Abstract

In the development of digital technology, the phenomenon of the proliferation of online gambling advertisements by content creators through social media has emerged. This research aims to analyze the income earned by content creators from online gambling advertisements, as well as the impact of these advertisements on society from both social and economic perspectives, and Yusuf Al-Qaradawi's views on haram sources of income. The method employed is a normative legal approach with a conceptual framework. Data was collected through literature studies on the works of Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, fiqh muamalah literature, journals, theses, scientific papers, as well as field data obtained via interviews with relevant informants. The research findings indicate that although content creators do not directly engage in gambling, their role as intermediaries in disseminating sinful practices renders their income unlawful. This study recommends that content creators prioritize the halal aspect of their income sources in accordance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

In Islam, all excesses are prohibited because they will have fatal consequences, such as mukbang which can damage the health of the human body. In this study, the analysis of the Mukbang phenomenon on social media was studied: "Tafsir Fii Zhilalil Qur'an". Mukbang on social media shows the phenomenon of overeating. In this study, a qualitative method was used with a Library Research Approach. The qualitative method was chosen to describe, study, and interpret narrative and descriptive data, especially related to the ethics of eating from the perspective of Sayyid Qutb. In the study, it can be concluded that the Tafsir Fi Ẓilālil Qur'an emphasizes that Islam is a religion that regulates all aspects of human life, including in seemingly simple matters such as eating. Through this prohibition, the Qur'an educates people to always protect themselves from excessive behavior that can lead to sin, and directs people to cultivate gratitude, simplicity, and responsibility. This message aligns with Quthub's principles of da'wah, which emphasize spiritual development through the internalization of Qur’anic values ​​in everyday life. Dalam Islam, segala hal yang berlebihan dilarang karena akan berakibat fatal, seperti mukbang yang dapat merusak kesehatan tubuh manusia. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis fenomena Mukbang di media sosial dikaji: “Tafsir Fii Zhilalil Qur’an”. Mukbang di media sosial menunjukkan fenomena makan berlebihan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode kualitatif digunakan dengan Pendekatan Library Research. Metode kualitatif dipilih untuk mendeskripsikan, mengkaji, dan menginterpretasi data naratif dan deskriptif, khususnya terkait etika makan dari perspektif Sayyid Qutb. Dalam penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Tafsir Fi Ẓilālil Qur’an menekankan bahwa Islam adalah agama yang mengatur seluruh aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam hal-hal yang tampak sederhana seperti makan. Melalui larangan ini, Al-Qur’an mendidik manusia untuk senantiasa menjaga diri dari perilaku berlebihan yang dapat berujung pada dosa, dan mengarahkan manusia untuk memupuk rasa syukur, kesederhanaan, dan tanggung jawab. Pesan ini sejalan dengan prinsip dakwah Quthub yang menekankan pengembangan spiritual melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study conducts a scientific exegesis (Tafsir ‘ilmi) of Qur’an 16:68-69, which describes divine inspiration bestowed upon honeybees and the production of a healing drink from their abdomens. Using a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach and the tahlil method, classical and modern interpretation sources were integrated with contemporary findings in apidology and apitherapy. Major exegetes (Ibn Kathir, al-Tabari, al-Qurtubi, Saayid Qutb, Tantawi Jauhri, et al.) Unanimously interpreted “awha” as divinely instilled instinct accurately anticipating modern discoveries of hexagonal hive geometry, waggle dance communication, and age based polytheism. Scientific evidence confirms that bee products (honey, royal jelly, propolis, pollen, venom, beeswax) contain bioactive compounds with proven antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and wound-healing properties for validating the Qur’anic claim of “healing for people” (Syifaul linnas). The findings illustrate profound harmony between seventh-century revelation and twenty-first-century biology and medicine, affirming the Qur’an’s role as both theological guidance and empirically verifiable natural observation while underscoring bee’s ecological and therapeutic significance.

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the application of khiyar aib in wooden block buying and selling transactions. Khiyar means choice, which is the right to choose the best option among several choices. Khiyar aib is the right of the buyer to cancel the transaction and return the goods if the goods are defective. This type of research is empirical legal research with a population consisting of all Panglong in Padangsidimpuan Tenggara District. The research samples are Panglong Jati Raya, Panglong Berlian Jaya, and Panglong Mandiri Lestari. Based on interviews with the owners of the three Panglongs, it was found that none of the Panglongs applied khiyar aib in the practice of buying and selling, even though the owner was a Muslim. As regulated in the Compilation of Sharia Economic Law, in Book II Chapter X, and in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning the obligations of business actors and consumer rights. The application of khiyar aib should be an important part of the practice of buying and selling. The results of the study indicate a discrepancy between legal theory and field practice in the area.

Abstract

Pola asuh otoriter telah lama dikritik dalam kajian psikologi perkembangan anak karena cenderung menekan kemandirian, empati, dan regulasi emosi anak. Dalam konteks masyarakat Muslim, praktik ini kerap dipertahankan dengan dalih tradisi atau efisiensi disiplin. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan solusi konseptual dan praktis berbasis Al-Qur’an terhadap problematika pola asuh otoriter. Dengan pendekatan tafsir tematik (maudhu’i) dan integrasi teori psikologi otoritatif, penelitian ini mengkaji lima ayat utama (QS. Al-Baqarah:83, Luqman:19, An-Nahl:90, Al-Furqan:63, dan At-Tahrim:6) yang membentuk fondasi pengasuhan Qur’ani. Hasil kajian menemukan bahwa lima pilar nilai Qur’ani yaitu tauhid dan kesadaran ilahiyah, komunikasi santun dan empatik, disiplin berbasis keadilan dan ihsan, keteladanan emosional, serta pendidikan spiritual berorientasi ukhrawi memberikan kerangka alternatif terhadap gaya pengasuhan otoriter. Studi ini mengusulkan model Qur’anic Authoritative Parenting yang menggabungkan kontrol moral dan kasih sayang berbasis nilai transendental sebagai sintesis antara ajaran Islam dan pendekatan psikologi kontemporer. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya literatur pengasuhan Islami dan menjadi pedoman aplikatif dalam membentuk keluarga yang seimbang secara spiritual dan psikososial

Abstract

This study examines the accountability of the Mosque Prosperity Agency (BKM) of the Muslimin Mandala Mosque regarding the payment of wages to caretakers, which does not comply with the principles of transparency and justice in Islam. The problem arose following a change in mosque management in 2023, resulting in cuts or even complete omissions for no apparent reason. This study aims to analyze the BKM's wages and assess their appropriateness based on the perspective of Imam Shafi'i's jurisprudence.This study uses the field research method to directly explore the practice of managing mosque caretaker wages by the Mosque Prosperity Agency (BKM) at the Muslimin Mandala Mosque.The researcher used a living case study and statute approach. Data were obtained through direct interviews with caretakers, mosque administrators, and community leaders, as well as a review of mosque administrative documents. The findings indicate that there is no clear administrative system for providing wages to caretakers. Wages are given incidentally without any written agreement or certainty of the amount and time, and depend on the voluntary initiative of the administrators and congregation. According to Imam Shafi'i's fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), this contradicts the principle of ijarah, which states that every work that produces benefits is entitled to fair and clear wages. The hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW recommends paying wages before the worker's sweat dries. Therefore, the BKM should develop a written wage system, establish work contracts, schedule regular payments, and implement transparent financial reporting. This study recommends the need to improve the mosque's financial management system to comply with sharia principles, maintain trust, and improve the welfare of caretakers as an important part of the mosque's continued function

Abstract

The development of hadith codification in the 3rd to 4th centuries of the Hijri marked an increasingly complex process of systematising the transmission of religious knowledge through various hadith compilations. However, modern hadith studies tend to focus on the criticism of the sanad (chain of transmission) and the evaluation of narrators’ authority. In contrast, the methodological dimensions of compilation methods, thematic organisation, and the practical orientation of hadith compilations are less thoroughly analysed. This gap is particularly evident in studies of the works of 4th-century Hijri scholars who integrated the legitimacy of sanad transmission with the practical needs of the community. This study aims to analyse the methodology of hadith compilation in the works of Ibn Sunnī and to explain how the integration of the legitimacy of sanad transmission and a practical orientation shaped the structure of hadith compilations during that period. The study uses a qualitative approach, with textual analysis and the historiography of hadith, through an examination of the thematic structure of the books, the configuration of the sanad transmission network, and variations in hadith redaction in Ibn Sunnī’s works. The results show that Ibn Sunnī’s compilation methodology exhibits three main characteristics. First, the pattern of hadith transmission relies on a broad and multi-layered network of teachers that strengthens the legitimacy of the sanad and reflects intellectual mobility within the 4th-century AH transmission network. Second, the hadith compilation is structured thematically, with a strong orientation towards worship, prayer, and daily ethics, so that it functions as a practical guide for the religious life of Muslim communities. Third, the text’s editing strategy preserves variations in hadith redactions across different transmission lines, representing the dynamics of transmission in the oral and written traditions. These findings suggest that Ibn Sunnī’s compilation functioned not only as an archive of sanad transmission but also as a pedagogical tool that connects scholarly authority with the religious needs of the community, thus making an important contribution to the understanding of the historiography and methodology of classical hadith compilation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan pemerintah terkait pendirian rumah ibadah dalam perspektif siyāsah dustūriyyah dengan studi kasus pendirian gereja di Jalan Garu V, Kelurahan Harjosari I, Kecamatan Medan Amplas, Kota Medan. Pendirian rumah ibadah merupakan bagian dari hak konstitusional warga negara sebagaimana dijamin dalam Pasal 29 Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, namun dalam praktiknya kerap menghadapi dinamika sosial dan kendala administratif di tingkat lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode yuridis normatif dan sosiologis. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan aparat pemerintah, tokoh agama, Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB), serta masyarakat sekitar, dan diperkuat dengan studi dokumen hukum. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengaitkan ketentuan Peraturan Bersama Menteri Agama dan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 9 dan 8 Tahun 2006 dengan prinsip-prinsip siyāsah dustū riyyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan perizinan rumah ibadah secara normatif telah memiliki dasar konstitusional dan yuridis yang jelas. Namun, dalam implementasinya masih dipengaruhi oleh dinamika sosial dan administratif di tingkat lokal. Dalam perspektif siyasah dustūriyyah, kebijakan tersebut pada dasarnya sejalan dengan prinsip keadilan (al-‘adl) serta kemaslahatan (al-maṣlaḥah) yang berorientasi pada pencapaian tujuan syariat (maqāṣid al-syariah), khususnya dalam menyeimbangkan perlindungan hak beragama dengan pemeliharaan ketertiban dan keharmonisan kehidupan bermasyarakat. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan kesenjangan antara norma hukum dan realitas sosial yang dipengaruhi oleh relasi mayoritas – minoritas serta persepsi masyarakat terhadap perubahan fungsi bangunan. Oleh karena itu, implementasi kebijakan ini tidak hanya memerlukan kepatuhan administratif, tetapi juga pendekatan dialogis guna mewujudkan keadilan substantif dan kemaslahatan bersama.
