Abstract

There's a lot of cyber attacks going on right now, so the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR) has to get serious about preventing them. One of the information system that contains critical public data need to be secured is Portal Perizinan. In order to maintain information security, an evaluation should be carried out to assess the level of readiness (comprehensiveness and consistency) of the implementation of information security based on the SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2013 criteria using the Information Security Index. (KAMI Index). The five areas assessed aim to determine the level of organization preparedness in the implementation of information security. Obtained a score of 31 for the level of organization dependence on electronic systems, with a high level of category. The presence of technology security is at level I through to level II and our index measures 351, which means that the level of maturity of the new ISMS is at the stage of Achievement of the Basic Framework. From the results of this case study it can be seen that the state of information security readiness in the Ministry of PUPR still needs to be improved to meet ISO 27001 standard.

Abstract

Smart city development has grown rapidly in the decades since 4G and 5G technologies have been released. Moreover, a highly reliable network is required to support the Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile access within a city. Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology can provide huge bitrate transmission and high-speed communications. In the research, a backbone based on Free-Space Optical (FSO) communication (FSO) is designed through simulation to provide a Li-Fi access network with a high capacity data rate. The originality of the proposed method is the implementation of double filtering techniques, which gives an advantage when forwarding the signal to a node and improves the quality of the signal received by the Li-Fi. The FSO as the Optical Relaying Network (ORN) is designed with a configuration of 12 channels of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) amplified by optical amplifiers in the transmitter and receiver. The signal output is filtered by a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) and a Gaussian filter. In the simulation, the ORN has node spacing in the range of 500 m to 2,000 m. Then, the data transmission rate at 120 Gbps is provided by the implementation of DWDM channels to serve as an access network. From the simulation, the FSO backbone can optimally deliver highly reliable Li-Fi access networks. When the nodes are spaced in a 500–2,000 m range, the Bit-Error-Rate (BER) performance is produced at the order of 10−6.

Abstract

Biometric identification is an alternative for a security system that consists of physiological characteristics and behavioral characteristics. Physiological characteristics are relatively stable physical characteristics such as fingerprints, hand lines, facial features, tooth patterns, and the retina of the eye. Behavioral characteristics such as signature, speech patterns, or typing rhythm. The function of a signature is proof in a document which states that the party signing, knows and agrees to all the contents of a document. There are several stages in the signature pattern image recognition system, namely the signature pattern image is produced through a scanning process, then the resulting digital signature image is cut (scaling) manually, the next process is thresholding, edge detection, image division, and representation. input value. The method used in recognizing signature patterns is the learning vector quantization (LVQ) artificial neural network method and kohonen self-organizing map (SOM). In Learning vector quantization, the initial weights are updated using existing patterns. Meanwhile, in the self-organizing map method, Kohonen takes initial weights randomly, then these weights are updated until they can classify themselves into the desired number of classes. The processes that occur in the artificial neural network method require a relatively long time. This is influenced by the large number of data samples used as a means of updating the trained weights. From the results of the research conducted, it shows that the learning rate value that was built around 0.2 < α ≤ (10) ^ (-2) can produce better signature pattern recognition accuracy.

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak has changed the learning system in Indonesia into distance learning, better known as online learning. In determining student learning outcomes on student learning satisfaction with distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, a study was carried out using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is applied research, in which this research is directed to obtain information that can be used to solve problems. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) by comparing the results of the decision of the SAW method between the weighting based on the Fuzzy Logic method and the weighting based on the ROC method. The subjects involved in this study were 36 students of Vocational High School (SMK). Data collection in the study was carried out using direct observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The criteria contained in the questionnaire are factors that affect the process of student learning outcomes on learning satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic. The criteria used are device ownership, accessibility, ease of obtaining materials, method accuracy, monitoring ability, interactivity, and independent learning. From the seven criteria, the priority scale is determined. The results showed that the analysis of the search for weight scores using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method using Fuzzy Logic and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) using the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method resulted in different sub-criteria weighting scores, so it can be said that the combination of SAW- ROC provides a more accurate and more selective selection of the number of students.

Abstract

Evacuation is characterized by rapid movement of people in unsafe locations or disaster sites to safer locations. The traffic management strategy for commonly used evacuations is the use of Shoulder-Lane, contra-flowing traffic and gradual evacuation. Contra-flow has been commonly used in traffic management by changing traffic lanes during peak hours. To implement the contra-flow operation, there are two main problems that must be decided, namely Optimal contra-flow lane configuration problem (OCLCP) and optimal contra-flow scheduling. Within the OCSP there are two approaches that can be used: zone scheduling and flow scheduling. Problem of contra-flow and zone scheduling problem is basically an Emergence evacuation route planning (EERP) issue. This research will discuss EERP with contra-flow and zone scheduling which can guarantee the movement of people in disaster area to safe area in emergency situation.
