Abstract

Water management system is an effort of planning, management, control, and supervision of runoff water that is structured and integrated in an area according with the policies. In Governor Regulation of Jakarta Capital City Administration No. 43 of 2013 on the Peil of Building Floor Licence, it is explained that the implementation of the zero Delta Q principle is to keep the runoff remain in the area up to 100% or to drain the water out of the region up to zero percent or zero runoff. In this regard, this research is expected to develop a concept of a regional water system implementation which compares the hydrological analysis method with related regulatory methods, to obtain a technical policy that can be applied in order to meet the regional regulations based on the zero delta Q or zero runoff concept for all to be developed areas in Jakarta by taking case study of South Jakarta area as a pilot project. The method used is to compare the Governor Regulation of Jakarta as the reference in zero run off calculation with the Indonesian National Standard Regulation (SNI) No. 03 2453 2002 on the Procedure of Planning Technique of Rainwater Recharge wells for Grounds using hydrological and hydraulics analysis. The conclusion is the calculation by hydrological analysis in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard Regulation (SNI) No. 03 2453 2002 on the Procedure of Planning Technique of Rainwater Recharge wells for Grounds becomes the chosen method, because it has a more detailed result and zero runoff concept can be met, so the runoff at the study site did not increase the load of Grogol River.

Abstract

The Lempake Dam currently functions as a dam that provides raw water for irrigation and clean water, besides its indirect functioning as the only flood control dam in the Karangmumus sub-watershed. Current conditions indicate that the Lempake Reservoir has experienced decreased capacity from year to year. At the normal water level, the reservoir capacity of Lempake Reservoir in 2013 was 0.76 million m3 and in 2018 was 0.39 million m3. Therefore, efforts are needed to control reservoir sedimentation and reservoir operations to allow the Lempake Dam to continue to function as a flood control reservoir. This study was carried out by analyzing the volume of sedimentation in the reservoir using the ArcGIS program and analyzing the flood hydrograph at the site by flood routing at the Pasar Segiri River, optimizing reservoir operations, and mapping flood inundation using the RAS Mapping program (HEC-RAS). The results showed that the storage volume in 2020 is predicted to be 0.241 million m3 with an annual sediment rate of 0.074 million m3. From the flood routing analysis and optimization of reservoir operations, the cross-sectional capacity of the river in Pasar Segiri (safe limit elevation +3.30 m) is insufficient for a flood discharge of a return period of more than 2 years (more than 222.14 m3/sec) for Scenario 1, and of more than 5 years (more than 320.48 m3/sec) for Scenario 2.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of Batu as a tourist and agropolitant city has led to some concern, such as water resources. The number of springs has increasingly declined due to the conversion of forest into agriculture land, residential, and tourist sites. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain equilibrium through the process of extracting and replenishment of rain water by absorbing it into soil pores as water conservation efforts. This study examines the analysis of water conservation based on the concept of zero runoff, located in the Block Office area. It is expected to become input for the Batu City Government and be developed in those area. The analysis of surface runoff is calculated by Rational Method. The dimension of recharged well is calculated by using SNI method 03 2453 2002. The magnitude of design discharge obtained with 5 years return period is 111,408 mm. Reharged well is planned with 5 meters height and 1 meter diameter. Recharged well used for 100 m roof area is 1. Water conservation technology by using recharged well is able to collect runoff from the roof, while retention pool collect and absorb runoff from the parking area, road, and yard.

Abstract

Abstract

The Lapindo mud phenomenon has been going on for 17 years, causing damage to the land and subsurface geological structures which raises concerns about reducing groundwater quality. This research aims to determine groundwater flow patterns based on surface contours around the Porong River which were analyzed using Surfer 13 software, and understand the relationship between groundwater and surface water through physical properties with correlation coefficients using Rstudio, as well as to identify the chemical characteristics of surface water and groundwater using the Trilinear Piper Diagram. Based on the research results, the groundwater flow pattern moves from northeast to southwest, and there is interaction between the two as indicated by the physical properties of the water. The correlation coefficient value ranges from 0.615 to 0.997, meaning that the relationship between groundwater and surface water is moderate to strong. Both groundwater and surface water have the same chemical type, namely mostly containing alkaline earth and weak acids. In addition, this research reveals the exploration of the impact of heavy metal parameters, namely Copper (Cu), from the Lapindo mud in the Porong River and residents' dug wells. In conclusion, this research shows the interaction between groundwater and surface water in the Porong River.
