Abstract

Manajemen risiko mengalami transformasi signifikan seiring perkembangan teknologi digital.Penggunaan analitik data, kecerdasan bisnis, dan kecerdasan buatan telah mengubah pendekatanorganisasi dalam mengidentifikasi dan merespons risiko. Paper ini membahas bagaimana trenmanajemen risiko bergerak ke arah yang lebih proaktif, adaptif, dan berbasis teknologi, sertamengulas penerapannya dalam sektor-sektor strategis seperti perbankan, konstruksi, keberlanjutan,dan keselamatan industri. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan menyeluruh dankolaboratif untuk membangun sistem manajemen risiko yang responsif terhadap kompleksitas danketidakpastian di masa depan. Risk management has undergone a significant transformation alongside the evolution of digitaltechnologies. The adoption of data analytics, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence hasreshaped how organizations identify and respond to risks. This paper examines the shift in riskmanagement trends toward more proactive, adaptive, and technology‐driven approaches, andreviews their implementation in strategic sectors such as banking, construction, sustainability, andindustrial safety. The findings underscore the necessity of a comprehensive and collaborativeframework to develop risk management systems capable of addressing future complexity anduncertainty.

Abstract

One way to improve tourism is to take advantage of information and communication technology advances. Smart Tourism is a tourism development that focuses on the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in an integrated manner with tourism programs. The purpose of the research is to study the concepts of smart tourism and how to apply them to the tourist area of Lake Toba, North Sumatra. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach. The study on the concept of Smart Tourism was conducted using a literature review and discussion with several related resource persons. The city/district government in the Lake Toba tourist area of North Sumatra is now innovating to develop every tourism potential, both in terms of infrastructure development to smart branding as one of the smart tourism programs in promoting tourist destinations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to remind that local wisdom must be maintained to maintain natural balance. The activity was conducted to discuss the traditional culture of sasi with a group of people in Southwest Maluku (MBD), through focus group discussions. The MBD community in utilizing natural resources still maintains the sasi tradition, so that the continuity of marine resources can be maintained between generations, even though currently facing various threats due to the influence of globalization and greater economic motivation.

Abstract

Good corporate governance (GCG) has focused heavily on adherence to formal principles such as transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness (TARIF). However, in practice, the application of these principles has not been fully effective in preventing managerial misconduct in various organizations. This article aims to examine the transformation of the GCG paradigm from a compliance-based governance approach to trustbased governance through the integration of managerial accountability and organizational integrity. The underlying phenomenon of this study is the continued prevalence of abuse of authority, moral hazard, and weak internalization of integrity values, despite the formal implementation of TARIF principles. This situation indicates a gap between procedural compliance and organizational ethical practices. This study uses a conceptual approach by reviewing the literature related to accountability, organizational integrity, and trust theory in governance. The results of the study indicate that trust-based governance can complement and strengthen TARIF principles, emphasizing interpersonal relationships, organizational culture, and the internalization of integrity values as a non-formal control mechanism. The integration of managerial accountability and organizational integrity enables the formation of a governance system that is not only procedurally compliant but also substantively ethical. The main contribution of this article is the development of a conceptual model of trust-based governance that goes beyond the traditional GCG approach. This model is expected to serve as a new framework for strengthening the effectiveness of corporate governance in the era of modern organizational complexity.
