Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the structure of the grain market and to analyze the performance of the grain market. This study was conducted in Daya Utama Village, Muara Padang District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, from May to July 2025. The research method used was a survey method. Samples were drawn using a simple random method of 30 farmers, using snowball sampling of 3 rice millers and 5 rice collectors. The data analysis methods were 1) to answer the first objective of market share analysis, Concentration Ratio (CR4) and Hirschman-Herfindahl Index (IHH); 2) to answer the second objective of marketing margins and price shares. The results show that the grain market structure in the village is a perfectly competitive market with a CR4 value of 0.181. At the marketing agency level, the market structure tends toward an oligopoly with a CR4 value of 0.609 and a Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) value of 0.08063. The performance of the grain market in the village in marketing channel I at the collector level is classified as efficient with a marketing margin of 1.72%, at the rice milling level of 124.14%, and in marketing channel II with a marketing margin of 124.14%, indicating that the marketing margin is inefficient. The price share received by farmers in marketing channel I is 45% and in marketing channel II is 44%, which is also considered inefficient.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Religious Moderation–Based Parenting Education Model in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MPBMB-MI) as a strategic innovation to strengthen madrasah family partnerships in improving the quality of Islamic education. The study addresses the absence of a systematic parenting education model that integrates religious moderation values within the madrasah quality assurance system. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the research was conducted through needs analysis, model design, expert validation, and revision stages, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis in six madrasas across four provinces in Indonesia. The findings show that parenting education programs contribute significantly to students’ character development and discipline, and that the values of religious moderation rahmah (compassion), uswah (exemplary conduct), tawashul (dialogic communication), and mas’uliyyah (spiritual responsibility)—are effectively integrated into the planning, implementation, and evaluation of parenting activities. The MPBMB-MI model achieved a high validity score of 89%, indicating that it is feasible to implement as a management-based strategy for enhancing madrasah quality through sustainable family–madrasah partnerships grounded in the principles of religious moderation.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of Kyai leadership within the pesantren tradition amid the rising influence of digital media, using the controversy surrounding Trans7’s Xpose Uncensored episode on Pesantren Lirboyo as a critical case. this research analyzes how Kyai leadership is constructed, contested, and recontextualized in the era of viral media. Findings reveal four key transformations. First, despite media pressure, Kyai authority in Lirboyo remains anchored in charismatic moral–spiritual leadership while adapting to media logic through ethical and calm communicative strategies, consistent with Hjarvard’s (2008) theory of the mediatization of religion. Overall, this study demonstrates that the leadership of Kyai in the digital era is simultaneously charismatic, adaptive, and dialogical, reflecting a harmonious integration of pesantren tradition with contemporary media culture. The Lirboyo case serves as evidence that religious authority in Indonesia is undergoing significant transformation, not through erosion, but through strategic negotiation within the logic of viral digital communication.

Abstract

This study Analyses the business performance and financial structure dynamics of Neuversity, an Edutech entity in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, during its strategic transition from a non-profit foundation (Yayasan) to a profit-oriented corporation (PT). The research evaluates the effectiveness of financial bootstrapping strategies in maintaining sustainability after the cessation of external grant funding. Method: Using a descriptive quantitative approach with a case study method, this research nalyses financial data from the third quarter (Q3) of 2025. The study focuses on Working Capital Management and Spontaneous Financing ratios. Results: The findings indicate that the company successfully pivoted to a B2B model. However, regarding Working Capital Management, the company faces liquidity constraints despite high profits, evidenced by a low Collection Rate of 44.5%. Conversely, the Financial Bootstrapping strategy proved effective, evidenced by an 18.1% ratio of spontaneous financing to total assets and a 56.6% cost reduction during low-revenue periods. Conclusion: While financial bootstrapping successfully secured operational sustainability without interest-bearing debt, long-term stability requires stricter liquidity discipline through better Working Capital Management.

Abstract

This study examines approaches to understanding hadiths concerning the practice of wearing garments below the ankles (isbāl) through the framework of mukhtalif al-hadith. The issue of isbāl has generated diverse scholarly interpretations due to the presence of seemingly divergent prophetic narrations, some of which convey unconditional prohibition while others explicitly link the prohibition to moral intentions such as arrogance and pride. This research employs a qualitative library-based methodology, analyzing primary hadith collections alongside classical and contemporary scholarly works to explore patterns of interpretation and methodological reasoning. The findings reveal that hadiths on isbāl can be classified into two main textual categories: unconditional prohibitions and intention-based condemnations. Divergent legal conclusions among scholars are shown to stem primarily from methodological orientations rather than from disagreements over hadith authenticity. Scholars adopting literal-textual approaches tend to uphold a general prohibition, whereas those employing contextual and reconciliatory methods emphasize harmonization (al-jam‘ wa al-tawfīq) by interpreting the narrations within their ethical and socio-historical contexts. This study further demonstrates that ethical orientation emerges as the central interpretive outcome of isbāl hadiths. The prophetic guidance consistently prioritizes moral values such as humility, social equality, and the avoidance of arrogance over rigid formal regulation of dress length. By integrating textual classification, methodological analysis, and ethical interpretation, this research contributes to contemporary hadith studies by offering a coherent framework for addressing cases of mukhtalif al-hadith and reinforcing the relevance of ethical coherence in responsible and contextual hadith interpretation.
