Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaian soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) menurut taksonomi Bloom hasil revisi yaitu C4, C5, dan C6. Pengujian dilakukan pada 22 orang mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Papua Semester Genap 2016-2017 yang mengontrak mata kulah Laboratorium Sekolah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal pada materi tekanan yang terdiri dari 25 soal pilihan ganda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui pemodelan Racsh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal C4 yaitu 53,18, soal C5 yaitu 52,27 sedangkan soal C6 yaitu 68,83 dengan Rerata 57,27 ± SD 16,70 berada pada kategori baik. Pemodelan Rasch menunjukkan bahwa soal nomor 14 dan nomor 7 yaitu soal C4 (analisis) memiliki tingkat kesukaran paling tinggi untuk diselesaikan mahasiswa. Soal nomor 5 dan nomor 6 yaitu C6 (mencipta) memiliki tingkat kesulitan paling rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tingkat tinggi masih rendah terutama pada soal C4 dan C5.Kata-kata kunci: Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS), menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta

The purpose of this study was to analyze the test items in the midterm assessment using the Rasch model in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power, and the effectiveness of distractors in class VII science questions at SMP Yapis Manokwari. This research is a quantitative research that uses descriptive quantitative methods with data collection techniques using documentation. Respondent data were 60 students with purposive sampling. The items used in the Mid Semester Assessment are 40 questions. From the validity test, it was found that the suitability level of the items was 35 questions that were fit and 5 questions that were not fit. Student reliability 0.81 means good, item reliability item 0.92 means very good and reliability between students with item 0.83 means special. The level of difficulty of the questions is in the medium category, which means that the questions are good. The discriminating power of the items obtained is that 2 items (5%) are in the very good category, 30 items (75%) are in the good category, 4 items (10%) are in the sufficient category, and 4 items (10%) are bad category, from the items it has succeeded in identifying the distinguishing power of students divided into 3 groups in the category of above average ability, average ability, and below average ability. The effectiveness of the distractor of the 40 questions in the test generally functions well. The conclusion is that the analysis of the items using the Rasch model in the midterm assessment is stated to be valid, reliable, the level of difficulty of the items is very good, the discriminating power is very good, and the effectiveness of the distractors obtained is in the good category.

Environmental cleanliness is an important aspect that must be maintained, especially in this modern era. The use of appropriate technology can help increase awareness of cleanliness, one of which is by developing automatic trash cans. This research designs and builds a mobile robot in the form of an automatic trash can that can be controlled via an Arduino Uno microcontroller using Bluetooth and controlled via a smartphone application. This research designs a mobile robot in the form of an automatic trash can that can be controlled via an Arduino Uno microcontroller with Bluetooth and a smartphone application. The system receives navigation commands from the app and uses ultrasonic sensors to detect objects in front of the trash can. The microcontroller processes the command and sensor data to drive the DC motor and servo motor. The servo motor opens and closes the trash can lid automatically when an object is detected at a certain distance. The test results show that this robot can move according to instructions from a smartphone and successfully open and close the trash can lid automatically when detecting objects.

The research that has been carried out aims to see the ability to understand mathematical concepts and mathematical communication of students on the Maxwell-Boltzman material for Tadris Physics students, especially students in semester VI. This research is a quantitative descriptive study in which the data collected from the test results and the results of the lecture process at the time of giving the Maxwell-Boltzman material will be analyzed and described and added with a test technique on the cognitive domain in the form of a description test (essay) consisting of 7 test questions, where five questions are for understanding students' mathematical concepts and two questions for technical analysis of students' mathematical communication skills. The data obtained in the quantitative analysis and according to the five categories that have been determined. The facts obtained from the results of the study show that students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in the Maxwell-Boltzman material is in the Good Enough category, and the average mathematical communication ability of students is also in the Good Enough category.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia dan Kinerja Usaha Terhadap Pengembangan UMKM Kuliner di Kelurahan Mosso Kecamatan Sendana Kabupaten Majene. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Mosso Kecamatan Sendana Kabupaten Majene dengan jumlah sampel 34 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kualitas sumber daya manusia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Mosso Kecamatan Sendana Kabupaten Majene, (2) Kinerja usaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Mosso Kecamatan Sendana Kabupaten Majene, (3) Kualitas sumber daya manusia dan kinerja usaha secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Mosso Kecamatan Sendana Kabupaten Majene.

Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu mensosialisakan prodi pendidikan fisika FKIP Unipa dan melakukan pameran media pembelajaran fisika berbasis TIK. Instrumen dalam kegiatan ini merupakan angket respon peserta didik yang dibagikan setelah kegiatan berakhir. Angket dibagikan secara online menggunakan google form. Jumlah peserta didik yang hadir sebanyak 70 orang ditambah dengan guru pendamping 7 orang. Jadi Total peserta didik mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 77 orang. Peserta didik yang mengisi angket berjumlah 48 orang. Kegiatan Sosialisasi Profil FKIP dan Pengabdian Kepada Masayarakat di SMA N 1 Warmare Manokwari telah berjalan dengan tertib, lancar dan respon kepuasan peserta didik rata-rata memberikan respon puas dengan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP UNIPA. Lack of exact use of teaching materials and does not correspond to the needs of student leads to lack of analytical ability of students to the process of problem solving. Research development worksheets based on Polya problem solving on the heat material aims to develop valid LKPD, practical, and effective. Stages of development using the 4D model was modified into 3D, namely define (definition), Design (planning), and Development (development) The results of the validity of the learning device in the category valid, obtained from the calculation of CVI are in the range 0-1 and said in category reliably with r11 value greater than rtabel (rcount > rtabel). The results of the analysis of questionnaire responses of students obtained an average percentage of 87.9% on the analysis. The analysis result of sheets assessment of learning physics used LKPD-based Polya problem solving obtained average percentage analysis results in the first meeting is 77.33% with good category, the average percentage of the results of the analysis at the second meeting is 81.11% with a very good category and average of results percentage analysis at the third meeting is 78.89% with good category. So it can say that LKPD-based Polya problem solving developed valid, practical and effective to use.

General Physics is one of the compulsory subjects not only for the Physics Education program but also for others including the Biology Education program. General Physics encompasses a wide range of materials that require a practicum. Unfortunately, not all laboratories could facilitate and had supporting tools for such practicum activities. It was believed that simple props can be used in learning activities especially to explain the concept of subject matter found in everyday life. This study aimed to determine the quality of General Physics learning by using simple media of learning in the Biology Education program, University of Papua. The research was conducted through the stages of Lesson Study activities namely Preparation Phase (Plan), Implementation (Do), and Reflection (See) in each cycle. The data was obtained through observation and video recordings during the learning activities. The results show that the quality of learning including the activities, cooperation, and mastery of the subject matter by the students are increasing in each cycle.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang aplikasi berbasis website pada irigasi tetes yang digunakan untuk monitoring kelembaban tanah pada sistem irigasi tetes pada tanaman jagung. Jagung, sebagai komoditas penting di Indonesia, memiliki peran signifikan dalam perekonomian, namun produktivitasnya sering terkendala oleh pengelolaan air yang tidak optimal. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi petani adalah kurangnya sistem irigasi yang efisien serta ketidakmampuan memantau kelembaban tanah secara real-time, terutama dalam kondisi perubahan iklim yang mempengaruhi ketersediaan air. Website ini dikembangkan untuk memungkinkan petani melakukan pemantauan kelembaban tanah secara langsung dengan bantuan sensor yang terhubung ke internet. Manfaat dari aplikasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air pada sistem irigasi tetes, mengurangi limbah air, dan membantu petani membuat keputusan pengelolaan air yang lebih baik. Dengan aplikasi ini produktivitas tanaman jagung meningkat, biaya operasional menurun, dan praktik pertanian yang berkelanjutan dapat didukung.

This community service program was carried out at the Abdi Agape Orphanage in Pontianak with the aim of improving financial literacy and fostering an economic independence mindset among the children. The background of this activity stems from the low ability to manage pocket money and the lack of basic understanding of personal finance concepts among the orphanage residents. Through an educational and participatory approach, the program was designed in the form of simple financial management training, micro-entrepreneurship practice, and digital promotion training using Canva. Each session focused on direct application in daily life, enabling participants to understand the economic value of their everyday activities. The implementation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ ability to manage personal finances, create budgeting plans, and develop small business initiatives oriented toward independence. Moreover, the program strengthened the children’s sense of responsibility, teamwork, and confidence in making financial decisions. Overall, this participatory-based applied economic education model proved effective in building financial awareness and entrepreneurial spirit among vulnerable groups, and it holds great potential to be developed as a sustainable empowerment strategy in similar institutions.
