mixed method with an exploratory sequential design, which collects data qualitatively, namely through interviews and observations, which are then followed by quantitative analysis by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results show that internal factors, namely innovative and digitalized school management, are the main strengths in implementing project learning for character education development. On the other hand, external factors show significant opportunities for driving schools to support this learning while considering external threats. The top priority strategy recommended in character education development is to utilize technology for innovative learning that increases student engagement. This strategy aims to provide space for students to make progress in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The main focus in project learning is to ensure students are actively engaged, so an innovative, technology-based approach is needed that allows students to explore, think critically and develop themselves.

Abstract

Deteksi garis pantai menggunakan citra video semakin populer dalam pemantauan wilayah pesisir secara real-time. Citra video menangkap perubahan garis pantai secara dinamis, namun menghadapi tantangan seperti gangguan ombak, pencahayaan, dan objek non-pantai. Diperlukan metode yang lebih adaptif untuk meningkatkan akurasi deteksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan akurasi deteksi garis pantai dengan mengombinasikan Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) dan operasi morfologi dilasi. PSO digunakan untuk optimasi segmentasi, sementara operasi morfologi dilasi memperjelas garis tepi dan mengurangi noise. Dataset berupa video pantai dikonversi menjadi citra statis menggunakan metode Timex, lalu dikoreksi dengan georektifikasi dan kalibrasi kamera. Tahapan utama meliputi pre-processing, segmentasi dengan PSO, serta post-segmentasi menggunakan operasi morfologi dilasi. Evaluasi menggunakan metrik PSNR, SSIM, FSIM, dan CWSSIM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan akurasi deteksi secara signifikan. Segmentasi berbasis PSO memisahkan daratan dan perairan dengan lebih baik, sedangkan operasi morfologi dilasi memperkuat kontinuitas garis pantai dan mengurangi noise. Peningkatan nilai evaluasi meliputi PSNR 15,87%, SSIM 9,11%, FSIM 1,20%, dan CWSSIM 2,47%, terutama dalam kondisi pencahayaan sore hari. Dengan demikian, metode ini efektif dalam deteksi garis pantai dan direkomendasikan untuk pemantauan berbasis citra video.

Abstract

Subak, as a Balinese traditional agricultural organization, has knowledge of cultural heritage, including both explicit and tacit elements. This research aimed to develop ontology knowledge model for the digital preservation of Subak culture in the form of Knowledge Management System (KMS). The development of model was based on three main stages, including requirement analysis, ontology development, and ontology assessments. Requirement analysis included data collection through field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, while ontology development consisted of hierarchical classes, object and data properties, as well as individual entities. Furthermore, ontology assessments were the stage of evaluating and testing the resulting ontology. Protégé software was used to apply ontology model, generating Ontograph visualizations and producing Ontology Web Language (OWL). Validation was carried out using both Ontology Quality Analysis (OntoQA) and expert comments. The evaluation results showed a Relationship Richness (RR) value of 0.8, an Inheritance Richness (IR) value of 0.78, and an Attribute Richness (AR) value of 3.89, showing that ontology captured a comprehensive and representative body of knowledge. Expert comments stated that ontology model created was worthy of being used to represent Subak knowledge as a form of cultural preservation. The developed Subak ontology could serve as a foundational knowledge base for further research in related fields such as agricultural management, social organization, and cultural preservation.
