Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peningkatan kapasitas UMKM dalam menghadapi tantangan digitalisasi dan keberlanjutan. Berkah Relief Pematangsiantar, UMKM yang bergerak di bidang panel dekoratif arsitektur, dipilih karena potensinya besar namun masih dikelola secara konvensional. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memperkuat pemahaman pemilik dan karyawan terhadap bisnis digital dan ekonomi hijau. Pendekatan partisipatif dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi dan diskusi aktif yang mencakup strategi digital marketing, pemanfaatan e-commerce, dan praktik ramah lingkungan dalam usaha. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep bisnis digital dan ekonomi hijau sebesar 90%, yang diperoleh melalui kuisioner pra dan pasca pelatihan serta wawancara terstruktur. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan terintegrasi dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kapasitas UMKM dalam beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi serta mengadopsi prinsip keberlanjutan guna meningkatkan daya saing dan kelangsungan usaha.

Abstract

This research examines Indonesia's strategic reaction to global value chain (GVC) disruptions via export tariff reforms under President Prabowo Subianto's administration. This research utilises a narrative literature analysis to combine findings from peer-reviewed journals, policy documents, and institutional reports published from 2014 to 2024. The study reveals that whereas tariff liberalisation seeks to improve export competitiveness, its efficacy is limited by non-tariff barriers, deficiencies in digital infrastructure, and institutional fragmentation. Compared to regional counterparts like Vietnam and Thailand, Indonesia's inward-oriented trade policy may restrict its inclusion into high-value areas of global value chains. The investigation is confined to secondary sources, providing conceptual insights instead of causal assertions. It underscores the necessity for synchronised reforms, including logistical modernisation, digital preparedness, and conformity with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. This study enhances the discussion on trade policy adjustment in emerging economies in the context of increasing global uncertainty

Abstract

Performance at PT. Duet Pratama Samudra with Work Motivation as an Intervening Variable. The research method used is a quantitative method using the help of Smart PLS version 3.0 which is collected from the results of distributing questionnaires to employees of PT. Pratama Samudra Duet . The analysis method used in this study is to use an instrument test, namely validity and reliability tests. measurement model (outer model) namely validity test, reliability test, then structural model (inner model) includes: coefficient of determination / r-square (r2), goodness of fit model and hypothesis testing with t-statistic test and indirect effect test ( indirect effect). The results of Smart PLS 3.0 in this study are that compensation affects employee motivation, leadership affects work motivation, compensation does not affect employee performance, leadership affects employee performance, work motivation does not affect employee performance, work motivation can mediate the relationship between Compensation and Employee Performance, Work Motivation cannot mediate the relationship between Leadership and Employee Performance.

Abstract

Waste level monitoring is still often done manually, making it inefficient in preventing accumulation. Ultrasonic sensors are widely used because they are practical and affordable, but their accuracy is often affected by environmental and hardware conditions. This study aims to compare the Kalman Filter and Exponential Moving Average methods to improve the accuracy of ultrasonic sensor readings in an automated waste monitoring system. The type of research used is an experiment with a microcontroller-based system that is tested on various waste height variations. The Kalman Filter combines previous estimates with new data, while the Exponential Moving Average gives more weight to the most recent value. The performance of both methods is assessed based on measurement consistency and error rate.The data was then analyzed quantitatively using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE).The results show that the Kalman Filter produces lower errors and more stable data compared to the Exponential Moving Average or raw data. In conclusion, the Kalman Filter is more effective in improving the reliability and accuracy of the automated waste monitoring system. The implications of this research suggest that selecting the right sensor type can significantly improve system performance in detecting waste capacity in real time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Technology Availability and Perceived Ease of Use on Academic Achievement with mediating variables of Perceived Behavior, Perceived Usefulness, and Subjective Norm. A qualitative approach with an explanatory design was used in this study. The research population consists of all students at Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia who actively use technology in academic activities, with a sample of 130 respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research results show that Technology Availability has a significant positive effect on Perceived Behavioral Intention (T-Statistic 8.412; P-Value 0.000) and Perceived Usefulness (T-Statistic 3.249; P-Value 0.001). Perceived Ease of Use shows a significant positive effect on Perceived Usefulness (T-Statistic 10.875; P-Value 0.000) and Subjective Norm (T-Statistic 11.476; P-Value 0.000). These results support the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. Additionally, Perceived Behavioral Intention and Perceived Usefulness each have a significant positive effect on Academic Achievement (T-Statistic 3.382; P-Value 0.001, T-Statistic 2.422; P-Value 0.016). However, Subjective Norms do not have a direct impact on Academic Achievement. (T-Statistik 1,452; P-Value 0,147). These findings highlight the importance of technology availability and perceived ease of use in enhancing students' academic performance by meditating on behavioural intention and perceived benefits. Recommendations are given for improving access and technology training in educational environments to maximize the use of technology in learning.

Abstract

Penerapan nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam lingkungan sekolah adalah salah satu fokus utama dari Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Demokrasi, sebagai salah satu prinsip dasar dalam Pancasila, perlu ditanamkan sejak dini melalui berbagai aktivitas yang melibatkan siswa dalam pengambilan keputusan, misalnya pemilihan ketua OSIS. Namun masih terdapat praktik-praktik yang menyimpang dari prinsip-prinsip demokrasi dalam pemilihan ketua OSIS di SMP Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar. Oleh karena itu perlunya pendampingan langsung untuk implementasi nilai demokrasi. Pengabdian ini diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep dan nilai-nilai demokrasi dan partisipasi aktif dalam kehidupan berorganisasi di sekolah melalui pemilihan ketua OSIS. Pendampingan ini dilakukan terhadap 444 siswa SMP Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar pada 10 Juli – 7 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dan nilai-nilai demokrasi, nilai-nilai Pancasila dan kepemimpinan dalam berorganisasi dari 38% menjadi 92%. Kegiatan ini juga berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam praktik pemilihan yang demokratis, memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter dan Pancasila. Kesimpulannya, pendampingan P5 dengan tema demokrasi melalui pemilihan Ketua OSIS efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan praktik demokrasi di kalangan siswa SMP.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media applications and features in e-commerce involves user input on social media to facilitate online buying and selling, one of which is Shopee. Shopee is one of the e-commerce platforms that engages in customer-to-customer (C2C) transactions. However, there are still several issues on the Shopee website, including not all payment options being available, delayed chat responses from sellers, and very slow order status updates. Therefore, researchers analyze the website to help Shopee assess the website's quality by analyzing user satisfaction using the Webqual 4.0 method. Using the Webqual 4.0 method, researchers will create a questionnaire consisting of usability, information quality, and service interaction. After obtaining questionnaire results from respondents, testing will be conducted on three independent variables (X) tested against one dependent variable (Y) to determine if there is an influence between variables X and Y. All tests passed and obtained valid and reliable values. The T-test conducted yielded results for H1, which is 6.574 > 2.030, meaning that H1 is accepted, indicating an influence between H1 and Y. H2, which is 6.236 > 2.030, means that H2 is accepted, indicating an effect between H2 and Y. H3, which is 6.842 > 2.030, means that H3 is accepted, indicating an influence between H3 and Y. The F-test also resulted in H0 being accepted, meaning there is an influence between X1, X2, and X3 on Y, with the results being H1, H2, and H3 on Y being 0.000 < 0.05 and F count 22.632 > F table 3.25. Based on these results, it can be concluded that Shopee website users are satisfied with the quality of the website provided by Shopee.
