Abstract

Research aim : The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of investment decisions and funding decisions on firm value and the moderating relationship of interest rates in influencing the strength or weakness of the relationship between investment decisions and funding decisions on firm value. Design/Methode/Approach : This study used a sample of property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2021 as many as 7 companies with a total sample of 84 financial reports obtained using the purposive sampling method. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the analysis tool IMB SPSS ver.21. Research Finding : Based on the study's results, investment decisions are positively but insignificantly affecting firm value, while funding decisions significantly negatively impact firm value, interest rates do not moderate the relationship between investment decisions and firm value, and interest rates do not moderate the relationship between funding decisions and firm value. Theoretical contribution/Originality : The objective of this study was to investigate whether or not interest rates influence the weak or strong relationship between investment decisions and funding decisions and company value, and to determine whether or not interest rates play a role Practitionel/Policy implication : - Research limitation : The research only focuses on property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesian IDX in 2019-2021

Abstract

Culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) such as Warmindo face major challenges in the form of limited digital marketing and manual and inefficient financial management, hampering business growth in the digital economy. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of MSMEs through training and mentoring on Instagram-based digital marketing, as well as financial recording using a digital bookkeeping application. The methods used include training, hands-on practice, and ongoing mentoring. The activity partners are the managers of Warmindo Sumulur and Warmindo Muda Mudi. For financial management, the Bukuwarung application is used, which has a feature for systematically recording daily and monthly income and expenses. The results of the activity indicate an increase in MSMEs' understanding of cash book preparation and an increase in partners' interest and ability to implement digital financial bookkeeping. Prior to the activity, partners still relied on manual recording, which was ineffective and risky. After the training and mentoring, MSMEs were able to use the Bukuwarung application as a tool for digital and sustainable financial recording. The implications of this activity are increased financial management efficiency, cash flow transparency, and MSME readiness to adopt digital technology to support business decision-making and business sustainability in the digital economy era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the interconnection between the values of Civic Education (PKn) and the principles of Sharia economics in the development of young entrepreneurs in the digital era, where digital transformation opens broad entrepreneurial opportunities through online platforms while simultaneously presenting challenges such as unhealthy competition, lack of transparency, and declining integrity in business practices. Using a literature review method, this research analyzes various theoretical sources related to Civic Education values, civic ethics, Sharia economic principles, and digital entrepreneurship. The findings indicate that Civic Education values—such as responsibility, honesty, legal awareness, and social concern—play a significant role in shaping the ethical character of young entrepreneurs, while Sharia economic principles, including justice, halal orientation, and the prohibition of gharar, reinforce fair, transparent, and accountable digital business practices. The integration of these two frameworks provides a comprehensive ethical foundation that supports the development of young entrepreneurs who are not only economically capable but also possess strong moral character and a commitment to the public good, thereby contributing to a sustainable and ethical digital entrepreneurship ecosystem

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of company age, audit opinion, and company size on audit delay (an empirical study of manufacturing companies in the miscellaneous industry sub-sector from 2021 to 2023). The population of this study was all manufacturing companies in the miscellaneous industry sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data analysis used the SPSS application. The results of this study indicate that company age partially significantly influences audit delay in manufacturing companies in the miscellaneous industry sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021-2023. The results of this study indicate that audit opinion partially does not significantly influence audit delay in manufacturing companies in the miscellaneous industry sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021-2023. The results of this study indicate that company size partially significantly influences audit delay in manufacturing companies in the miscellaneous industry sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021-2023.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of financial performance and good corporate governance mechanism on the timeliness of financial report submission in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022-2024. The population of this study was all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022-2024. The sample of this study was taken using a purposive sumption technique. The analysis tool used Based on the data analysis and discussion that have been done previously, it can be concluded as follows, profitability does not affect the timeliness of financial reporting in manufacturing sector companies in the basic and chemical industry subsectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022-2024. Managerial ownership has no effect on the timeliness of financial reporting in manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2022-2024 period. Audit quality has no effect on the timeliness of financial reporting in manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2022-2024 period.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower members of the PKK women’s group through the transfer of technology in processing virgin coconut oil (VCO) into herbal balm products, accompanied by business financial management mentoring to promote economic self-reliance in Padukuhan Kenteng, Gunungkidul. The program was implemented using a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, with activities comprising counseling sessions, training, and mentoring. Program evaluation employed structured pre-test and post-test questionnaires, supported by observations of practical activities and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive and comparative methods, as well as qualitative analysis. Based on the program outcomes, all training components demonstrated significant improvement following the intervention. Participants’ understanding and skills in coconut utilization, VCO production, and herbal balm processing increased from approximately 25–45% prior to the program to around 85–90% after its implementation. Meanwhile, competencies in financial management, including the calculation of cost of production and pricing strategies, also improved from approximately 50–55% to 90–95%, indicating the effectiveness of the program in enhancing both technical and managerial capacities. Overall, this activity is expected to foster community empowerment that ultimately leads to increased household income and family economic independence.

Abstract

This study examines the construction of postcolonial identity in contemporary English literature by employing a qualitative descriptive approach through close textual analysis. Focusing on selected literary works by postcolonial authors, the research explores how identity is represented as fluid, hybrid, and continuously negotiated within narratives shaped by migration, diaspora, and cultural displacement. Drawing on postcolonial theory, particularly the concepts of hybridity, otherness, and the “third space,” the analysis reveals that literary texts portray identity not as a fixed essence but as a dynamic process influenced by historical colonial legacies and contemporary global conditions. The findings indicate that experiences of diaspora and linguistic negotiation play a significant role in shaping postcolonial subjectivity, enabling characters to construct adaptive and plural forms of belonging. By integrating theoretical perspectives with close textual reading, this study contributes to English literary scholarship by reaffirming the relevance of postcolonial theory in interpreting contemporary literary representations of identity in a globalized world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal, biaya produksi, serta lama usaha terhadap kinerja Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kabupaten Sleman. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 58 pelaku UMKM dipilih melalui purposive sampling sesuai kriteria kelayakan usaha. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda yang diawali dengan uji asumsi klasik, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan dan uji t. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa modal berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM, biaya produksi tidak menunjukkan berpengaruh signifikan, sedangkan lama usaha berpengaruh negatif signifikan. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa besarnya modal tidak selalu meningkatkan kinerja bila tidak dikelola dengan baik, dan lamanya usaha tanpa adanya inovasi justru dapat memperlambat perkembangan kinerja. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini menekankan pentingnya efisiensi pengelolaan modal, evaluasi biaya, serta inovasi dalam keberlangsungan usaha. Penelitian ini memberikan masukan bagi pemangku kepentingan dalam merancang program pendampingan yang lebih tepat sasaran serta menjadi dasar referensi penelitian mendatang.

Abstract

Studi ini dimaksudkan guna mengetahui pengaruh litersi keuangan, modal usaha, pengelolaan keuangan, serta kinerja UMKM di  wilayah Kabupaten Sleman. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data primer, studi ini menerapkan teori Resource-Based View (RBV)  sebagai  landasan untuk  memahami  fenomena  tersebut. Data  utama  diperoleh lewat survei kuesioner yang disebarkan ke 100 pelaku UMKM di Sleman, dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan melalui Regresi Linier   Berganda   serta   uji   hipotesis   parsial   (t-test)   memakai   software   SPSS.   Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa secara individu, literasi keuangan tidak berpengaruh pada kinerja UMKM, yang  berarti  kurangnya literasi keuangan mempengaruhi kinerja suatu usaha.  Modal usaha  tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja UMKM, yang berarti ketersediaan  dana  saja  belum  cukup  tanpa  pengelolaan  yang  baik. Di sisi lain, pengelolaan keuangan terbukti berpengaruh pada kinerja UMKM, menegaskan bahwa kemampuan mengelola keuangan dapat membuat suatu usaha terus beroperasi karena ini kunci utama bagi kelangsungan dan perkembangan bisnis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap kinerja keuangan yang diproksikan dengan ROA pada perusahaan perbankan konvensional yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2022–2024. Sampel ditentukan dengan purposive sampling dan menghasilkan 15 bank, sehingga total observasi sebanyak 45 data tahunan. Data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan diolah menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan uji asumsi klasik, uji t, dan uji F, serta koefisien determinasi (adjusted R² sebagai indikator kemampuan model menjelaskan variasi ROA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA (nilai signifikansi uji t > 0,05), begitu pula kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA (nilai signifikansi uji t > 0,05). Secara simultan, kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusional juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA karena nilai signifikansi uji F lebih besar dari 0,05. Nilai adjusted R² yang hanya sekitar 3,37% menunjukkan bahwa variasi ROA perbankan pada periode 2022–2024 jauh lebih banyak ditentukan oleh faktor lain di luar struktur kepemilikan, seperti kualitas aset, efisiensi biaya, dan margin bunga bersih. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusional berfungsi lebih sebagai mekanisme tata kelola daripada penentu langsung profitabilitas bank.
