Abstract

This study aims to; (1) analyze the history of the formation of Kotaraja Village; (2) describe the response of the people of Kotaraja Village to cultural elements that come from outside; (3) knowing the history of cultural development in Kotaraja Village before 1990; and (4) analyzing the cultural history of Kotaraja Village from 1990-2021. The approach used is qualitative by specifically using the historical method. In the historical method, there are stages that must be passed, namely, heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The result of this research is that Kotaraja Village has a relatively long history. This is closely related to the conception of culture in it. Since before 1990, Kotaraja Village has had a thick art and tradition. The cultural history of Kotaraja Village from 1990-2021 starts from the existence of the division of the Kotaraja Village area which is quite complex. The rapid developments in the field of culture after that were as follows: (1) the existence of Peresean Arts which was routinely carried out; (2) the establishment of the Jamiq Raudhatul Muttaqin Mosque as a Cultural Conservation Object; and (3) the release of the Kotaraja Village Tourism Information Center in 2021.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of digital literacy on the Integrated Social Sciences learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 1 Selong, East Lombok. The research method adopts a quantitative approach. The sampling technique was stratified random sampling. Stratified random sampling is a sampling technique in which the population is not homogeneous. To accurately describe the characteristics of a heterogeneous population, the population is divided into uniform strata, and each stratum is randomly sampled. The results of this study show that the R-squared value is 0.427. It can be concluded that the influence of digital skills on students' learning outcomes is 42.7%, and the rest is due to other influences. The R value of 0.31 is within the range of 0.21 to 0.40, so the relationship between these two variables belongs to the weak category. In the Coefficient column, you can see that the intercept value is 55.547 and the X value is 0.210. Therefore, we can create the regression equation: Y = 55.547 + 0.210X. Based on the regression equation, we can say that each unit increase in digital skills increases learning outcomes by 0.210.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the planning, implementation, and evaluation process on strengthening the character education of students at SMAN 1 Aikmel, East Lombok. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a descriptive qualitative type. The research site was at SMAN 1 Aikmel, East Lombok, with the subject of the research being the principal and the research informants being the student affairs and teachers. While the data collection technique uses observation, interview and documentation techniques, the data validation technique is carried out by triangulation, namely the triangulation technique of data sources and methods, then the data analysis technique is carried out in several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions drawing or verifying. The results of this study obtained an overview that: first, planning has been carried out as best as possible starting from the program planning meeting of goal formulation, strategy preparation, policy determination, procedure mapping, and program improvement involving all components of the school, deputy principal for curriculum, student affairs, infrastructure, public relations, treasurer, educators and education staff and school committees.; Second, the implementation of strengthening the character of students runs well through organizing activities and actions focusing on the character values of students; Third, the evaluation of the process of strengthening students' character education through activities to supervise the implementation of activities, reflect, analyze and follow up.

Abstract

Masalah dalam keterampilan komunikasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas V menjadi permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan prestasi belajar siswa dengan menerapkan paradigma diskusi kelompok kecil (SGD) berbantu media Lapbook sebagai merupakan tujuan dalam penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni penelitian tindakan kelas. 16 Siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Rajawana terdiri atas 9 orang laki-laki dan 7 orang perempuan merupakan subjek dalam penelitian ini. Lembar observasi dan lembar tes menjadi instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengimplementasian strategi pembelajaran Small Group Discussion berbantu media Lapbook, keterampilan komunikasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SD N 2 Rajawana dapat meningkat. Keterampilan komunikasi siswa pada siklus I hanya 62% , kemudian terjadi peningkatan 81,95% pada sikus II. Peningkatan prestasi belajar juga dilihat dari hasil persentase siklus I 34,3% dan siklus II 83,35%.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize management functions to improve the effectiveness of muhadhoroh activities at Pondok Pesantren Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa. Management functions, including planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling, are crucial for supporting the success of dakwah and educational activities at the pesantren. Muhadhoroh, as a medium for developing public speaking and dakwah skills among santri, faces several challenges such as low participation, insufficient guidance from supervisors, and inconsistent scheduling. A qualitative case study approach using observation and in-depth interviews was employed to examine the implementation of muhadhoroh management. The results indicate that while management functions are being carried out, optimization is needed, especially in coordination, discipline, and systematic, structured periodic evaluations. Recommendations include strengthening scheduling regulations, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and establishing regular evaluation mechanisms to enhance the quality and sustainability of muhadhoroh activities. With improved management, these activities are expected to more effectively foster communication skills and the dakwah character of santri in a sustainable manner. The findings contribute significantly to the development of pesantren educational management aimed at strengthening educational quality and the social role of pesantren in the community. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan fungsi manajemen guna meningkatkan efektivitas pelaksanaan muhadhoroh di Pondok Pesantren Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa. Fungsi manajemen meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian yang sangat vital dalam mendukung keberhasilan kegiatan dakwah dan pembelajaran di pesantren. Muhadhoroh sebagai salah satu media pembinaan kemampuan berbicara dan dakwah bagi santri, menghadapi sejumlah tantangan seperti rendahnya partisipasi, kurang optimalnya pendampingan pengasuh, dan inkonsistensi jadwal kegiatan. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus menggunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam diterapkan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan manajemen muhadhoroh. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa fungsi manajemen sudah berjalan, namun perlu dilakukan optimalisasi terutama dalam hal koordinasi, disiplin, serta evaluasi berkala yang lebih sistematis dan terstruktur. Rekomendasi berupa penguatan regulasi jadwal, penegasan peran dan tanggung jawab, serta mekanisme evaluasi yang rutin diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan keberlanjutan kegiatan muhadhoroh. Dengan pengelolaan manajemen yang lebih optimal, diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi dan karakter dakwah santri secara lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan manajemen pendidikan pesantren yang bertujuan memperkuat mutu pendidikan dan peran sosial pesantren dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to develop technology-integrated Problem Based Learning (PBL) teaching materials for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The research model used is research and development (R&D) with reference to the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Bagik Payung and SDN 1 Terara. Data collection instruments included tests (pretest-posttest) and non-tests (expert validation questionnaires, student and teacher response questionnaires, and observations). The validation results showed that the teaching materials received a “Very Good” rating from technology experts, subject matter experts, and language experts. The small-scale pilot test demonstrated an average score increase from 59 to 88 at SDN 1 Bagik Payung and from 58 to 85 at SDN 1 Terara, with a moderate N-Gain category. The large-scale pilot test resulted in an average score increase from 57.33 to 89.33 at SDN 1 Bagik Payung and from 56.84 to 88.95 at SDN 1 Terara, with a high N-Gain category. Student and teacher responses to the product were also in the “Very Good” category. Thus, the PBL-based instructional materials integrated with technology developed have proven to be effective, feasible, and usable for enhancing elementary school students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh krusialnya peran kinerja guru dalam menentukan mutu pendidikan di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS), namun realitanya sering dihadapkan pada tantangan internal (motivasi, kompetensi) dan eksternal (supervisi, lingkungan kerja). Adanya kesenjangan antara kondisi ideal dengan praktik di lapangan, khususnya di MAS Kabupaten Lombok Timur, serta kurangnya studi komprehensif mengenai faktor-faktor penentunya, mendorong penelitian ini. Fokus utama adalah menganalisis hubungan antara supervisi akademik, motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif ex post facto, survei dilakukan terhadap 68 guru MAS di Lombok Timur yang dipilih secara proporsional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tervalidasi dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda setelah uji asumsi. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa hanya lingkungan kerja yang memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja guru (p=0,000). Sementara itu, supervisi akademik (p=0,636) dan motivasi kerja (p=0,186) tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik dalam konteks ini. Disimpulkan bahwa kualitas lingkungan kerja menjadi faktor dominan yang memengaruhi kinerja guru MAS di Lombok Timur, sementara peran supervisi dan motivasi memerlukan kajian lebih lanjut, dengan memperhatikan keterbatasan normalitas data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peran krusial kinerja guru matematika dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional, namun terdapat indikasi kesenjangan kinerja di SMAN Kabupaten Lombok Timur yang terkait dengan rendahnya komitmen dan motivasi kerja. Adanya kesenjangan antara kondisi ideal dengan praktik di lapangan mendorong penelitian ini. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis secara kuantitatif pengaruh komitmen kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru matematika di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan metode survei terhadap 92 guru matematika SMAN yang dipilih secara proporsional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tervalidasi dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda setelah uji asumsi. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa komitmen kerja (p=0,031) dan motivasi kerja (p=0,000) secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Analisis regresi (Y = 18.363 + 0.245X1 + 0.604X2) mengonfirmasi bahwa motivasi kerja (β=0.618) merupakan prediktor yang lebih dominan dibandingkan komitmen (β=0.229). Disimpulkan bahwa kedua faktor internal ini signifikan memengaruhi kinerja guru, dengan motivasi berperan lebih kuat, sehingga intervensi peningkatan motivasi perlu diprioritaskan, dengan memperhatikan keterbatasan normalitas data.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, validate, and examine the effectiveness of a local wisdom-based Social Studies (IPS) teaching module in fostering character education among junior high school students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The participants included eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Terara, East Lombok. The results indicate that the developed module is valid, practical, and effective. The expert validation results show high validity, with scores of 91.6% for content, 75% for media, and 77.77% for language, resulting in an overall average of 81.46% (very valid category). The practicality test reveals a user response score of 88.9%, categorized as very good, indicating that the module is easy to use and engaging in classroom learning. Furthermore, the effectiveness test demonstrates a significant improvement in students’ character education, as indicated by an N-Gain score of 0.54 (moderate category). The paired-sample t-test shows a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05), while the effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.76) indicates a moderate to high impact of the intervention. The novelty of this study lies in the systematic integration of Sasak local wisdom values into a structured Social Studies module using the ADDIE model, supported by empirical validation of its effectiveness. This study contributes to the development of culturally responsive instructional materials that enhance character education through contextually relevant learning.

Abstract

Materials to enhance learning outcomes in primary civic education. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study was conducted with second-grade students at SDN 01 Terara, involving a small group (n=6) and a large group (n=20). Data were collected through expert validation, questionnaires, and pretest–posttest assessments. The validation results showed that the instructional materials achieved an average score of 71%, categorized as valid. The practicality test indicated positive responses from teachers (70%) and students (70.1%), categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness analysis using the N-gain score revealed a moderate improvement in the small group (0.48) and a high improvement in the large group (0.58). These findings indicate that the developed animated video-based instructional materials are valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes. This study contributes to the field of educational technology by integrating multimedia learning with a systematic instructional design framework and providing empirical evidence of its effectiveness in primary civic education.
