Abstract

Digital disruption in the world of education refers to the impact of technology on traditional education systems and models, where the current education system is felt to need to be adjusted to the progress of the times and the needs of students. The business model of education in this digital era requires the innovation and creativity of teachers. After the Covid 19 pandemic, in addition to providing challenges in the world of education, it also provides an opportunity where students and educators are accustomed to online learning applications, teleconference applications, or collaboration applications that were previously not or rarely used by the world of Education. Many apps have been created to make online learning easier. Metaverse has been around since 2010, but due to the pandemic, the use of metaverse in learning is again being used with the development of Virtual reality, extended reality, and augmented reality technology. These three technologies can display a virtual environment just like the original environment. The method used to design metaverse-based learning is to use the ADDIE research and development model while learning development follows the stages of the Dick and Carey model. The results of field trials using survey methods and experiments on 20 junior high school students for one semester using the metaverse, resulted in a score of 4.82 with the conclusion of excellent learning material, students felt very happy, motivated to complete tasks, and always followed the learning stages designed in the form of games. Implementing the metaverse in learning can increase student engagement, creativity, technology skills, collaboration, and interaction as well as improve learning experiences that are more fun and engaging.

Abstract

This study addresses the growing need for innovative strategies to enhance student engagement in digital learning environments by investigating the effects of gamification on student motivation and academic performance within Learning Management Systems (LMS). Despite its increasing adoption, the long-term impact of gamification on learning outcomes remains underexplored, particularly in structured educational settings. Using an experimental design, students were divided into two groups: the experimental group, which used a gamified LMS, and the control group, which used a traditional LMS. Results indicated that the experimental group exhibited significantly higher engagement levels (85%) compared to the control group (62%) and spent, on average, 30% more time on the LMS. Participation in optional activities was 40% higher in the gamified group. Motivation analysis revealed increased intrinsic motivation (72%) and extrinsic motivation (78%) among the experimental group, supported by features such as points and badges. Academic performance improvements were also evident, with the experimental group achieving 10% higher final exam scores and a 15% higher assignment completion rate. While findings suggest that gamification enhances student engagement and learning outcomes, feedback on competitive elements like leaderboards highlights the need for careful design considerations to balance motivation and inclusivity. This study provides empirical insights into the effectiveness of gamification as a scalable and adaptive strategy for enhancing digital education, informing future developments in educational technology.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop an adaptive change management framework to enhance the capacity of microcredit borrowers while strengthening the credit risk management model at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). Currently, BRI faces significant challenges in managing credit risk quality within the micro segment, which accounts for approximately 37.1% of the total loan portfolio. Despite its strategic role in promoting financial inclusion and economic empowerment, this segment continues to exhibit a relatively higher Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio compared to other segments. This condition results in substantial provisioning burdens and increases the potential for moral hazard, driven by interest rate subsidies that are not supported by an effective mechanism for debtor graduation.Design/Methodology/Approach: This study employs a qualitative approach, employing thematic analysis, and synthesizes the ADKAR model and the Integrative Change Model (ICM) into an original framework termed the Integrated Cascade Framework (ICF). The ICF framework integrates change simultaneously across three layers: strategic–governance, operational–organizational, and ecosystem–debtor behavior.Findings: The findings indicate that this integration can align the corporate risk appetite with tangible changes in debtor behavior toward graduation. The implementation of the Integrated Cascade Framework (ICF) is expected to foster a more sustainable, well-controlled, and adequate microcredit distribution pattern, thereby significantly enhancing national productive capacity.

Abstract

The shift to digital radiology is frequently hindered by data fragmentation and restricted mobility for healthcare professionals. This research addresses these deficiencies by developing an Enterprise Architecture (EA) blueprint for hospital radiology departments using the TOGAF ADM framework. The design emphasizes HL7 standards for administrative data transfer and DICOM protocols for imaging, featuring a web-based Mobile Viewer using the WADO protocol for remote high-resolution access. Architectural validation via gap analysis demonstrates that the proposed integration can theoretically eliminate manual data entry between HIS and RIS-PACS through an HL7 broker mechanism, potentially shortening clinical report turnaround times. However, this study is limited to architectural validation and does not include live clinical deployment. The proposed architecture offers a scalable roadmap for "film-less" environments, though further longitudinal studies are required to assess long-term clinical user satisfaction.

Abstract

The global palm oil industry is currently confronting a sustainability trilemma involving production efficiency, regulatory compliance (e.g., EUDR), and environmental circularity. Existing supply chain models are characterized by fragmented information systems, where Operational Technology (OT) remains disconnected from Enterprise IT, resulting in traceability gaps and underutilized biomass waste. This study addresses these challenges by designing a comprehensive Enterprise Architecture (EA) for a Circular Smart Palm ecosystem. Adopting a Design Science Research (DSR) methodology, the research applies the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM), supported by ArchiMate 3.1 modeling, to develop an integrated architectural blueprint. The proposed architecture consolidates blockchain-enabled traceability, digital export compliance, IoT-driven bioenergy valorization, and value-added kernel processing into a unified enterprise framework. The resulting architecture is qualitatively validated through architectural consistency analysis and gap assessment between the As-Is and To-Be states. From a theoretical perspective, this study contributes to Enterprise Architecture literature by extending EA as an integrative mechanism for circular bioeconomy implementation in sustainability-driven agribusiness ecosystems. The findings demonstrate that enterprise-level architectural integration can transform sustainability compliance from an operational constraint into a strategic enabler for traceability, circular value creation, and digital governance.
