Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and work discipline through work motivation on employee performance at the Pekalongan City Communication and Information Service. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were 62 employees of the Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Pekalongan. Sampling in this research used population study techniques or saturated samples, namely all employees. The data collection technique used is by obtaining data obtained from questionnaires. The statistical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). This research data processing uses SmartPLS software version 4.0. The research results show that (1) organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction; (2) work discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance; (3) organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation; (4) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation; (5) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (6) work motivation is able to mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance; and (7) work motivation is able to mediate work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

One of the main issues is leadership, which has not yet fully motivated and guided employees effectively, especially in facing production demands and market changes. This study aims to determine and analyze how leadership, work environment, and job characteristics affect employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable. This type of research is correlational, with data collection using questionnaires. The population of this study consists of all employees at the Goyor Sarung factory owned by Bapak Gampang in Pemalang. The sample of this study is 112 people using a saturated sampling technique. This research uses the SPSS version 25 data processing tool. The results show that leadership has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Job characteristics have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction. The leadership variable has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable. The work environment has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable. Job characteristics have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable.

Abstract

Orang tua menghadapi tantangan dalam menyediakan pembiayaan dalam mendukung pendidikan anak. Jumlah murid yang putus sekolah meningkat salah satunya dikarenakan permasalahan biaya pendidikan. Orang tua belum menyiapkan dana simpanan untuk anaknya. Kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesdaran orang tua murid mengenai pentingnya menyiapkan dana pendidikan anak dimulai dari sekarang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 8 Bendan yang juga diikuti oleh mahasiswa asing dari Filipina yang ikut menceritakan bagaimana pengasuhan anak di Filipina . Terdapat 48 orang tuan yang hadir terdiri dari kelas 1 – kelas 3. Metode yang digunakan ialah identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan, penyampaian materi dan evaluasi.  Pada analisis data digunakan teknik analisis kualitatif. Hasil pada kegiatan PkM ini terlihat pada test yang dilaksanakan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Seperti pemahaman literasi keuangan yang mengalami peningkatan 78%, pengaturan manajemen keuangan meingkat 83%, rencana kepemilikan tabungan sebesar 83% dan rencana memiliki usaha tambahan sebesar 48%. Diharapkan dari kegiatan ini akan menjadikan meningkatkan jumlah anak yang bersekolah dan menurunkan angka putus sekolah khususnya di Kota Pekalongan.

Abstract

This training aimed to identify the level of students' thinking ability related to brain cyber so that students could know the positive and negative aspects of the use of artificial intelligence. The training was attended by 42 students. Brain decay as a result of excessive use of brain cyber had several negative impacts, namely: (1) affecting language and behavioral development, (2) having academic impacts, (3) providing access to illegal content, violence, and dangerous sex, (4) leading to aggressive behavior. The results of the community service showed several improvements in students' thinking abilities as assessed from student understanding, namely: (1) 19% of students really understood, 79% of students understood, and 2% of students had less understanding about brain cyber and brain rot; (2) 21% of students really understood, 69% of students understood, and 10% of students had less understanding about the impact of brain cyber and brain rot; (3) 62% of students stated that this training was very useful and 38% of students stated that this training was useful; (4) 43% of students stated that this training was very appropriate and 57% of students stated that this training was in accordance with real conditions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of career opportunity and job involvement on employee performance at Bank Muamalat KC Semarang Raya. The sample consisted of 41 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SmartPLS version 4.0. The results show that career opportunity has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, while job involvement has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, career opportunities and job involvement have a significant influence on employee performance. Based on the coefficient of determination test, 58% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the two independent variables, while the remaining 42% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings indicate that job involvement is a key factor that directly drives performance improvement. Meanwhile, the perception of career opportunities does not yet have a significant impact, suggesting a need to reassess the effectiveness of the organization’s career development system.

Abstract

To establish a good business, a strong entrepreneurial spirit is needed. SMAN 1, SMAN 2, SMAN 3 Jombang students can be supported by the education of the driving school project, parents' work, and family environment, which can shape the mindset and interest of each student in the world of entrepreneurship. Based on this phenomenon, the authors are interested in conducting research by taking the title: "The Effect of the Driving School Project, Parents' Occupation and Family Environment on the Entrepreneurial Interest of Students of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang ". This study aimed to determine the effect of the driving school project, Parents' Employment, and Family Environment, on the Entrepreneurial Interest of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang students. This research uses a quantitative research design with a linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between variables X1, X2, and X3 based on the well-being of students in the Jombang schools.  The results showed that 1) the driving school project variable did not affect the entrepreneurial interest of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang students. 2) The variable of parents' occupation affects the entrepreneurial interest of students of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang. 3) Family environment variables affect the entrepreneurial interest of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang students. 4) The variables of driving school projects, parents' work, and the family environment simultaneously and positively affect the variable of entrepreneurial interest of students of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang. Author's suggestions: 1) The school must add and provide Facilities for driving school project activities. 3) The family must provide support for children's entrepreneurial desires.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menyampaikan kegiatan praktis yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat dan dapat pangsung diterapkan dalam berbagai kegiatan. Kegiatan pendampingan pembuatan foto produk kuliner digunakan sebagai upaya memperkenalkan produk kuliner melalui di media sosial. Materi Pendampingan dan pelatihan kewirausahaan dengan materi memanfaatkan penggunaan media sosial sebagai media promosi, materi membuat foto produk kuliner dengan memanfaatkan kamera handpone. Metode pelaksanaan dengan melakukan kordinasi dan pendaftaran di prodi pendidikan ekonomi peserta pelatihan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan pelatihan berupa pemberian materi kewirausahaan dan membuat foto produk kuliner sebagai konten untuk promosi produk. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diantara peserta mendapatkan materi singkat tentang kewirausahaan dan materi membuat foto produk kuliner yang dilakukan langsung dengan praktik dan evaluasi konten yang dibuat. Manfaat dari pendampingan ini, peserta dapat membuat promosi dengan memaksimalkan foto produk kuliner sebagai dagangan, mengatur foto dengan berbagai variasi tampilan gambar tambahan dan membuat foto promosi lebih cerah, menarik untuk dipromosikan dalam media sosial sehingga diharapkan menjadi lebih diminati oleh calon konsumen.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan faktor penting di dalam suatu organisasi maupun di suatu perusahaan. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak akan berjalannya suatu organisasi ataupun perusahaan apabila tidak ada sumber daya manusia yang baik. Hal itu juga tidak akan berjalan dengan baik apabila tidak adanya manajemen pengelolaan terhadap sumber daya manusia yang berada di suatu organisasi maupun perusahaan. Apapun bentuk serta tujuannya, organisasi atau perusahaan dibuat berlandaskan visi dan misi untuk mencapai tujuan bagi kepentingan manusia dan dikelola oleh manusia pula. Pengelolaan manajemen sumber daya manusia sangat penting untuk dilakukan dan karya artikel ini untuk menjelaskan analisis singkat mengenai upaya manajerial yang seperti apa agar bisa meningkatkan kinerja serta motivasi melalui Reward System agar mencapai kesuksesan di suatu organisasi maupun perusahaan.

Abstract

The analysis of masculinity in this movie uses Barthes semiotics theory. The researchers conduct masculinity research because it raises the phenomenon of heinous persecution based on defending his lover. The aim of this research is first to comprehend the characteristics of masculinity in terms of denotative, connotative, and myth of the main character in the movie Tarung Sarung. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with a semiotic model. The results of the research conclude that first, there are seven characteristics of the main character's masculinity found in this research, namely Physical; Deni Ruso has a handsome physique and courage, Functional; Deni Ruso helps people around him and his family, Sexual Aggressive; Deni Ruso wants to apologize and express feelings, Emotional; Deni Ruso can control emotions, Intellectual; Deni Ruso is not careless in making decisions, Interpersonal; Deni Ruso being able to become a leader in his environment and Personal Characteristics; Deni Ruso as a man who is financially successful. Semiotics helps analyze the implied meaning of the gradual process of forming masculine characters by supporting the theory of masculinity characteristics applied in this research. So, guidelines are found to form masculine attitudes and characters for every man.

Abstract

AbstractExploring the judgment evaluation is conducted to see the pattern of the social sanction and its impact in giving self-reflection to readers as public figures in Indonesia through systemic functional linguistics theory: appraisal. The news text about corruption that are chosen to be analyzed are namely: Lukas Enembe case as a governor, Sudrajat Dimyati case as a judge, and Ferdy Sambo as policeman that involve in criminal case.  The data are analyzed by using appraisal theory in judgment process. The data source is the three online news texts that have mentioned some criticisms to the Indonesian officials, namely: National Tempo News, National Okezone News, and Kompas News. The findings show that each news text has their own way to express the social sanction which uses high negative propriety and negative veracity. The finding is benefit to see how the news text show critical expression that can influence the readers’ emotion. The novelty is finding the pattern of judgment expressions used in three online news texts through appraisal theory but it is limited on the evaluation of judgment.Keywords: judgment, value, corruption cases, appraisal. AbstrakEksplorasi nilai judgment dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bentuk sanksi sosial dan dampaknya dalam memberikan refleksi diri pada pembaca sebagai tokoh masyarakat di Indonesia melalui teori linguistic sistemik fungsional: appraisal. Teks berita tentang korupsi yang dipilih untuk dianalisa terdiri dari: kasus Lukas Enenbe sebagai seorang gubernur, kasus Sudrajat Dimyati sebagai seorang hakim, dan kasus Ferdy Sambo sebagai seorang polisi yang terlibat kasus kriminal. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan teori appraisal dalam bentuk proses judgment. Sumber data merupakan tiga teks berita online, yaitu Berita Nasional Tempo, Berita Nasional Okezone, dan Berita Kompas. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing teks berita memiliki cara sendiri untuk mengekspresikan sanksi social yang menggunakan negative propriety dan negative veracity yang tinggi. Temuan ini penting untuk melihat bagaimana teks berita menunjukkan ekspresi kritis yang dapat mempengaruhi emosi pembaca. Kebaruan penelitian dalam bentuk pola ekspesi judgment yang digunakan dalam tiga teks berita online melalui teori appraisal namun penelitian ini masih terbatas pada penilaian judgment.
