Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in MSMEs of Saladin Kentang Magic using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) approaches. A further goal is to formulate a marketing strategy based on the results of the evaluation. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents of Saladin Potato Magic customers. The research variables include five dimensions of CRM service quality: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of the study showed a CSI value of 76.83% which showed that customers were "satisfied" with the performance of the CRM. The IPA analysis identified priority attributes for improvement in quadrant I, namely the ease of contact through social media and the speed of response to complaints. Attributes in quadrant II that need to be maintained include product variety, product quality, and employee friendliness. The implication of this study is the need for a marketing strategy that focuses on strengthening social media management, improving the complaint handling system, and maintaining product quality as a competitive advantage for Saladin Potato Magic MSMEs.

Abstract

This study examines Indonesia’s regulatory framework and empirical practices regarding using regionally owned assets. By applying the two-stage least squares (2SLS) technique for the national macro model, the study also seeks to determine the effects of increased regional asset utilization on poverty reduction and regional revenue across various regions. The study employs a descriptive-analytical approach using mixed methods. Fixed effect and random effect estimation techniques were utilized for the regional models, while the two-stage least squares (2SLS) method was applied for the national macro models. The Statistical Analysis System (SAS), version 4.0, was used for this analysis. The findings demonstrate that maximizing the use of regional assets positively impacts regional original income, with a 1% increase in asset utilization leading to a 0.53% rise in regional original income. Furthermore, a 1% increase in regional income results in a 0.09% decrease in poverty. Increasing regional revenue and reducing poverty are two measurable outcomes of optimizing regional assets as a policy tool to enhance regional economic performance. Several factors contribute to Indonesia’s low optimization of asset utilization, including remote geographic locations, legal disputes with third parties, numerous assets unregistered in state or regional administrations, and unclear asset allocation

Abstract

Transmigration areas often experience economic problems associated with a lack of dominance of lead commodities to encourage local growth. This research is interested in finding the lead commodity of Muaro Takung-Kamang Baru, Sijunjung Regency, to support the development of the transmigration area. A descriptive quantitative method was used with the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis (comparative advantage), Shift-Share analysis (competitive advantage), and SWOT analysis in developing an evidence-based policy strategy. The 2018-2023 regional production and economic data were examined. The findings of both LQ and shift-share analyses revealed oil palm as the dominant commodity of Muaro Takung with both comparative and competitive advantages. Palm oil is the major contributor to the local plantation sector, but it too has its constraints: standards of product quality that are less than optimal, farmers' productivity, and lack of access to capital. The commodity itself is an important driver in the regional economy with an integrated upstream–downstream supply chain stretching from Fresh Fruit Bunch production to refined products, which creates significant employment locally. The advancement of oil palm as a superior commodity could become the catalyst for the growth of the transmigration area. However, it is necessary to adopt systemic solutions to overcome structural and institutional barriers, to strengthen the infrastructure and farmers’ capacities, and also to establish industry clusters through Porter’s Diamond Model. Local authorities are expected to take over CPO production facilities on the ±2,000 ha of land given for that aim and support farmer institution development as well as partnership with investors and environmental sustainability. Enhancing the upstream–downstream supply chain to support the comparative and competitive advantage and added value of the region is crucial for sustainable economic development in transmigration areas.
