Abstract

Based on the results of a survey on the level of fatigue and stres of IIUM students, it is known that 30% felt mild fatigue and 70% felt moderate fatigue. For stres levels, it was found that 40% experienced moderate stres, 30% experienced mild stres. This condition is not recognized and if it continues, it will reduce the health status of IIUM Malaysia campus residents, so efforts are needed to improve their health status. The aim of this service research is to increase knowledge about stres and work fatigue, reduce fatigue levels and reduce stres levels for IIUM campus residents. The method applied in this community service is Community Based Research (CBR) using the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) approach. Community service activities that have been carried out include providing health education about the impact of work on fatigue and stres, followed by light physical exercise. There were 36 participants who attended. The results of the service carried out with a pre-testt and post-testt, knowledge about fatigue and stres, almost all participants experienced a significant increase. The average pre-testt and post-testt fatigue level score was 47.77, increasing to 94.72. For knowledge about stres, the average pre-testt and post-testt scores were 49.72 to 96.11. This community service shows that implementing formal education in the classroom carries the risk of causing serious health problems, so students and other campus residents are given informal education content in the form of relaxing activities outside the classroom.

Abstract

Penatalaksanaan keperawatan pada pasien penyakit ginjal kronis stadium akhir yang datang ke instalasi gawat darurat dengan gangguan pernapasan, nyeri, dan penurunan fungsi ginjal memerlukan pendekatan sistematis berbasis proses keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien dengan masalah pola napas tidak efektif, nyeri akut, dan risiko perfusi ginjal tidak efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan yang mencakup pengkajian, diagnosis, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi rekam medis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa intervensi seperti pemberian oksigen dengan masker aliran tinggi, penempatan posisi setengah duduk, manajemen nyeri sesuai instruksi medis, serta pemantauan perfusi dan kolaborasi pemberian terapi cairan, memberikan perbaikan terhadap kondisi pasien, meskipun beberapa gejala belum sepenuhnya membaik. Evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan saturasi oksigen, penurunan skala nyeri, serta kesadaran yang membaik, namun fungsi ginjal belum pulih secara optimal karena akses hemodialisis belum dapat digunakan.

Abstract

Cedera kepala berat merupakan kondisi kritis yang membutuhkan penanganan intensif dalam mengendalikan tekanan intrakranial (TIK) dan menjaga stabilitas hemodinamik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh posisi head up 30° terhadap perubahan nilai Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) pada pasien cedera kepala berat post craniotomy di ruang Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Desain penelitian menggunakan metode laporan kasus (case report) yang dilakukan pada pasien Ny. T usia 74 tahun, dengan diagnosa cedera kepala berat ec Hematoma Subdural (SDH) Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) traumatic, edema cerebri traumatic dan diindikasikan tindakan craniotomy. Intervensi posisi head up 30° dilakukan minimal selama 30 menit setiap hari selama 5 hari berturut-turut. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, dan studi dokumentasi menggunakan format asuhan keperawatan berdasarkan SDKI, SLKI, dan SIKI. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif naratif dengan membandingkan kondisi pasien sebelum dan sesudah intervensi terhadap teori dan standar praktik keperawatan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya penurunan Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) setelah dilakukan intervensi, dengan penurunan paling signifikan sebesar 11 mmHg terjadi pada hari ketiga. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan nilai Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), menandakan perbaikan kesadaran pasien. Intervensi ini terbukti efektif dalam membantu mengurangi tekanan intrakranial, memperbaiki aliran darah ke otak, dan menstabilkan kondisi hemodinamik pasien.

Abstract

Status epileptikus merupakan kondisi kejang yang berlangsung lebih dari 30 menit. Pasien status epileptikus sering mengalami penurunan kesadaran dan gagal napas sehingga harus mendapatkan perawatan yang intensif di Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Salah satu terapi pada pasien status epileptikus dengan gagal napas adalah pemasangan dan pemberian ventilasi mekanik. Pasien yang terpasang ventilator dan terintubasi berisiko mengalami peningkatan jumlah sekret karena tersedasi dan posisi supinasi dalam waktu yang lama. Pembersihan sekresi jalan napas (suctioning) menjadi hal yang penting dilakukan untuk mencegah infeksi pernapasan, mempertahankan pertukaran gas, serta menyediakan oksigenasi yang memadai. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status oksigenasi sebelum dan setelah dilakukan suctioning. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, memantau hasil pemeriksaan penunjang, serta melakukan intervensi suctioning berdasarkan SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) yang ada. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif. Pemberian intervensi suction, baik dengan metode open suction maupun close suction yang dilakukan selama 5 hari terbukti dapat meningkatkan kadar saturasi oksigen dan menjaga frekuensi pernapasan dalam rentang normal.

Abstract

Non ST segment elevation myocardial infarction merupakan sindrom koroner akut akibat iskemia miokard tanpa elevasi segmen ST pada elektrokardiogram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen keperawatan pada pasien dengan Non-ST Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) Killip 3 di ruang Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU), khususnya dalam penatalaksanaan risiko penurunan curah jantung serta peran edukasi pola hidup sehat dalam mendukung proses pemulihan dan mencegah kekambuhan. Metode penelitian dengan studi kasus seorang pasien laki-laki, 76 tahun, dengan klasifikasi Killip 3 dirawat di ICCU. Analisis data diambil dari asuhan keperawatan dan intervensi yang diberikan, yaitu pemantauan ketat tanda vital dan elektrokardiogram, terapi farmakologis sesuai pedoman acute coronary syndrome, serta edukasi pola hidup sehat dan dukungan keluarga. Setelah lima hari perawatan intensif, kondisi klinis pasien membaik, namun target luaran intervensi risiko penurunan curah jantung belum teratasi, kondisi ini dikarnakan klasifikasi NSTEMI Killip 3 yang dialami pasien. Klasifikasi Killip 3 yang dialami pasien memerlukan waktu rehabilitasi lebih panjang.

Abstract

Background: The elderly population in Gunung Kidul Regency is steadily increasing each year, with many becoming bedridden as they age. This highlights the urgent need for training programs that empower family members caring for elderly relatives, particularly in bedridden care and pressure ulcer prevention. Objective: The training aims to enhance the understanding, attitudes, and skills of family caregivers to provide effective support for bedridden elderly patients. Method: The program featured interactive lectures, engaging discussions, and hands-on practice, along with pre-tests and post-tests to evaluate its effectiveness. Results: Analysis indicated a significant improvement in knowledge and attitudes, with a paired t-test value (p) of 0.000 (p<0.05). While participants actively engaged in practical exercises, some occasionally needed reminders about the correct order of steps. Conclusion: This training successfully improved participants' capabilities and confidence in caring for bedridden elderly individuals, ultimately enhancing the quality of care for this vulnerable population.

Abstract

The divorce rate in the North Pekalongan District KUA Region from 2017 to 2019 has experienced ups and downs. The increase in the number of divorce cases in 2017 was 41 cases from 2016 which was only 32 cases, while divorce in 2017 decreased by 4 cases from the previous year 2016 there were 11 cases of divorce. In 2018 there were 4 cases of divorce and 26 cases of divorce. However, in 2019 there was a significant spike for divorce, rising to 16 cases and for divorce, there were 58 cases. The type of research carried out by this researcher is Field Research, namely research that is directly related to the object under study by object observation and interviews. The data analysis technique that will be used by researchers in this study is "qualitative analysis" which is a research method that uses and produces data in a descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the reality of the divorce rate in the KUA Region of North Pekalongan District in 2017-2019 has experienced ups and downs. Then in 2018 the role of religious instructors was very good, this was shown by the decline in the divorce rate at that time, and in 2019 the divorce rate experienced a large spike, however, the role of religious instructors was still there, but could not suppress the divorce rate.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiah (NA) yang lama vakum menjadi keprihatinan bagi Pimpinan Ranting ‘Aisyiah (PRA) Tamantirto Utara, sehingga dirancang kegiatan untuk mengumpulkan semua pengurus bertema kesehatan mental. Tujuan kegiatan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang benar akan kesehatan mental, serta meningkatkan keterampilan dalam merangkai bucket. Lokasi kegiatan di TK ABA Godegan Tamantirto Utara. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam dua sesi, sesi pertama melakukan talkshow tentang permasalahan kesehatan mental pada remaja. Sesi kedua yaitu melakukan demonstrasi dan praktek pembuatan karya tangan bucket. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pemberian instrument SRQ-20 untuk screening kesehatan mental, serta lembar observasi keaktifan membuat bucket. Kegiatan dihadiri 36 peserta Hasil kegiatan untuk screening risiko gangguan mental diperoleh 50% partisipan tidak ada indikasi mengalami gangguan mental dan 50% terindikasi adanya gangguan mental. Semua peserta aktif membuat satu bucket sebagai hasil karyanya. Perlu assessment lebih lanjut untuk memastikan risiko gangguan mental tersebut, serta tindakan preventif dan kuratif terhadap kelompok yang beresiko.Abstract: The Nasyiatul 'Aisyiah (NA) activities, which had been on hiatus for a long time, had become isolating for the North Tamantirto 'Aisyiah (PRA) Branch Leaders, so an activity was designed to gather all administrators on the theme of mental health. The aim of the activity is to provide right understanding of mental health, as well as improve skills in assembling buckets. Location of activities at ABA Godegan Kindergarten Tamantirto Utara. The activity was carried out in two sessions, the first session held a talk show about mental health problems in adolescents. The second session was intensive and practical work on making handmade buckets. Evaluation was carried out by administering the SRQ-20 instrument for mental health screening, as well as observation sheets for bucket making activities. The activity was attended by 36 participants. The results of the activity for screening the risk of mental disorders showed that 50% of the participants had no indication of having a mental disorder and 50% indicated that they had a mental disorder. All participants were active in made one bucket. Further studies need to be carried out to ascertain the risk of mental disorders, as well as preventive and curative measures for the groups affected.

Abstract

Respiratory failure is a condition in which the respiratory system is unable to perform its gas exchange function effectively, resulting in inadequate oxygen intake and insufficient removal of carbon dioxide. Patients with respiratory failure with Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) and sups. COPD must get fast initial treatment because they cannot ventilate spontaneously. Initial handling of respiratory failure in the Emergency Department (ED) airway, breathing, and circulation, according to the principles of Advanced Life Support. If airway obstruction is found, measures are taken to ensure airway patency, such as head repositioning maneuvers, use of oropharyngeal airway, or endotracheal intubation if needed. Furthermore, oxygen therapy is given. The method used is a descriptive case study that aims to describe the initial management of patients with respiratory failure with Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) and suspected Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in the Emergency Department (ED). The subject was one adult patient with complaints of acute shortness of breath and a history of smoking, purposively selected based on clinical emergencies that require immediate intervention. Management was carried out using the ABCDE (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure) approach, including airway evaluation and intervention, ventilatory support, hemodynamic stabilization, assessment of neurological status with the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), and identification of additional clinical findings through supporting examinations. Proper emergency management in the emergency room with the ABCDE approach shows effective results in restoring breathing, ensuring systemic oxygenation, and preventing complications due to respiratory failure.

Abstract

Background: Comprehensive and continuous health services are provided to individuals and families in their place of residence to improve, maintain, or restore health, increase independence, and minimize the impact of disease. In Indonesia, the number of elderly people is increasing. Health services for older people should be a priority, along with the increasing number of elderly people. In terms of health services, older people need help. In addition, the elderly are more susceptible to various diseases, including degenerative and chronic diseases. Purpose: To determine the description of home health services for elderly patients with chronic diseases. Method: This study searched the following bibliographic databases to identify potentially relevant documents: Scien Direct, Pubmed, and MDPI publications in 2020-2024. Findings from the studies were extracted and compiled, guided by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). Literature review using the Scien Direct, Pubmed, and MDPI databases. Keywords: "Home Care, Home Care Service and Home Care Nursing". A total of 1,176 articles were obtained. The final result obtained six articles that met the review requirements Results: The results of the study show that home health services use more technology to help the elderly who are experiencing chronic diseases. Home care services for the elderly with chronic diseases can be further developed by conducting more focused research on specific chronic diseases using systematic literature reviews with a larger number of studies to see the latest trends in research on home care services for the elderly with chronic diseases. Conclusion: Based on the results of research on six analyzed references, it states that home care services currently use more technology to help the elderly who are experiencing chronic diseases, although not all of them do.
