Abstract

Abstract This research aimed at describing the improvement of students learning outcomes in reading musical notations in songs by using pianika and rekorder at the class of VII.7 of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. The design of this research was class action research. The objects of this research were 30 students of class VII.7 SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. From the data analysis, it was found that there was an improvement on students learning outcomes. It was seen from their learning outcomes average scores. In the first cycle, the average score was 47.3. In the second cycle, it increased into 70.6 while the intended average score was only 70. From the findings, it was concluded that the use of pianika dan rekorder improved students learning outcomes in reading musical notations in songs. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Membaca Notasi Balok, Alat Musik,  Pianika dan Rekorder.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe an improvement in students’ learning outcomes through cooperative learning in dance learning in class VIII 5 of SMP 25 Padang. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research. The procedure of this study consisted of 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The research instrument was a knowledge test and a skill test. The techniques of data data collection were carried out by means of knowledge tests, skills tests and observations. Student completeness data were analyzed using individual and group completeness criteria with minimum completeness criteria of 70%. The results showed that through cooperative learning, students’ learning outcomes could be. It could be seen in the average value from cycle 1 to cycle 2. On the first cycle, there was an average value of 64.5 students with the number of completeness of 14 students (43.75%) from 32 students, and those who did not complete 18 students (56.25%) or under KKM (70). For the second cycle, the learning outcomes of the students' average score were 79 with the percentage of students who scored above 70 increased to 27 students (84.38%), and students who scored below 70 decreased to 5 students (15.62%). Thus, cooperative learning improves dance learning outcomes in class VIII.5 of SMPN 25 Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the strategies used in the learning of dance arts at Sma Negeri 8 Padang. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach to analysis. The object of this study is and Mrs. Yetnimasnen, S.Pd. and students of class X IPA 3 Sma Negeri 8 Padang numbering 40 people using primary and secondary data types. The data collection techniques used in this study use library study techniques, interviews, observations, and documentation. The technical data analysis in this study is to identify data, classify data, clarify data, describe data, analyze data, and conclude. The result of this study is that cultural arts teachers do not apply learning strategies in accordance with the design of learning implementation (RPP) on the implementation of dance arts learning, this has an impact on students' learning outcomes that are less good and the learning atmosphere is less conducive and not interactive. Learning strategies that are not appropriate, affect the evaluation of learners who have not been able to achieve KD and the learning goals that have been set.

Abstract

Abstract   Purpose of this research was to reveal the relation of movement selection as intructional materials in accordance with the student’s character with the interest of male students in learning to dance. Data were collected by using qualitative methods, in which the research produced written or oral information from the people, and observing their behavior. Research finding showed that suffle dance moves as material selection which has assertive, strong, and firmly can increase the interest of male students. It can be proved that at the last meeting the students’ want achieved 68.2 %, students’ attention 27.3 % and students’ participation 77.3 %. It can be said that whenever the material selection is in accordance with the learners’ characteristics, therefore, it will give good achievement.

Abstract

This article aimed to explain and describe about the improvement of learning the dance art in students by using peer tutor method in class XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang. The type of this research was classroom action research which was conducted as much as 2 cycles. The subject was the students of grade XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang which amounted to 23 people. The data were collected by using observation sheets of the skills as well as documentation for the research. The results of this research showed that learning the art of dance using peer tutor method succeeded to improve the students’ learning outcomes at class XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang. This was evidenced on improving students’ activities and student learning outcomes on cycle I and cycle II which increased primely. On cycle I, the overall student positive activities were 38,64% and student negative activities were 16,89%. While, on cycle II student positive activites were 63,03% and student negative activities were  11,58%. The overall of students’ learning outcomes on cycle 1 was  55,21, meanwhile on cycle II, it has been risen to 80,21. Thus, the use of peer tutor method to enhance the outcomes in learning dance art in class XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang has already achieved very well.

Abstract

AbstractThis article the aim  to describe students’ learning outcome in learning dance at grade XI IPS 2 of SMA 1 Pulau Punjung. It was assumed that using conventional teaching method led to low outcome of students’ result. The design of this study was classroom action research by using descriptive method to describe the action and the reaction which occurred in the field. The data were attained by using observation sheet and test for students who learnt by using cooperative learning method. The test included students’ ability in using body, sense, and rhythm with indicators of motion accuracy, movement memorization, expression in dance and precision of musical accompaniment and movement. The data were analyzed by using percentage formula, discussion and conclusion. The result showed that the implementation of cooperative learning method was able to improve students’ learning outcome. In cycle I the average score was 61.29% and in cycle II the average score was 82.59%. Therefore, cooperative learning method can be used to improve students’ learning outcome in learning dance at SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung.Keywords: Learning outcomes, Method, Dance

Abstract

Abstract This article aimend at describing strategies which were used by teacher to develop students’ creativities at SMA Negeri Payakumbuh. The design of this research was qualitative. The method used was the descriptive method. The objects of this research were strategies applied by teachers in the learning process of dancing. The main instrument of the research was the researcher. The data were obtained from observation, interview, and literature review. They were analyzed by using the phenomenology technique. Based on the data analysis, it was found that there were variouseffective strategies in learning dancing such as giving lectures question and answer, providing the students with demonstration, and cooperative learning method. These strategies developed the students’ creativities well. It was seen from students’ creative imagination in developing the basic moves of Tari Rantak. Besides, the use of appropriate audio visual media also stimulated the students so that their learning motivation became higher as well as provided them with new experiences to advance the learning processes. Abstract

This research aims to reveal and describe the structure of Gerak Silek Gelombang Sanggar Tunas Harapan Nagari Aua Kuniang Pasaman Barat. This type of research is qualitative research using content analysis methods. The data type uses primary data and secondary data. The main instrument in this study was the researcher himself and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, camera and flash drive. Data collection techniques are done by means of library studies, observations, interviews, documentation. The steps of analyzing data are collecting data, describing data and concluding data. The results showed that the structure of dance motion galombang silek is analyzed with three stages consisting of the system of relationships between basic elements, grammatical hierarchical relationships and syntagmatic and paradigmatic relationship systems. The relationship between the basic elements of silek galombang dance, has a basic element that relates to attitudes and motions on the head, body, hands and feet that produce motifs that overlap and alternate attitudes. Grammatical hierarchical relationship in silek galombang dance consists of 47 motifs with 27 forms of basic motifs, phrases as many as 23 phrases, sentences as many as 9 sentences and 1 cluster. In this dance there is a syntagmatic relationship system in which this dance can not be reversed because every motion is bound and overlapping and there are also paradigmatic relationships on some motifs where this dance can be reversed.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes by using audiovisual media in dance art subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Mutiara. The type of research was classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Mutiara which were 33 students. Data collection instruments used was observation sheets, field notes, and knowledge (Cognitive) and skills (Psychomotor) test results. The results of this study indicate that learning using audiovisual media succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Mutiara. It is proved by the improvement of student learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II where there is a very good improvement. In the first cycle, the results of the skills test (psychomotor) were 65.15%. As well as the results of the first cycle test for knowledge (cognitive) tests for learning outcomes the test showed 60.76%. Cycle II of learning test results on the skills test (psychomotor) is 82.42%. As well as the second cycle test for knowledge (cognitive) is 80.45%. Thus the use of audiovisual media improves learning outcomes in dance art learning in 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Mutiara very well. Keywords: Increases, Learning Results, Dance, Audio Visual Media

Abstract

Abstract The Dance Lessson is one of lesson in SD YPPI Perawang Especially for the class IV.7 SD YPPI Perawang. The goal of the study is to describe result in art at class IV.7 SD YPPI Perawang. For avoiding this problem, it takes the researching Class Aktivity ( PTK ) in class IV.7 for the second semester by the formula of observation in the student activity and the Learning Result Proses. By observing this research and the learning result in this case. Can use the tutorial in same age. It can improve the students learning result in class IV.7 SD YPPI Perawang.
