Abstract

Pupuk organik cair dapat berasal dari limbah pertanian tidak tidak memiliki nilai jual, dapat berdampak pada pencermaran lingkungan dan belum dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat. Sedangkan limbah peternakan berasal dari limbah rumah potong hewan (RPH) seperti cairan rumen dan bolus yang belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik, sehingga berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Limbah pertanian dan peternakan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik cair. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengetahui perbandingan komposisi dan lama fermenatsi cairan rumen dan limbah pertanian terhadap kandungan POC. Urgensi dari penelitian yang dilakukan sebagai bahan informasi dasar yang berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan limbah pertanian dan cairan rumen sapi sebagai pupuk organik cair (POC) yang dapat digunakan oleh petani untuk mendukung pertanian organik dikabupetan Merauke. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap faktorial (RAL) dengan 3 Perlakuan dan 3 Ulangan yang terdiri dari yaitu, Perlakuan I 5%, Perlakuan II 10% dan Perlakuan III 15% yang akan dilakukan dengan fermentasi. Perlakuan waktu selama 1 minggu, 2 minggu dan 3 minggi. Sampel penelitian kemudian akan dianalisis dengan pengiriman sampel ke laboraturium UNHAS. Parameter pengataman yaitu pH dan analisis kualitas pupuk organik cair meliputi P2O5 dan K2O. Dari hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa nilai P2O5 tertinggi teradap pada PIII (urea 15%) yaitu 0,640 pada minggu ke 2 dan K2O pada perlakuan PIII (15%) yaitu 0,063 minggu ke 3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pupuk organik cair limbah pertanian dan cairan rumen belum memenuhi standar Kementerian Pertanian.

Abstract

The availability of complete land resource data and information is needed to support sustainable agricultural development programs. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of land suitability as well as the limiting factors for rice, corn and shallots in the newly opened land of Bokem Village, Merauke District. Soil samples taken from the field were analyzed in the laboratory. Parameters observed were soil texture, C-organic, N-total, P2O5, K2O, CEC, and DHL. Data analysis was carried out by matching or comparing land requirements for plants and land properties in the study area. The results of this comparison show the level of land suitability for corn, soybeans and peanuts which include S1 (very suitable), S2 (appropriate), S3 (marginally suitable), N1 (currently not suitable) and N2 (permanently inappropriate). The results showed that the land suitability class for lowland rice was classified as marginal suitability class (S3) with limiting factors for nutrient retention (f) and available nutrients (n). For corn plants belonging to the current suitability class are not suitable (N1) with limiting factors for nutrient retention (f) and available nutrients (n), while for shallot plants (S3) with limiting factors for water availability (w) nutrient retention (f) and available nutrients (n). Basically the existing limiting factors can be corrected by fertilizing and liming.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mash feed form, pellets that use adhesives and without using adhesives on the growth rate of broiler chicken body weight. The treatment given in this study is the form of feed, A1: mash form, A2: pellet form without the addition of adhesive and A3: pellet using adhesive. The livestock used was 45 heads. The data were analyzed in a descriptive statistical manner. The results showed that the feed form affected the growth rate of broiler chicken body weight, with regression analysis obtained the equation Y = 364.38x + 192.88 with a correlation value (r) = 0.9882. The average growth rate of body weight in chickens given pelletized feed using adhesive (A3) has a higher value than the treatment of pelleted feed without adhesive and mash, with an average value of body weight growth rate of 387.56 g / head/week. It is necessary to pay attention to the particle size of feed ingredients to guarantee homogeneity. This will affect the nutrients as well as the digestibility of the feed made.
