Abstract

This research intends to reveal the logical side of understanding God, from two great Prophets, Ibrahim and Musa through their stories in the Qur'an. This is because one of the elements of the Qur'anic mu'jizat, is a logical narrative that often appears in the dialogue of the prophets. Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Musa, were sent to a people who were smart enough to argue regarding their own misguidance. Both faced similar problems: facing idolaters and unjust rulers. In terms of requests to Allah, both even asked for almost the same thing: Prophet Ibrahim asked his descendants to be granted prophethood. Prophet Musa, asked that his brother be appointed Prophet. Both of them, at the level of trying to understand the Power of God itself: Prophet Ibrahim asked God about bringing the dead back to life; Prophet Moses asked about the knowledge that Prophet Khidir possessed. Methodically, this article is a literature study with a narrative approach to the same theme found in the stories of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Moses. This study concludes that there are at least two things in which both logically refute idolaters and rulers through narratives that are neatly recorded in the Qur'an. It also logically shows human aspects of kinship and curiosity. Contribution: This research reveals the logical approach in the Qur'anic narrative through the stories of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Musa in understanding divinity.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a tropical country, exhibits complex and varied weather patterns influenced by high temperatures, precipitation, and humidity throughout the year. This high weather variability often leads to uncertainties in weather forecasting, affecting sectors such as agriculture, transportation, and tourism. This study aims to predict the weather in Sleman Regency using the Random Forest algorithm to address forecasting uncertainties and provide more accurate predictions. The method involves collecting daily weather data from BMKG, conducting exploratory data analysis to understand data characteristics, and processing the data, including cleaning and normalization, before applying it to the Random Forest model. The study's goal is to improve the accuracy of weather predictions to support more precise and effective decision-making. Preliminary results show that the Random Forest model performs well with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.060, Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.009, Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 0.094, and R-squared of 0.691. The model evaluation indicates good performance in predicting weather in the study area. With these results, the developed weather prediction model holds significant potential to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency in various sectors reliant on weather conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to trace the evolutionary history of the internet across generations, culminating in the fifth generation (5G). Over the last decade, internet technology has undergone rapid development. Each generation of internet technology—1G, 2G, 3 G, 4G, and 5G—comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. This article provides an overview of the features and specifications of these internet generations. It examines when Indonesia first adopted internet technology, including identifying the figure known as the "father of the internet" in Indonesia. The internet serves as a medium through which people access information from distant places they may never visit in person. It has become an essential communication tool, enabling connections at any time and from any location. The internet is also instrumental in simplifying human tasks. As inherently social beings, humans find it difficult to detach from social media, relying on the internet for activities such as browsing, chatting, and online learning, all of which have become integral to daily life.

Abstract

Most secular studies still conclude that religion and science are not identical to each other. Western perspective sees that science was against religion because one of them is considered to inhibit the other. Philosophical elucidation was found the core problem lies in the basic assumptions and based on their respective definitions. As well as the characters and elements. Science is identical to observed facts, while religion is only connected to metaphysical matters. This background encourages the need for a revisionist study of the relationship between the two; bearing in mind, Islamic scientific traditions have historically placed both in the same position and intense dialogue. This study is a philosophical study using the literature method. The data analyzed is about the definitions and arguments about the worldview character in religion and science. The thematic content analysis produces that the right worldview can be a perspective that projects a meeting point between the two. This confirms that any scientific activities, even religious activities are based on different worldviews, and produce different assumptions and paradigms. The basis is the definition and character of each term.

Abstract

Understanding and constructing mathematical proofs is fundamental for students in abstract algebra courses. The computational thinking approach can aid the process of compiling mathematical proofs. This study examined the impact of integrating computational thinking components in constructing mathematical proofs. The researcher employed a sequential explanatory approach to ascertain the enhancement of algebraic proof capability based on computational thinking through the t- test. A total of 32 prospective teachers in mathematics education programs were provided with worksheets for seven meetings, which were combined with computational thinking components. Quantitative data were collected from initial and subsequent test instruments. Moreover, three prospective teachers were examined through case studies to investigate their mathematical proof capability using computational thinking components, including decomposition, abstraction, pattern recognition, and algorithmic thinking. The study's findings indicated that CT intervention enhanced students' logical reasoning, proof-writing abilities, and overall engagement with abstract algebra concepts. The findings illustrate that integrating computational thinking into learning strategies can provide a framework for developing higher-order thinking skills, especially in proving, which are essential for studies in mathematics education programs.
