Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum (Independent Curriculum) emerges as a strategic response to the need for a more adaptive and learner-centered transformation of Indonesia’s national education system. At the senior high school level, this policy requires institutional readiness, competent educators, and well-aligned supporting regulations. This study aims to analyze the implementation, benefits, challenges, and policy directions underlying the adoption of the Merdeka Curriculum in senior high schools. Employing a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, data were collected from academic literature, official reports issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, as well as findings from relevant previous studies. The analysis explored the interrelation between policy design, classroom implementation, and its impact on the quality of learning in senior high schools. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is being carried out gradually, depending on the readiness of human resources and school infrastructure. The curriculum offers teachers greater flexibility in designing contextual learning while promoting collaboration among schools, parents, and the community. Nonetheless, several challenges remain, including disparities in school readiness, limited pedagogical and digital competencies among teachers, and the need for continuous evaluation of policy effectiveness. The Merdeka Curriculum has shown positive impacts on post-pandemic learning recovery and the strengthening of students’ Pancasila character values. Its success largely depends on coherent policies, improved teacher competencies, and systemic support from multiple stakeholders. The implication is that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum should be accompanied by the continuous capacity building of schools and teachers to ensure a sustainable learning movement that remains relevant to the dynamics of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Pernikahan merupakan titik awal seseorang merajut kehidupan baru yang dapat mengantarkannya menuju kehidupan bahagia di dunia dan akhirat. Namun terkadang sebuah pernikahan kandas di tengah jalan dan berujung dengan perpisahan di Pengadilan Agama. Penelitian ini bermaksud mengkaji fenomena transformasi talak ba’in kubro menjadi talak raj’i yang pada putusan Pengadilan Agama Kotabaru Nomor 70/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Ktb, ditinjau dari perspektif madszhab Syafi’i. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pertimbangan hukum hakim dalam memutuskan perubahan status talak tersebut, serta mengkaji kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip-prinsip yang dianut dalam madzhab Syafi’i. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi analisis, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Hakim pengadilan agama kotabaru tidak menyebutkan secara jelas alasan perubahan talak baik kubra menjadi talak raj’i pada putusan tersebut, (2) penulis meyakini bahwa hakim berpedoman pada Undang-Undangn Perkawinan pasal 39 ayat (1) tahun 1974 dalam mentransformasikan talak bain kubro menjadi talak raj’i, (3) pada prinsip yang dianut dalam madzhab Syafi’i tidak ditemukan bahwa talak yang sah hanya boleh dilakukan di depan persidangan sehingga putusan yang dijatuhkan hakim tidak sejalan dengan prinsip madzhab Syafi’i, (4) akibat dari putusan tersebut dikhawatirkan dapat disalahfahami sebagai kebolehan untuk rujuk setelah terjadinya talak bain kubro.

Abstract

This study analyzes the dynamics of Islamic education in Lombok through the leadership of Tuan guru in the cultural transformation of Rebo Bontong at Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) Darul Falah Mataram, focusing on how Tuan guru directs the shift of cultural practices that are less aligned with Islamic values into religious rituals that reinforce the teachings of Tasawwuf and Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah. The study employs Bernard M. Bass's transformational leadership theory, Kurt Lewin's change theory, and Clayton Alderfer's motivation theory as its theoretical framework. As a spiritual leader and a mursyid of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah order, Tuan guru plays a crucial role not only in religious education but also in shaping social and economic changes within the community. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, this study involves participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings revealed that Tuan guru’s leadership significantly influenced three key aspects: first, charismatic leadership that guided santri and the community towards Islamic practices more in line with religious teachings; second, intellectual stimulation through the enhancement of santri literacy and the dissemination of dakwah bil-kitabah via the Najmul Huda bulletin; and third, motivation and individual care through the economic empowerment of the pesantren and the surrounding community. The cultural transformation of Rebo Bontong not only eliminated elements that contradicted Islamic teachings but also strengthened the religious identity of the Lombok community. This study confirmed that the cultural and spiritual approach applied by Tuan guru served as an effective model for reforming local traditions without triggering social resistance. These findings contribute to the study of Islamic leadership and the revitalization of religious traditions within the Muslim communities of the Nusantara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the representation of homeland and resistance in two songs from different cultures: “Mother” from Russia and “We Will Not Go Down” from Palestine. Songs are regarded as a form of oral literature rich in symbolic, ideological, and emotional meaning. Using Stuart Hall’s theory of representation and content analysis methods, this study examines how the image of the “mother” as a symbol of the homeland and resistance to oppression is constructed in the lyrics of both songs. The results show that the Russian song emphasizes emotional nationalism through metaphors of nature and motherhood, while the Palestinian song emphasizes a narrative of struggle using diction of resistance and symbols of destroyed homes and places of worship. These stylistic differences demonstrate that representation in song is highly influenced by each culture’s historical, political, and social context. This study also reinforces Hall’s theory that meaning is constructed through cultural processes, and expands the scope of comparative literature studies in cross-cultural musical contexts. These findings are essential in understanding that musical literature can serve as a medium for expressing identity and resistance across geographical and ideological boundaries

Abstract

The fast-paced, stressful, and individualistic nature of urban life often triggers spiritual crises and a sense of meaninglessness among urban communities.  The purpose of this study is to analyze the significant role of Sufism in addressing the challenges of the complexity of urban life. The method used is qualitative research with a literature review approach, with data sources drawn from scientific journals, books, papers, and other secondary sources. The results of this study indicate that Sufism is not only relevant but also plays a significant transformative role in urban life. This can be seen from several indicators, including the acknowledgment by some individuals that Sufism serves as an effective remedy for spiritual emptiness and psychological stress amid the complexities of urban life. The conclusion is that Sufism emerges as a spiritual solution that not only offers inner peace and spiritual tranquility but also helps individuals rediscover the lost meaning of life and achieve a harmonious balance between worldly demands and spiritual needs.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kewirausahaan dan literasi keuangan siswa SMK Al-Kheriyah melalui pelatihan penyusunan rencana bisnis dan analisis keuangan sederhana. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra meliputi rendahnya pemahaman siswa dalam menyusun business plan, keterbatasan kemampuan analisis keuangan usaha, serta minimnya pengalaman praktik kewirausahaan yang aplikatif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan aplikatif dengan model learning by doing, yang diwujudkan melalui workshop, simulasi, diskusi kelompok, serta pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pemahaman siswa terhadap kewirausahaan dan analisis keuangan, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 50% menjadi 85% pada post-test. Selain itu, siswa mampu menghasilkan dokumen rencana bisnis sederhana dan menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam mempresentasikan ide usaha. Kegiatan ini memberikan implikasi positif terhadap penguatan karakter wirausaha siswa dan dapat direplikasi pada sekolah menengah kejuruan lainnya.. Abstract

Pajak merupakan iuran terhadap negara yang dipaksakan sesuai dengan aturan perundang-undangan yang manfaatnya tidak diperoleh secara langsung. Pentingnya pengetahuan mengenai perpajakan dikenalkan sejak dini oleh lembaga terkait yaitu Direktorat Jendral Perpajakan kepada masyarakat, mengingat masih banyak masyarakat umum sebagai wajib pajak yang kesadaran akan pelaporan perpajakan masih rendah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan motivasi kepada siswa agar memiliki pemahaman tentang perpajakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pendekatan edukatif dan community development meliputi: pemberian motivasi kesadaran perpajakan, sosialisasi peraturan perpajakan terbaru. Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya kegiatan PKM ini mampu memberikan dampak peningkatan pengetahuan pada siswa dalam hal perpajakan yang sesuai dengan UU yang berlaku. Pentingnya pengetahuan perpajakan guna memastikan bahwa siswa yang merupakan calon Wajib Pajak dimasa yang akan datang dapat menjadi Wajib Pajak yang patuh, sehingga penerimaan dari sektor perpajakan dapat mencapai target.Kata Kunci: Perpajakan; UU Perpajakan; Pengetahuan

Abstract

Permasalahan lalu lintas dapat dijumpai dari berbagai faktor, salah satunya pertumbuhan sarana, prasarana, dan fasilitas transportasi. Simpang Empat Bersinyal Jalan Magelang Kilometer 5 dan Jalan Selokan Mataram merupakan persimpangan yang terkena dampak dari peningkatan volume kendaraan. Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 2023 (PKJI, 2023) menjadi acuan untuk memandu pengerjaan, lalu dilakukan permodelan menggunakan Software PTV Vissim. Hasil penelitian ini meninjau kondisi eksiting, dan dengan alternatif yang efisien untuk kinerja simpang bersinyal. Pada penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai derajat kejenuhan, peluang antrian, dan tundaan.

Abstract

A study was conducted to examine the impact of circuit training on basketball shooting skills among the athletes of Suryakancana University basketball club. The research utilized a experimental design, allowing for a close resemblance to a real experiment. The objective was to test the effect of the independent variable (circuit training) on the dependent variables (shooting skills) and establish a cause- and-effect relationship. The experimental group received the circuit training treatment, while the control group did not. The study involved a population of Suryakancana University basketball club athletes, with a sample size of 20 out of 40 individuals. Results of the research revealed that the 14 week circuit training program had a significant impact on improving shooting skills, as indicated by the N-Gain Score of 0.89, which exceeded the threshold of 0.7. Particularly, the training enhanced arm strength and leg muscle strength among the athletes.
