Abstract

Lahan tertutup pada suatu kawasan tidak bisa meresapkan air hujan yang turun, sehingga air hujan langsung melimpas menjadi limpasan permukaan (run off) dan menyebabkan genangan pada kawasan tersebut. Kondisi saluran drainasi yang tidak mampu menampung debit banjir rancangan suatu kawasan juga menyebabkan terjadinya genangan. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan airtanah kekurangan pasokan dan jika keadaan ini berlangsung terus menerus, maka akan terjadi penurunan muka airtanah dan juga penurunan debit sumbersumber mata air di suatu kawasan selain terjadinya genangan air.Studi ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan suatu sistem drainasi yang berwawasan lingkungan yaitu berupa teknologi sumur-sumur resapan yang berfungsi ganda, selain mereduksi genangan yang terjadi, juga meresapkan air hujan, sehingga dapat mengisi airtanah secara buatan (artificial recharge).Sebagai studi kasus, penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kecamatan Batu yang merupakan pusat dari Kota Batu. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh curah hujan rancangan kala ulang 10 tahun untuk Kecamatan Batu sebesar 91,2 mm dan total debit yang tidak mampu ditampung saluran drainasi yang ada sebesar 12,142 m3/dtk. Sumur resapan direncanakan dengan diameter 1 m, kedalaman sumur 3 m dan mampu menampung debit sebesar 0,028 m3/dtk per sumur. Untuk mereduksi genangan air di Kecamatan Batu dibutuhkan sumur resapan sejumlah 450 sumur resapan yang ditempatkan pada wilayah tangkapan air saluran yang tidak mampu menampung debit banjir.

Abstract

Abstrak: Banjir, dan genangan dapat terjadi dimana saja di Indonesia, terutama dengan curah hujan yang cukup tinggi. Sumur resapan dan biopori dapat menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan banjir dan genangan.  Sumur resapan adalah sebuah rekayasa teknik penyimpanan air dengan bentuk seperti sumur gali yang memiliki fungsi sebagai penampung air hujan dari atap rumah yang diteruskan dalam tanah dengan kedalaman tertentu. Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Maghfiroh yang terletak di Kelurahan Tlogomas, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang juga mempunyai permasalahan genangan akibat limpasan air yang cukup tinggi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan membuat sumur resapan dilokasi mitra sehingga dapat mengurangi terjadinya genangan yang sering terjadi pada saat musih hujan. BPPM (Badan Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) Fakultas Teknik Universitas Brawijaya bekerjasama dengan mitra Yayasan di Ponpes Bahrul Maghfiroh di Kelurahan Tlogomas, Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang, mendampingi dalam proses perencanaan dan implementasi pembangunan sumur resapan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dimulai dengan pelaksanaan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) penentuan lokasi sumur resapan, pendampingan perencanaan serta pendampingan pembangunan sumur resapan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terbangunnya 3 (tiga) sumur resapan yang diharapkan dapat mengurangi genangan yang biasa terjadi di dalam lingkungan pondok pesantren.Abstract:  Floods and flooding can occur anywhere in Indonesia, especially with high rainfall. Infiltration wells and bio pores can be a solution to flood and flood problems. The infiltration well is an engineering water storage technique in the form of a dug well, which functions as a rainwater reservoir from the roof of a house, which continues to be deep in the ground. Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School, located in Tlogomas Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, also has a serious water runoff flooding problem. This activity aims to make infiltration wells in partner locations to reduce flooding that often occurs during the rainy season. BPPM (Research and Community Service Agency) Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya collaborates with the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School partners in Tlogomas Village, Lowokwaru District Malang City to assist in the planning and implementation of the infiltration well building process. This community service activity began with the implementation of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on infiltration wells, assistance in the planning, and assistance in the construction of absorption wells. This activity result is the construction of 3 (three) infiltration wells, which are expected to reduce the amount of flooding normally occurring in the boarding school environment.

Abstract

Probolinggo, East Java, Indonesia, is an area with a high potential for shrimp aquaculture because these areas meet the criteria for candidate vaname shrimp aquaculture. Probolinggo in tropical regions with stable climate dan sea waves that have the potential for vaname shrimp aquaculture. The analysis required the following data: tidal data, topographic maps, network layouts, and water quality data for shrimp. This research was conducted by using the facilities at the brackish water and Marine Fisheries Laboratory of Probolinggo; an eco-green aquaculture circulation system was modeled and assessed using shrimp pond. First, the survey was located in Probolinggo City area, with coordinates 7° 44? 30.03? S and 113° 13? 58.68?. The methods used hydrological analysis: Water needs analysis for aquaculture irrigation based on the rules given by the Food and Agriculture Organization and water circulation analysis (Feedpedia, 2016). Material strength analysis of the embankments of the model pools: The comparison of area ratio toward embankment type dimension, design of dike and ponds, water filling discharge of brackish-water pond, and stages for ponds model design development. The results of the research suggested that dike should be planned to be as high as 1.5 m at the highest tide. The results of observations and tables of tidal recordings that had been verified then became the primary benchmark for planning the shrimp pond bottom. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the tidal height in the study location areas ranged from 2.5 to 3 m. A total of 80% of the area was used for production ponds.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to describe the types of non-paddy agricultural crops that can be cultivated on agricultural land with irrigation water sources from karst springs. This research was conducted at 10 locations of karst springs that are used to irrigate agricultural land in Tuban Regency. Determination of alternative of types of non-rice agricultural crops is done by integrating the irrigation water quality index model, criteria of relative tolerance of crops to salt, and criteria of non-rice agricultural crops that have high economic value. Irrigation water quality index values from karst springs at the study location ranged from 73.99 to 76.23, which is in the range of 70-85 with a low water use restriction. Based on the irrigation water quality index values it can be recommended that water supply for irrigation from karst springs is not carried out on salt sensitive crops. The non-paddy agricultural crop types that can be recommended to be planted in the study location are corn (Zea mays), soybeans (Glycine max), peanuts (Arachis hypogaea), sweet potatoes (Ipomoea batatas), tomatoes (Lycopersicon lycopersicum), eggplants (Solanum melongena), cucumbers (Cucumis sativus), spinach (Spinacia oleracea), melons (Cucumis melo), and watermelons (Citrullus lanatus).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existing conditions of handling areas and slums in Mojokerto in accordance with the SDG's framework, and determine the dominant factors that influence the handling of areas and slums in the region. The research method used is Mix Method. The results of the analysis show that the existing condition of slum areas in Kedungmaling Village, Sooko Sub-district, Mojokerto District falls into the Moderate Slum category. However, there are no factors that can be included in the logistic equation model in multivariate analysis with logistic regression on the analysis parameters for safe and resilient cities/settlements. In the context of the SDG's framework, the handling of slum areas and settlements in Mojokerto needs to be evaluated by taking into account the dimensions of sustainable development compiled in the SDG's concept, as well as the indicators used to measure (Sustainable Cities and Communities) in the SDG's. Thus, a strategy for handling slum areas and settlements in Mojokerto can be developed. Thus, strategies for handling slum areas and settlements can be developed that are more in line with the principles of sustainable development included in the SDG's.

Abstract

Made Lamongan Residential is located in an area that has a flat slope and is flanked by two rivers Kali Mengkuli and Kali Gorok, the problem in the study area is that the drainage system is unable to serve rainwater runoff. This is evidenced by the occurrence of inundation during the rainy season with high intensity. The height of the inundation that occurs in the Residential complex ± 60 cm with a reduction in inundation of more than 12 hours. The calculation results showed that there were several sections of the channel that occurred runoff with a planned Q5 flood discharge of 8.14 m3/sec. Based on the results of surveys in the field, many channels were found that had changed their dimensions due to the renovation of residents' houses. In this study, 1D channel hydraulic modelling was carried out using SWMM and HEC-RAS software to obtain a model that was close to the surface runoff conditions at the study site. The purpose of this study is to obtain the greatest handling of inundation in Made Residential in reducing the height of the inundation based on the model to be carried out, as well as obtaining the value of model calibration at the study site.

Abstract

The Bedadung watershed has undergone multiple changes in land cover, resulting in high erosion, sedimentation, flooding, and population pressure, which has caused an imbalance between the demand for clean water and the availability of raw water. Changes in land function resulted in decreasing infiltration capacity and increasing surface flow. This research aims to create a dynamic model of raw water availability in the Bedadung watershed to supply the domestic and non-domestic sectors in Jember. The availability of raw water is influenced by dynamic inputs such as population, industrial, and tourism growth, as well as the expansion of agricultural land. This model will produce a causal-loop diagram (CLD) between variables and then create a stock-flow diagram (SFD) using secondary data programmed by the Vensim PLE 10.1.1 application within 50 years. The modeling results show that the need for clean water increases over time, while the availability of raw water will decrease over time after 2025. In 2057, the clean water demand (463.29x106 m3y-1) was higher than the availability of groundwater (461.775x106 m3y-1), but it was still smaller than the availability of surface water (56,853,200x109 m3y-1). Water-carrying capacity will increase until 2025, then decrease over time.

Abstract

Air tanah merupakan semua air yang menempati rongga-rongga di dalam batuan dalam kondisi jenuh dengan pergerakan yang lambat dan waktu tinggal yang lama sehingga akan lama untuk pulih jika sudah tercemar. Kerentanan intrinsik air tanah terhadap pencemaran sangat berkaitan dengan kondisi fisik batuan, tanah, dan hidrogeologinya yang secara alami dapat menjadi pelindung bagi air tanah terhadap pencemaran. Sebagian besar penduduk di wilayah Kecamatan Ngoro Kabupaten Jombang masih menggunakan air tanah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan domestik. Aktivitas domestik maupun pertanian di wilayah setempat berpotensi mencemari air tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menilai tingkat kerentanan intrinsik air tanah terhadap pencemaran, untuk selanjutnya dilakukan penyusunan peta zonasinya. Sejumlah 23 contoh sumur gali milik penduduk diamati, diukur, dan dianalisis dengan mempertimbangkan aspek spasial dan temporal selama 5 bulan mulai bulan Juli 2023 hingga bulan November 2023. Penilaian tingkat kerentanan air tanah dilakukan dengan menggunakan Metode SINTACS berdasarkan tujuh parameter yaitu kedalaman muka air tanah (S), infiltrasi (I), zona aerasi (N), tekstur tanah (T), media akuifer (A), konduktivitas batuan (C), dan kemiringan lereng (S). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disusun peta zonasi kerentanan intrinsik air tanah terhadap pencemaran, dimana untuk peta bulan Juli 2023 hingga bulan September 2023 lokasi penelitian terbagi menjadi 4 zona kerentanan (sedang, agak tinggi, tinggi, sangat tinggi), sedangkan untuk bulan Oktober 2023 dan November 2023 terbagi menjadi 3 zona kerentanan (sedang, agak tinggi, dan tinggi). Peta zonasi tingkat kerentanan dapat digunakan oleh pemerintah sebagai acuan dalam pembuatan keputusan terkait kebijakan pengelolaan sumber daya air tanah untuk mencegah pencemaran air tanah.

Abstract

Pada Kelurahan Kasin, tepatnya di Jalan Andalas dan Jalan Malaka selalu mengalami permasalahan genangan atau banjir saat musim hujan. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurang maksimalnya fungsi saluran drainase eksisting dan perubahan tata guna lahan yang menyebabkan daerah resapan air berkurang. Selain itu, kebiasaan masyarakat yang membuang sampah sembarangan di saluran, kerusakan inlet, dan dimensi saluran yang terlalu kecil juga menjadi penyebab terjadinya genangan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada maka diperlukan penelitian menggunakan software EPA SWMM 5.1 untuk melakukan evaluasi dimensi saluran dan merencanakan solusi berbasis drainase berwawasan lingkungan (eco drainage) berupa resapan air yaitu sumur injeksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisa menggunakan SWMM 5.1 dengan debit banjir rancangan kala ulang 5 tahun sebesar 146,98 mm didapatkan hasil evaluasi kemampuan sistem drainase eksisting, terdapat 7 dari 45 saluran yang meluap. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menangani genangan sesuai lokasinya yaitu penerapan 43 buah sumur injeksi serta rehabilitasi saluran dengan total biaya sebesar Rp 2.077.153.000,00.

Abstract

Universitas Brawijaya Kampus Veteran memiliki permasalahan berupa perubahan tata guna lahan yang menyebabkan daerah injeksi air semakin berkurang dan kurang maksimalnya kinerja dari saluran drainase eksisting akibat sedimentasi saluran maupun sampah yang menumpuk di dalam saluran menyebabkan saluran tidak mampu lagi menampung limpasan air hujan sehingga meluap ke jalan dan terjadi genangan. Studi ini menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SWMM 5.2 dalam memodelkan jaringan drainase eksisting. Hasil simulasi yang didapat berupa evaluasi kemampuan saluran dimana dari 38 saluran, terdapat 8 saluran yang tidak mampu menampung debit banjir rancangan kala ulang 5 tahun. Adanya 43 sumur injeksi eksisting juga hanya memberikan pengaruh 20,56% dalam mereduksi genangan. Sehingga diperlukan upaya penanganan genangan dengan menerapkan konsep ekodrainase berupa penambahan sumur injeksi pada saluran, penerapan sumur resapan modern Magnatank, revitalisasi sumur injeksi eksisting, serta melakukan rehabilitasi saluran berupa peningkatan dimensi saluran dan normalisasi saluran. Total rencana anggaran biaya yang dibutuhkan dalam membebaskan UB Kampus Veteran dari genangan yaitu sebesar Rp 16.226.522.580.
