Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model Think Talk Write di kelas IV SDN 01 Pancung Soal. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdapat tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan 21 orang peserta didik kelas IV. Hasil penelitian pada modul ajar di siklus I memperoleh nilai dengan rata-rata 85,4 Baik (B), kemudian meningkat pada Siklus II yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 95,83 Sangat Baik (SB). Penilaian aspek guru siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 85 Baik (B), meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 95 Sangat Baik (SB). Penilaian aspek peserta didik pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 85 Baik (B), meningkatkan pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 95 Sangat Baik (SB). Penilaian aspek pengetahuan siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 69,05 (D), meningkat pada siklus II dengan rata-rata 87,62 (B). Penilaian aspek keterampilan siklus I dengan rata-rata 70,11 Cukup (C), meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 87,06 Baik (B). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Think Talk Write dapat menigkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik. Penyebabnya adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran dan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) di kelas V SDN 18 Tebing Tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan kuantitatif. Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri dari 1 pertemuan. Disetiap siklus meliputi empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas V SDN 18 Tebing Tinggi dengan jumlah 24 peserta didik, 10 peserta didik laki-laki dan 14 peserta didik perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan pada: a) Modul Ajar siklus I dengan rata-rata 81,25% (baik), dan siklus II 95,8% (Sangat Baik), b) Pelaksanaan pada aspek guru siklus I dengan rata-rata 87,5% (sangat baik), dan siklus II 95% (sangat baik), sedangkan pada aspek peserta didik siklus I dengan rata-rata 87,5% (sangat baik), dan siklus II 95% (sangat baik), c) Penilaian terhadap peserta didik pada siklus I pertemuan1 rata-rata 76,7, pertemuan 2 rata-rata 81,0 dan siklus II dengan rata-rata 85,9. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik.

Abstract

One of the factors that causes low student scores includes a lack of encouragement for students to develop thinking skills. Increasing students' understanding can be done by integrating ICT using the Role Playing method, because students can demonstrate learning material directly by playing roles with the help of ICT. Therefore, this research aims to explain how to improve student learning outcomes by using the Role Playing method. This research uses quantitative methods with a classroom action research approach. Data sources were taken using questionnaires and oral tests on 22 people consisting of 12 male students and 10 female students. Overall, the research results show that the use of the role playing method shows quite significant improvements, especially in the cognitive domain. Therefore, integrating ICT using role playing is an alternative in improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning methods are one of the determining factors in achieving student learning competency. With the right method, the competencies expected in learning become easier to achieve. This also applies to learning Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools. One effective method that can be used for learning the Quran and Hadith material is the Tikrar method. This research aims to analyze the effect of using the Tikrar method in improving elementary school students' ability to memorize the Quran. This research uses a Classroom Action Research design with two cycles, which was carried out in one elementary school in Indonesia. Research data was taken from teachers and nineteen students, with data collection techniques through observation and tests. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed a significant increase in students' memorization competence, where the cumulative daily test scores increased from 45% to 94.74%. These findings prove that the Tikrar method is effective in improving students' memorization abilities in the Quran and Hadith subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students' reading comprehension skills through the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in two cycles with the research subject of grade V students of UPTD SDN 03 Simalanggang, which consisted of 20 students. The results of the research conducted showed an increase in cycle I to cycle II, namely the percentage of average assessment of teaching modules in cycle I meeting 1 was 82%, cycle I meeting 2 increased to 89%, and in cycle II it increased to 96%. The average assessment percentage of teacher aspects in cycle I meeting 1 was 75%, cycle I meeting 2 increased to 83%, and in cycle II it increased to 96%. The average assessment percentage of student aspects in the first cycle of meeting 1 was 82%, the first cycle of meeting 2 increased to 85%, and in the second cycle it increased to 96%. The average assessment of students' reading comprehension skills in the first cycle of meeting 1 was 70.75, the first cycle of meeting 2 increased to 80.32, and in the second cycle it increased to 90.2. Thus, the implementation of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy can improve students' reading comprehension skills in elementary schools

Abstract

This research aims to improve narrative text writing skills using a picture and picture type cooperative learning model in grade IV of SD Laboratory Development, State University of Padang. This research was carried out in two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of the study is a student in grade IV of SD Laboratory Development, State University of Padang, with data collected through test and non-test techniques, while the research instrument is through test sheets and non-test. The results show that the use of the Picture and Picture Type Cooperative Learning model can significantly improve narrative text writing skills. In the first cycle, the average score in the aspect of the Teaching Module 90 with qualification (A), increased in the second cycle, namely obtaining an average of 95 with qualification (A), so it can be said that learning planning in the form of the Teaching Module cycle I to cycle II has increased. The results of the observation of the teacher aspect and the student aspect of the first cycle of the first meeting obtained the same score, namely 86.11 with good qualifications (B) and increased in the first cycle of the second meeting to 88.88 in the aspect of teachers and students. The average score for teacher and student activities in the first cycle of meetings I and II was 87.49 with a Good qualification (B). Then in the second cycle, scores for teacher activities were obtained 97.22 and student activities were 97.22 with very good qualifications (A).

Abstract

Mathematics is often viewed by many elementary school students as a difficult subject. This is because if it is only taught in the lecture method, the material is abstract and not very interesting. To overcome this, the use of interactive learning media is a promising solution. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which interactive media affects mathematics learning outcomes in elementary school and what factors support its success. The method used is literature study research by collecting and analyzing various related research findings. The findings of this study indicate that interactive media such as animation, educational applications, digital games and other visual media can help to better understand the material, increase enthusiasm for learning, and promote active participation in the learning process. In addition, most of the studies analyzed showed an increase in students' academic reviews after using interactive media compared to traditional learning methods. The success of using this media is also greatly influenced by teacher motivation, institutions available at school, and the suitability of the media to student needs. Therefore, it is important for teachers to choose the right media and remain innovative. This will make the mathematics learning process more interesting and easier for students.

Abstract

Children's cultural awareness may diminish if not introduced early, leading to a lack of appreciation for local traditions. This study addresses this issue by developing a culturally enriched storybook to enhance elementary school students' understanding of Minangkabau culture. The research aims to develop and evaluate an Indonesian-language children's storybook that integrates digital reading media with video access to improve students' cultural awareness and literacy skills. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method by Borg and Gall, consisting of preliminary analysis, storybook development, expert validation, limited and broader trials, experimental testing, and dissemination. The research was conducted at SDN 11 Bukit Apit Puhun, Bukittinggi, involving 29 fourth-grade students as subjects. Data collection included expert validation, student and teacher assessments, and effectiveness testing using a normal gain score. The storybook Rofa dan Randai received high validity ratings in terms of graphics, linguistics, and content, with minor revisions suggested. Practicality tests indicate that educators and students found the storybook highly usable. Effectiveness analysis showed moderate improvements in students' cultural understanding and literacy skills. Students demonstrated better comprehension of cultural messages, enhanced reading skills, and improved ability to identify main ideas within the stories. These findings confirm that the developed storybook is a valuable tool for fostering both cultural awareness and literacy in young learners.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural adalah pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan keberagaman budaya dalam proses pembelajaran untuk membangun kesadaran sosial siswa. Artikel ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam membangun kesadaran sosial siswa sekolah dasar berdasarkan penelitian dan publikasi dalam lima tahun terakhir yang terindeks SINTA. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif dengan menggunakan tinjauan pustaka terhadap 21 artikel yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish untuk mengidentifikasi tren dan temuan utama. Isi muatan pendidikan multikultural pada sekolah dasar dirancang berdasarkan dengan perkembangan budaya dan cerimanan karakter bangsa, yang mana bertujuan guna memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta didik bahwa pentingnya memiliki sikap, pandangan, dan tingkah laku yang mencerminkan seseorang yang menghargai perbedaan budaya sehingga dapat menumbuhkan rasa toleransi antar sesamanya. Hasil tinjauan literatur menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa cara dalam pengimplementasian pendidikan multicultural dalam meningkatkan kesadaran social siswa, seperti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, peran orang tua, dukungan dari guru dan kepala sekolah, metode pembelajaran CTL, dll. Selain itu, dengan memperkenalkan keberagaman budaya tersebut oleh guru akan dapat memberikan gambaran kepada peserta didik bagaimana konsep multikultural dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan multikultural dapat meningkatkan kesadaran social siswa melalui berbagai pendekatan.
