Abstract

Digital transformation in schools has become a strategic necessity to improve the quality of learning services, governance, and competitiveness of educational institutions. This study aims to analyze appropriate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) management strategies to support the acceleration of digital transformation at SMP Negeri 1 Bolaang. The research method uses a literature review by analyzing empirical findings and current theories regarding ICT management, digital transformation, technology governance, and digital leadership. The results of the study indicate that the success of digital transformation in schools is largely determined by strategic ICT planning aligned with the school's vision, strengthening digital infrastructure, improving the digital competence of teachers and education personnel, implementing good digital governance, and participatory change management. This study confirms that a structured and holistic ICT management approach can improve administrative efficiency, learning quality, and data-driven decision-making at SMP Negeri 1 Bolaang. Research recommendations include increasing human resource capacity, establishing a school digital transformation unit, and utilizing a collaborative ecosystem to accelerate digitalization.

Abstract

This study aims to see the improvement of student learning outcomes in the subject of applying EKTS (Electrical Control Techniques Simulator) software in the subject of Electric Motor Installation of class XI TITL SMKS Kristen 1 Tomohon. Electrical control techniques simulator is a simulator software that can be used to design electromechanical systems. This software provides various kinds of electromechanical systems that use relays, time relays, buttons, motors, switches, and various basic mechanical systems. This study seeks to make students' understanding of electric motor installation circuits more understandable and can be understood clearly so that there are no more doubts and fears when practicing them which can cause poor student learning outcomes. There are three circuits used in this study, namely the DOL (Direct On Line) circuit, Forward-Reverse and Star Delta circuits. From these three circuits, researchers can see the extent to which students' understanding of electric motor installations. This research will be conducted at SMKS Kristen 1 Tomohon. Which is addressed at Jl. Tomohon - Tondano No. 158, Matani Satu, Kec. Tomohon Tengah, Tomohon City, North Sulawesi Province. The current type of research uses experimental research, namely True Experimental research (pure experiment), namely experiments that follow procedures and meet the requirements of experiments, especially those related to controlling variables, control groups, providing treatment or manipulating activities and testing results. With the Two Group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TITL II SMKS Kristen 1 Tomohon. The data obtained were analyzed using hypothesis testing. With this study, the average pre-test was 62.86 and the average post-test score was 82.86. The results of this study indicate an increase in learning outcomes for electric motor installation lessons in class XI TITL II SMKS Kristen 1 Tomohon.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has introduced new opportunities for transforming higher education, particularly in digital learning, academic management, and scientific research. AI enables real-time learning data analysis, personalized learning materials tailored to student needs, and automation of administrative tasks. This structured literature review explores AI implementation, benefits, and challenges in higher education. The findings indicate that adaptive learning systems, learning analytics, intelligent tutoring systems, and AI-driven chatbots enhance learning effectiveness and support academic decision-making. However, issues such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and limited AI literacy remain significant obstacles. Responsible integration of AI requires strong policy frameworks, institutional readiness, and transparent system design.

Abstract

As education is rapidly changing with technology, training teachers digitally has been established as a key ingredient to their lifelong learning. The application of Ruang Guru Learning Management System (LMS) is a medium for training school teachers such as senior high vocational schools to code and artificial intelligence (AI) in all districts and municipalities in North Sulawesi. The purpose of this study is to investigate the levels of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, digital self-efficacy and teacher readiness in participating LMS-based training. We used a quantitative description method in which we surveyed teachers who attended the coding and AI training through Ruang Guru LMS. Four-point Likert-scale questions were used to measure four constructs: ease of use, usefulness, digital self-efficacy and readiness for digital training. Descriptive statistics were used in the analysis of data. Based on the result, teachers considered that Ruang Guru LMS was easy to use and they felt it assisted them in increasing their technological skills. Their digital self-efficacy scores were between good and very good, signifying a high level of readiness for digital training. The study also signifies a need to enhance teachers’ digital skills, school infrastructure and LMS functionalities so as to ensure meaningful and sustainable digital training program.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages transformation across various sectors, including education. Adaptive learning based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an innovation that enables the teaching and learning process to take place in a personalized, dynamic manner, and aligned with students’ characteristics. This article discusses the implementation of AI-based adaptive learning as a strategy to improve learning effectiveness through learning needs analysis, curriculum differentiation, and the use of data as the basis for learning recommendations. The research method employed is a literature study by reviewing recent journals and scientific publications. The findings show that AI-based adaptive learning can increase learning motivation, independence, and learning achievement through the delivery of materials aligned with students’ competency levels, learning styles, and learning pace. In conclusion, this innovation becomes a potential solution for improving the quality of education in the digital era, provided that technological infrastructure, teacher readiness, and students’ digital literacy are adequately supported.
