Abstract

Background: ATMs and EDCs remain critical infrastructure components within Indonesia’s national payment system. However, their extensive utilization exposes commercial banks to various technological, operational, human, physical, and third-party risks. Despite recurring incidents comprehensive studies that formulate ATM and EDC risk scenarios and corresponding control measures within the Indonesian banking context remain limited. Objective: This study formulates risk scenarios and corresponding control measures for ATM and EDC electronic banking channels in Indonesian commercial banks. Methods: A structured literature review was conducted using six academic databases: Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate, Scopus, Wiley Online Library, and MDPI. The identified risks were analyzed using the ISACA Risk IT Framework and mapped to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards. The proposed model was validated by six Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with expertise in banking operations, IT risk management, information security, and payment systems using a 1–5 Likert scale. Results: The study identified 25 risk scenarios across six categories and formulated 25 consolidated control measures. Each scenario links risk sources or threat actors, risk events, potential impacts, and corresponding controls. The controls were classified as preventive, detective, and corrective measures and mapped across the people, process, and technology dimensions. Expert validation produced an average score of 4.13/5.00 (83%), indicating a high level of acceptance. Conclusion: As a proposed model derived from a systematic literature review and expert validation, this study provides a structured reference framework for risk management practitioners and policymakers in Indonesian commercial banking institutions.

Abstract

The Biting Wonogiri area is an area composed of Oligocene-Miocene volcanic deposits and volcanic deposits from Lawu Volcano. The rocks in this area consist of pyroclastic rocks, volcanic breccia, and dacite intrusions. Residents in this area more commonly grow herbal plants such as turmeric. Turmeric plants are mostly planted on old volcanic rocks, namely the Oligocene-Miocene age. By studying the planting patterns of residents, an analysis was carried out regarding the heavy metal chemical elements contained in turmeric. The research methodology was carried out using geological mapping to determine the distribution of the rocks that make up the research area and AAS analysis (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy). This AAS method is used to determine heavy metal content. The heavy metal elements analyzed in turmeric were Hg, Pb, As, Fe, Al, and Mn. From the analysis results it was found that the heavy metal elements Hg, Pb, and As had very low levels, namely around 0.005-0.400 mg/Kg. Meanwhile, the elements Al, Fe, and Mg have high contents. Turmeric grown on dacite and volcanic breccia has higher Al (622.3-1362.76 mg/Kg) and Fe (271.32-806.27 mg/Kg) content compared to turmeric planted on sedimentary rock. Meanwhile, the metal element Mn varies around 6.85-122.01 mg/Kg. By knowing the content of these Western metal elements, it is hoped that turmeric, which contains heavy metal elements, can be used as a superior herbal herbal medicine. These metal elements, which are very important nutrients, come from old volcanic rocks.

Abstract

Background: Digital transformation in vaccine manufacturing requires advanced technologies and competent personnel capable of operating within highly regulated environments. Existing digital competency frameworks remain broad and insufficiently address critical areas, including data integrity, computerized system validation, electronic quality management processes, operational technology, and regulatory compliance. Objective: This study developed a Digital Competency Framework and defined proficiency levels for vaccine manufacturing personnel using PT XYZ as a single organizational case study. Methods: The Design Science Research Methodology and a qualitative descriptive approach were employed. Data were obtained from literature reviews, regulatory and organizational documents, observations, semi-structured interviews with six purposively selected informants, and validation conducted by two domain experts. Results: The study identified 18 digital competencies organized into five proficiency levels, ranging from digital awareness to digital initiative and transformation. These competencies were categorized into three pillars: data, system governance, and compliance; digital manufacturing and quality systems; and operational technology and advanced digital capabilities. Expert validation confirmed adequate coverage, logical progression, and observable competency descriptions. The framework supports role-based competency mapping, targeted training programs, and workforce planning. Conclusion: The framework provides a context-sensitive and proficiency-based reference for competency mapping, gap analysis, and workforce development. It contributes to advancing Pharma 4.0 while maintaining GxP compliance. However, the findings are analytically transferable rather than statistically generalizable, reflecting the limitations of a single organizational case study.
