Abstract

This study produced an android-based e-module for Basic Biology course on Biotechnology material to support online learning. This study is a research and development using ADDIE model. Data were collected by using questionnaires and interviews, while the data analysis technique using qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The developed e-module was then validated by validators from teaching material experts. The readability test was carried out to 30 students. The results of this study revealed that the android-based e-module on Biotechnology material was valid. While the student readability test assessment revealed that the medium was very good. Thus, the e-module developed is feasible implemented in class for online learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video terhadap literasi lingkungan siswa pada aspek pengetahuan dan kemampuan kognitif dan mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video terhadap literasi lingkungan siswa pada aspek sikap dan perilaku materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling diperoleh kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes untuk mengukur aspek pengetahuan dan kemampuan kognitif serta angket untuk mengukur aspek sikap dan perilaku. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video pembelajaran terhadap literasi lingkungan aspek pengetahuan dan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan sub materi pencemaran air; (2) terdapat pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video pembelajaran terhadap literasi lingkungan aspek sikap dan perilaku siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan sub materi pencemaran air.   Kata  kunci: Model Pembelajaran PjBL, Video Pembelajaran, Literasi Lingkungan   ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of project-based learning model with video assistance on students' environmental literacy in the aspects of knowledge and cognitive abilities and to determine the effect of project-based learning model with video assistance on students' environmental literacy in the aspects of attitudes and behavior of environmental pollution material. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Bengkulu City. The research sample was taken using simple random sampling technique, obtained class VII A as the experimental class and class VII E as the control class. The type of research used is quasi experiment with the form of nonequivalent control group design. This research instrument uses tests to measure aspects of knowledge and cognitive abilities and questionnaires to measure aspects of attitudes and behavior. The research data showed that: (1) there is an effect of the project-based learning model with the help of learning videos on environmental literacy in the aspects of knowledge and cognitive abilities of students on environmental pollution sub-matter of water pollution; (2) there is an effect of the project-based learning model with the help of learning videos on environmental literacy in the aspects of attitudes and behavior of students on environmental pollution sub-matter of water pollution..   Keywords: PjBL Learning Model, Learning Video, Environmental Literacy

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the influence of electronic student worksheets based on STEAM and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) with local coastal wisdom content to improve the critical thinking abilities of fifth-grade students in Group V elementary schools in Bengkulu City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study comprised all elementary schools in Group V, Bengkulu City. The sample consisted of fifth-grade students from SDN 09 and 02 Bengkulu City, selected using Cluster Random Sampling. The research instrument used was a critical thinking skills test with a pretest and posttest. The data was analysed quantitatively using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. The t-test was used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05 at a 5% significance level. The average scores of the experimental class (80.28) and the control class (50.21) showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes. It can be concluded that the experimental class using electronic student worksheets based on STEAM and PjBL significantly influenced the students' critical thinking abilities. In conclusion, this study found a significant influence of electronic student worksheets based on STEAM and PjBL on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in Group V elementary schools in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Kolesterol dibutuhkan tubuh dalam jumlah tertentu, namun jika berlebihan dapat menyebabkan hiperkolesterolemia yang berisiko memicu penyakit jantung, stroke, dan gangguan kesehatan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efek anti-hiperkolesterolemia dari ekstrak pisang Barlin (Musa acuminata AA) pada mencit jantan (Mus musculus). Sebanyak 25 ekor mencit dibagi dalam lima kelompok perlakuan selama 28 hari, termasuk kelompok K (-) kontrol negatif, pakan standar, K (+) kontrol positif pakan standar, Pakan Tinggi Lemak (PTL) dengan Simvastatin 20 mg/kg BB, P(1) diberi pakan standar, PTL, ekstrak kulit M acumniata AA 0,4 mL/kg BB, P(2) diberi pakan standar, PTL, ekstrak buah M acumniata AA 0,4 mL/kg BB, dan P(3) diberi pakan standar, PTL, ekstrak kulit dengan buah M acumniata AA 0,4 mL/kg BB. Parameter yang diamati meliputi berat badan serta kadar kolesterol total (CT), trigliserida (TG), HDL, dan LDL menggunakan alat Autocheck Cholesterol Strips/ Lipid Pro. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak buah M. acuminata AA secara signifikan menurunkan CT, TG, dan LDL, serta meningkatkan HDL, dengan efek setara Simvastatin. Ekstrak kulit dan kombinasi buah dengan kulit menunjukkan efektivitas lebih rendah. Kesimpulannya ekstrak buah M. acuminata AA berpotensi sebagai agen anti-hiperkolesterolemia, diduga karena kandungan pati resisten, flavonoid, magnesium, dan saponin yang tidak ditemukan pada ekstrak kulit.

Abstract

The use of ethnomathematics puzzle games as a means of educational mathematics learning that is implemented in learning not only conveys material, but can also raise potential and culture. One of the materials implemented in the ethnomathematics puzzle game is flat geometric shapes. This research aims to develop learning media for an Android-based ethnomathematics puzzle game on flat geometric material. The method used is research and development with a 4-D development model. This research was conducted at a public junior high school in Pesawaran Regency, Lampung with a total of 183 subjects. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and tests. Data analysis used in this research uses descriptive analysis. Based on the data analysis carried out, the average product validation score for media experts was 81.0 and material experts 81.0 in the valid category. The product developed is also relatively practical, the average score of 44.5 is in the very good category. The product developed was measured using posttest and pretest scores in the experimental class and control class with an average score of 58.92 for the experimental class and 9.40 for the control class based on N-Gain Score analysis, so the ethnomathematics puzzle game is quite effective for learning.

Abstract

Abstract - Adaptive learning systems adapt instructional materials to students' needs through personalized learning paths, changing the layout interface, or hiding some material links. The System Usability Scale (SUS) focuses on developing a usability assessment for an adaptive education system, using an approach that asks users to evaluate web pages. This research was conducted with first-semester students in the Computer Programming subject from the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Bengkulu. Based on the SUS calculation, the application achieved a score of 75.08. This result falls within the 68-80.3 range, placing the program product at the "Good" level. This indicates that overall user satisfaction with the adaptive online learning system is acceptable. However, there are some areas that require repairs, especially those related to inconsistent functionality and user convenience. Further study can continue to use Concurrent Think Aloud (CTA) and test scenarios for each use case to gain insight into user behavior as users interact with the application in the moment.Keywords: Evaluation; Online Learning Systems; Adaptive; System Usability Scale; Abstrak - Sistem pembelajaran daring adaptif menyesuaikan materi pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan siswa melalui jalur pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi, mengubah tata letak antarmuka, atau menyembunyikan beberapa tautan. Metode System Usability Scale (SUS) berfokus pada pengembangan sistem penilaian kegunaan untuk sistem pendidikan daring adaptif, menggunakan pendekatan yang meminta pengguna untuk mengevaluasi halaman web. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester pertama program studi Ilmu Komputer dan Pemrograman Program Studi Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Bengkulu. Hasil perhitungan SUS menghasilkan skor 75,08. Hasil ini berada dalam kisaran 68 hingga 80,3, menempatkan produk program pada tingkat "Baik". Ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pengguna secara keseluruhan terhadap sistem pembelajaran daring adaptif dapat diterima. Namun, ada beberapa area yang perlu ditingkatkan, khususnya mengenai inkonsistensi dalam fungsionalitas dan kemudahan penggunaan. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat menggunakan Concurrent Think Aloud (CTA) dan skenario pengujian untuk setiap kasus penggunaan untuk mendapatkan wawasan yang lebih dalam tentang perilaku pengguna saat berinteraksi dengan aplikasi.Kata kunci: Evaluasi; Sistem Pembelajaran Daring; Adaptif; System Usability Scale;

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah mendorong peningkatan kompetensi guru, khususnya dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pendampingan guru SD dalam penggunaan aplikasi Canva untuk menciptakan multimedia interaktif berbasis model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT). Model ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam mengembangkan materi, tetapi juga membantu siswa berpartisipasi aktif dalam proses belajar, khususnya pada pembelajaran IPA. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi guna mendukung literasi sains siswa. Melalui pelatihan ini, guru diharapkan dapat menciptakan kondisi belajar yang inovatif, mendorong literasi sains yang lebih baik di kalangan siswa, serta berkontribusi pada pendidikan yang sesuai dengan tuntutan abad ke-21.

Abstract

This study aims to develop assessment instruments in basic education within a master’s degree program with a focus on improving student competencies. The methodology employed is Research and Development (R&D) utilizing the ADDIE approach, specifically targeting the evaluation stage. Data were collected through a Likert scale in the form of posttest evaluations of 25 master’s students in Basic Education. Results indicated an average posttest score of 73.41, with variance reflecting student achievement diversity. Most students demonstrated a good understanding across knowledge, attitude, and skill aspects. Hypothesis analysis utilizing a one-sample t-test revealed significance at p=0.000, indicating a significant positive effect on students’ ability to construct assessment instruments. In conclusion, the appropriate use of evaluative teaching materials can enhance pedagogical competencies, supporting the development of educational quality at the postgraduate level.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian dalam pendidikan dasar pada program S-2 dengan fokus pada peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan ADDIE yang dikhususkan pada tahap evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala Likert berupa penilaian posttest terhadap 25 mahasiswa S-2 Pendidikan Dasar. Analisis hipotesis menggunakan one-sample t-test menunjukkan signifikansi p=0,000, menandakan adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan bahan ajar evaluasi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis mahasiswa, mendukung pengembangan kualitas pendidikan di jenjang pascasarjana.

Abstract

Integrating technology is very important to carry out learning in this era. In addition, literacy improvement continues to be encouraged to improve students' literacy skills, including through social studies learning in the classroom. This study aims to describe the presentation of social studies books for class V which is reviewed from the aspects of the literacy model, orientation, collaboration and reflection stages. In addition, it also reviews aspects of integrating technology through the learning process presented in the book. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with key instruments, namely the researcher with an analysis guideline. The research was carried out with an analysis sheet through a qualitative descriptive approach with data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. Data collection was carried out using document analysis with stages of data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that there is no integration of technology presented in the IPAS book of social studies materials, and the lack of specific stages of the LOK-R (Literacy, Orientation, Collaboration and Reflection) model that can help students develop their literacy, so it can be concluded that it is very important to carry out the electronic development of teaching materials based on the LOK-R model for elementary school students.Pengintegrasian teknologi begitu penting untuk menyelenggarakan pembelajaran di era ini. Selain itu, peningkatan literasi terus digalakkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berliterasi termasuk melalui pembelajaran IPS di kelas. Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mendeskripsikan sajian buku IPAS materi IPS kelas V yang ditinjau dari aspek tahapan model literasi, orientasi, kolaborasi dan refleksi. Selain itu juga meninjau terkait aspek pengintegrasian teknologi melalui proses pembelajaran yang disajikan dalam buku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen kunci yaitu peneliti dengan lembar pedoman analisis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan lembar analisis melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data berupa analisis isi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan analisis dokumen dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya pengintegrasian teknologi yang disajikan dalam buku IPAS materi IPS, dan minimnya tahapan model LOK-R (Literasi, Orientasi, Kolaborasi dan Refleksi) secara spesifik yang dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan literasinya, sehingga dapat disimpulkan sangat penting untuk dilakukan pengembangan elektronik bahan ajar berbasis model LOK-R untuk siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan ajar evaluasi pendidikan berbasis kasus dapat mengakomodasi terjadinya peningkatan keterampilan mahasiswa menyusun instrumen penilaian autentik aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan.Tujuan penelitian tahun pertama, yakni: (1) Mendeskripsikan lingkup materi bahan ajar evaluasi pendidikan, pemahaman awal mahasiswa tentang instrumen penilaian autentik, desain bahan ajar  evaluasi pendidikan berbasis kasus. Metode penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dengan model Analysis, Desain, Develop, Implementation, dan Evaluation (ADDIE). Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa S2 Pendidikan Dasar tahun 2023 JIP FKIP UNIB.  Instrumen penelitian lembar analisis dokumen, kuesioner dan tes kemampuan awal. Teknik pengumpulan data member check, observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1)  tahap analisis untuk memetakan lingkup materi ajar mata kuliah evaluasi pendidikan; dan (2) tahap desain adalah rancangan sistematika bahan ajar evaluasi pendidikan berbasis kasus. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemahaman awal mahasiswa menunjukkan nilai tertinggi pada aspek tujuan dan lingkup penilaian hasil belajar aspek sikap/afektif dan pemahaman terendah pada aspek prosedur penyusunan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan/kognitif.
