Abstract

The use of conventional air conditioners is often inefficient and energy-wasteful. Users usually set the temperature manually, which can result in excessive energy use. In addition, the lack of an effective monitoring system makes it difficult to monitor air conditioning conditions, such as room temperature and humidity. This research aims to create an Air Conditioner monitoring and control device that can work automatically to control the temperature in a room and can be controlled through IOT. A temperature monitoring system and remote air conditioning controller is a tool that can be used to monitor room temperature conditions and control the temperature in the room to match what we want. This tool uses proportional type control (P) with a monitoring system utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The ESP 32 microcontroller is used as a microcontroller-based control device that has been facilitated with a wifi module. To measure the room temperature, a DHT11 sensor and an infrared LED are assembled and connected to a microcontroller as a data transmitter to the air conditioning unit. This system uses the arduino IDE application which has features to monitor and control the temperature in the room. The way this tool works is as a remote that controls the Air Conditioner to get the desired temperature in the room and the temperature read on the device can be monitored on a smartphone remotely.

Abstract

When the rainy season comes, the water in the Bengawan Solo river will experience an increase in water discharge and will result in the area being flooded in the watershed area so that the community will suffer material and life losses. So that a device to detect the increase in water discharge is injured remotely, to give a sign that the water has increased so that the community can save valuable goods. So that the community does not suffer many losses and can immediately evacuate goods and souls to a safe place. This research aims to create a device to detect the increase in water discharge in the Bengawan Solo river remotely. In making the tool, the author uses the prototype development method, the author searches for data with various sources and types of data. The author collected data from interviews with local residents and related agencies. From this study, the author produced a system to detect the increase in water discharge and type of rain by using a water level sensor, rain sensor and ESP 32 microcontroller which can be monitored through a telegram application remotely using an internet connection. The tool made by the author can detect the river water level from level 3, level 2 and level 1 and also detect the type of rain that occurs around the river.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan literasi digital pengajar dan peserta didik TPA Miftahul Huda, Desa Wirun Mojolaban Sukoharjo. Dalam konteks globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi, kebutuhan akan akses informasi yang cepat dan akurat semakin mendesak. Namun, kenyataannya adalah bahwa pengajar dan peserta didik di TPA Miftahul Huda belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan potensi teknologi informasi, khususnya dalam hal penggunaan Google Search dan Translate. Solusinya adalah pelatihan Google Search dan Google Translate dalam proses pembelajaran sehari-hari di TPA. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan. Bersadarkan hasil evaluasi rata-rata nilai untuk pretest Google Search 92.67 dan pretest Google Translate 80.67. Rata-Rata nilai untuk posttest Google Search 94.67 dan posttest Google Translate 88.00. Evaluasi ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang Google Search dan Google Translate.

Abstract

Students must have high discipline, creativity, and work ethic when dealing with their tasks to become quality resources. However, some aspects that impact student performance include locus of control and academic proxination. Therefore, this study aims to assess the extent of the impact of Locus of Control and Academic Procrastination on Student Learning Achievement. We used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The study population was first-year students of the Nautical Study Program at Makassar Polytechnic of Shipping Science. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a sample of 92 students. Data collection tools using questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results showed that locus of control and academic procrastination significantly influence student achievement. In this case, locus of control has a positive relationship with student achievement, which means that the better the locus of control of students, the better student achievement. Academic procrastination has a negative relationship with student learning achievement; the higher the academic procrastination, the lower the student's learning achievement.

Abstract

Children with autism spectrum disorder often face challenges in developing motor skills and social interaction abilities. This research aimed to develop an interactive motion capture-based therapy game that could assist autistic children in practicing their motor skills through an enjoyable play experience. The Kalman Filter optimization method was employed to enhance the accuracy and quality of motion detection in the motion capture process. The development of this therapy game involved consultations with therapists, psychologists, and relevant experts in designing game activities tailored to the needs of autistic children. Motion capture technology was utilized to capture the children's body movements in real-time, while the Kalman Filter algorithm was implemented to filter and optimize the acquired motion data. The game interface was designed to be simple, featuring attractive visual objects, bright colors, and familiar sounds. The testing results demonstrated that the application of the Kalman Filter method could increase motion detection accuracy up to 90%, ensuring a more responsive and immersive play experience for the children. This therapy game proved effective in improving motor skills, body coordination, as well as motivation and engagement of autistic children in the therapy process. This research contributes to the development of an enjoyable and effective interactive therapy solution to assist autistic children in developing essential skills for daily life

Abstract

Sistem monitoring suhu dan kelembaban ruang server di RSUD Ir. Soekarno Kabupaten Sukoharjo yang masih dilakukan dengan cara konvensional memiliki resiko human error serta tidak dapat memantau kondisi suhu dan kelembaban ruang server secara real-time, selain itu untuk mengontrol suhu AC harus dilakukan langsung oleh petugas menggunakan remote AC. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun alat yang dapat memantau dan mengontrol suhu dan kelembaban ruang server secara otomatis dan dapat diakses dimanapun. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode waterfall. Alat yang dikembangkan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP8266 sebagai pengatur utama sistem dengan sensor DHT11 sebagai pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban, KY-005 IR Transmitter Module sebagai pengontrol suhu AC dan aplikasi android untuk monitoring. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian disimpulkan bahwa alat dapat bekerja dengan baik yaitu mampu mengukur suhu dan kelembaban ruang server dengan error pembacaan sebesar 0.46⁰C untuk data suhu dan 2.8% RH untuk data kelembaban ruang, nilai error tersebut berada dalam rentang error rate sensor DHT11 yaitu ±2⁰C untuk suhu dan ±5% RH untuk kelembaban. Alat juga mampu mengirimkan hasil pembacaan suhu dan kelembaban  ke aplikasi android dan mengirimkan notifikasi serta menaikkan suhu AC ketika nilai suhu berada dibawah 18⁰C dan menurunkan suhu AC ketika nilai suhu diatas 20⁰C.

Abstract

Penggunaan listrik yang berlebihan masih sering dijumpai di lingkungan masyarakat, seperti lalai dalam mematikan perangkat listrik yang sudah tidak terpakai sehingga membuat penggunaan energi listrik yang berlebihan membuat biaya pemakaian listrik lebih besar. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penulis merancang sebuah prototype smart energy meter dan kontroling alat listrik berbasis Internet of Things dengan menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266 dan sensor PZEM-004Tv30.   Relay untuk mengontrol penggunaan listrik secara manual pada sistem. Penggunaan lcd sebagai penampil langsung pada alat, dan web sebagai pusat kontrol pada laptop atau smartphone. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem monitoring smart energy meter dengan menampilkan tegangan, arus, daya, dan harga penggunaan listrik serta kontrol perangkat alat listrik menggunakan web.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall, yaitu Requirement Analys, System Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing, dan Operation and Maintenance. Hasil dari penelitian ini prototype smart energy meter dan kontrol alat listrik dapat membaca nilai voltage, current, power, energy, frequency, pf , dan dapat menampilkan biaya penggunaan listrik pada LCD. Sistem ini memiliki persentase error pada pengujian voltase sebesar 0,73%. Data hasil pengujian sistem dikirim ke website dan dapat dipantau dengan visualisasi grafik. Penggunaan relay sebagai kontrol pada sistem yang dioptimasi dengan menggunakan tombol pada web.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pintu otomatis menggunakan Arduino dan sensor PIR dengan mempertimbangkan kearifan lokal rumah adat Sumatera Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pembuatan, dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini efektif dalam menjaga keamanan dan meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna rumah adat, sambil mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya tradisional. Sistem juga bekerja sesuai jarak ideal yang ada yaitu 3 meter. Implementasi teknologi ini dapat dijadikan contoh bagi upaya menjaga dan mengembangkan warisan budaya melalui solusi teknologi yang tepat. Kesimpulannya, penggabungan kearifan lokal dengan teknologi modern dalam pengembangan pintu otomatis merupakan langkah yang penting untuk mempertahankan dan menghormati nilai-nilai budaya dalam era digital ini.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyakat bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan aspek produksi jahe instan pada Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) OKESOSGEN di Desa Pucung, Kismantoro, Wonogiri. Tahapan pengabdian masyakat terdiri dari analisis permasalah, pelatihan dan evaluasi serta pendampingan. Solusi yang ditawar pada pelatihan ini adalah perbaikan packing, inovasi dalam formula dan komposisi, selanjutnya adalah peralatan yang dikasih ke mitra. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyakat meningkatan pengetahuan mitra pada aspek produksi sebesar 27%. Berdasarkan wawancara pelatihan produksi sangat membantu dalam penguatan kualitas produk jahe instan.

Abstract

This paper describes the identification process of DC motor system with experimental technique using indetification tool in Matlab. After the DC motor model system is obtained, the optimal control technique in this case using linear quadratic regulator (LQR) is used to view the system response step. In this research, the motor modification system module with Arduino DC was developed to facilitate in terms of getting the model of DC motor by approaching first and second order models. This module is integrated between Arduino and Simulink Matlab which is used as input-output data acquisition. The result of the system identification process is a model of DC Motor with second order ARX (Auto Regressive Exogenous) modeling. Furthermore, the implementation of LQR control technique with parameter of Q element element is sought by multiplication of transpose matrix C system with matrix C of the system. While the R element matrix in tuning experimentally with value 0.000001. From the test results obtained that LQR control produces a better system response time constant when compared to PID control.
