Abstract

This research is qualitative research that aims to develop an Islamic quality-of-life model for Islamic multicultural education. Research is conducted by referring to various sources of writing (literary research), and then formulating with deductive and inductive reasoning (thinking). The four criteria for a successful life (luck, win), namely faith, good deeds, correctness, and patience. These four criteria constitute a unified whole, and should not be broken down or reduced. The word 'sholih' means 'whole' (not broken apart) or 'complete', which is also usually translated as 'good'. Goodness due to wholeness and completeness. Wholeness and completeness in the concept of "Amal Sholih" include amal imaniah (faithful action), amal ilmiah (scientific action), amal karimah (noble action), amal rahmah (beloved action), amal barakah (better action), amal salamah (safe action), and amal kamilah (complete action). Faithful action is the action that must be based on faith, namely the six pillars of faith. Scientific action is an action that contains knowledge. Amal karimah is human deeds that show good deeds. Beloved action is the action that reflects rahmah (compassion, love), which arises from a clean conscience. Better action is a human action that provides benefits and added value (added goodness) to others and oneself. Safe action is the act of human beings who are safe and save themselves and others in this world and the hereafter. Complete action is the human action that fulfills 100% of the target.

Abstract

The problem of this research is that there are still schools that have tahfidz programs but have not been able to print students in memorizing the Qur'an properly. Even though it is a pesantren, the modern Adlaniyah of the valley of the transverse district is able to print students in memorizing the Qur'an according to the makharujul letters and tajwid. This study aims to find out how the efforts of Tahfidz teachers in improving the memorization of the Qur'an of students. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. This research began to be carried out in June-October 2021. The subjects in this study were Tahfidz teachers. while the informants were the principal, other teachers besides Tahfidz teachers, the head of the Tahfidz coordinator, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. In testing the validity of the data used triangulation of sources and methods. Then the data was analyzed using an interactive analysis model with the following steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. fun when teaching and learning in class, 2) Providing time for students who want to deposit their memorization, 3) Murojaah letter juz 30 which is the target of student memorization, 4) Motivating students, 5) Giving gifts to students, 6) Giving additional hours of lessons for Tahfizul Qur'an, 7) Create a WA group for parents, 8) Coordinate with the principal. While the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the memorization of the Qur'an of students are 1) Internal factors. Supporting factors are the conduciveness of students in the classroom. Meanwhile, the obstacle in improving the memorization of the Qur'an by the students is the lack of self-confidence from within the students. 2) External Factors. The supporting factor is the collaboration with the parents of students. While the obstacle is the lack of parental support for their children, they only surrender to school.

Abstract

Objective:  This study aims to critically evaluate the application of Islamic integrative epistemology in the Computer Science Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Kudus, focusing on the extent to which Islamic values are internalized in the curriculum, teaching methods, and academic culture. Theoretical framework:  This study uses the Islamic integrative epistemological framework as an effort to answer epistemological concerns that arise due to the dominance of dichotomous and positivistic paradigms, especially in non-religious disciplines such as Computer Science. This epistemology seeks to harmonize Islamic science and general science in a coherent set of values. Literature review: The literature review includes a discussion of epistemological crises in modern higher education, technocratic tendencies in the development of exact science, and the concept of scientific integration in an Islamic perspective. Emphasis is also placed on the importance of instilling moral and spiritual values in learning in Islamic universities. Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data collection technique was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation analysis of academic activities within the Computer Science Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Kudus. Results:  The results of the study show that efforts to integrate Islamic values in the development of Computer Science are still symbolic and fragmented. The main obstacles stem from the low epistemological awareness among academics and the strong dominance of technocratic approaches. Nevertheless, there are promising integration opportunities in courses such as Professional Ethics and Islamic Religious Education, which can be developed through a reflective and transdisciplinary pedagogical approach. Implications:  A reformulation of value-based curriculum, improved epistemological literacy, and cross-disciplinary synergy are needed to encourage more substantial scientific integration in Islamic universities. Novelty:  This study presents a new perspective on the application of Islamic epistemology in Computer Science, with an emphasis on the deep integration of values to form graduates who are both technological and have Islamic character.

Abstract

Boarding schools have long been recognized as effective in shaping the religious character of students. However, in the post-pandemic era of disruption, the managerial adaptation of these institutions has not yet been conceptually mapped out, resulting in value-building practices that tend to be partial and inconsistent. Previous research has primarily described religious routines and teacher role modeling, but has not offered a systematic management framework capable of integrating academic, spiritual, and technological innovation aspects. Therefore, this study aims to formulate a conceptual model of strategic educational management that is responsive to the challenges of value disruption in religious-based boarding schools. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to academic publications and policy documents from the last five years (2020–2025), which are analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify patterns in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of religious character education strategies. The analysis resulted in an Adaptive-Integrative Management Model with four main dimensions: (1) structured program planning, (2) internalization of values through religious practices and role modeling, (3) creation of a holistic–spiritual boarding school environment, and (4) technology-based managerial responsiveness. This model contributes theoretically to the development of value-based educational management while providing practical recommendations for Islamic educational institutions to strengthen the continuous development of students' religious character in the era of disruption.

Abstract

This research explores the effectiveness of thematic Tafsir training in promoting religious moderation among Dai (preachers) and Religious Counselors in Indonesia. The training aimed to equip religious leaders with the necessary skills to interpret Quranic teachings on themes such as tolerance, inclusivity, and peace, with a focus on addressing contemporary issues of extremism and religious pluralism. Thematic Tafsir, which focuses on interpreting the Quran based on specific themes, was used to help participants contextualize religious teachings in the diverse and multicultural landscape of Indonesia. The training included theoretical and practical components, such as case studies, role-playing exercises, and reflection sessions. The results indicated that the training significantly enhanced the participants' understanding of religious moderation and improved their ability to communicate these values in their communities. The program’s success highlights the importance of providing Dai (Preacher) and Religious Counselors with professional development opportunities to strengthen their role in promoting peace, tolerance, and social harmony in Indonesian society.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of Tafsir methodology training on Madrasah teachers in enhancing multicultural education in Indonesia. The training aimed to equip educators with a deeper understanding of Quranic values that promote diversity, tolerance, and social harmony, enabling them to apply these values effectively in the classroom. Through experiential learning, teachers gained the skills to interpret and contextualize Quranic verses related to inclusivity, addressing contemporary issues in a diverse society. The results of the training revealed that teachers were highly engaged and capable of connecting Quranic teachings to real-world situations, fostering an environment where students appreciated differences and promoted peaceful coexistence. Additionally, the training enhanced teachers' ability to use contextual Tafsir, making Quranic teachings more relevant to students from various cultural and religious backgrounds. This research highlights the importance of integrating Tafsir methodology into religious education to strengthen moderate and inclusive Islamic teachings, contributing to the broader goal of national unity in a multicultural society. Future research could assess the long-term impact of this training, its applicability in other educational contexts, and the potential of digital platforms to disseminate such training across Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the Quranic and Tafsir literacy of young people so they can counter digital disinformation, particularly on religious issues. Based on a community service learning model (KKN) that combines experience and community involvement, this research equips young people with critical thinking skills regarding online information and the application of Quranic principles in their lives. The training program for 15–25 year olds includes Quranic analysis, Tafsir practice, and discussions on identifying disinformation, complemented by simulations and reflective exercises. Results show increased knowledge, critical awareness, and the ability of participants to recognize and counter religious disinformation. This research bridges religious education and digital literacy by offering effective tools for young people to navigate the digital era without abandoning religious values. This study is unique because it integrates Quranic and Tafsir literacy with community service, thus presenting a new approach to empowering young people to face the challenges of modern education and misinformation..

Abstract

Peralihan Revolusi Industri pertama (1.0) hingga saat ini (4.0)terbilang kilat dalam ukuran peradaban manusia. Pada saat KarlPopper dan orang-orang sezamannya melihat gerak ilmu secaraevolutif, Thomas Kuhn (1922-1996) menjadi orang pertama yangberani menyatakan bahwa ilmu bergerak secara revolutif. Olehkarena itu, paradigma Thomas Kuhn merupakan cara pandang yangpaling siap untuk menghadapi revolusi saintifik dibandingkanparadigma filsafat lainnya. Tidak disangkal oleh siapapun, revolusiIndustri pada hakikatnya adalah revolusi saintifik. Setiap perubahanpada sektor Industri selalu dimotori oleh perubahan pada ranahsains dan teknologi. Oleh karena itu sangat penting untuk melihatRevolusi Industri dalam perspektif Revolusi Saintifik sebagaimanadilakukan oleh Thomas Kuhn. Setidaknya terdapat 4 langkahstrategis dalam menghadapi sebuah revolusi Industri sesuaiparadigma Scientific Revolution Thomas Kuhn: pertama, menjadikanpenguasaan sains-teknologi baru sebagai sebuah kewajiban. Hal inikarena sains-teknologi baru dalam revolusi Industri 4.0, menurutparadigma Kuhn, telah menjadi normal science; sehingga manusiayang tidak menguasainya, sebenarnya tidak dapat disebut normal.Kedua, normal science pada saatnya nanti akan berhadapan dengananomali-anomali. Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang kini dielu-elukan padasaatnya nanti akan menampilkan ekses-ekses negatifnya. Makadiperlukan sikap kritis untuk mengenali anomali-anomali itu. Ketiga,anomali akan memunculkan crisis dan menuntut hadirnya revolusiberikutnya. Krisis ini tidak hanya berdampak pada dimensi ekonomi,namun juga sosial budaya, sehingga perlu persiapan khusus agardapat bertahan dalam krisis dan bertransformasi menuju revolusiberikutnya. Keempat, temuan-temuan baru yang nantinya munculakan menjadi juru selamat dari krisis sekaligus pembuka jalan bagirevolusi selanjutnya. Artinya, perlu ada upaya terus menerus untukgerak keilmuan yang bersifat discovery dan invention. Pendidikanharus diubah orientasinya dari sekedar penguasaan sains-teknologimenjadi orientasi penemuan-penemuan baru. Empat kesadarantersebut menjadi landasan strategi untuk menang dalam setiaptahapan revolusi. Dengan demikian, perspektif Thomas Kuhn yangdiulas dalam penelitian kefilsafatan ini bukan sekedar untukmenaklukkan Revolusi Industri 4.0, namun bagaimana strategi agarmampu mencuri start untuk mempelopori dan memenangkan revolusiindustri berikutnya (5.0).

Abstract

Secara historis, Islam sebagai sebuah peradaban dimulai dari sintesis kreatif. Sintesis kreatif bisa terjadi  jika seseorang memiliki beberapa bidang ilmu sekaligus. Di era klasik, antara abad IX dan XIV, peradaban Islam menunjukkan kreativitas tinggi dalam ilmu dan teknologi. Pemikiran kreatif di zaman keemasan Islam tercermin dalam diri Al-Farabi, Ibnu Rusyd, Ibnu Sina dan lain-lain merupakan hasil sintesis secara intensif dengan falsafah Yunani. Oleh karena itu,   peradaban Islam di masa depan harus   bersintesis   dengan teknologi, ekonomi  dan   globalisasi. Perlu penggeseran wilayah pemikiran yang dulunya hanya memikirkan persoalan-persoalan “teologi” (Ketuhanan) klasik ke arah paradigma pemikiran yang lebih menelaah dan mengkaji secara serius persoalan-persoalan “kemanusiaan” (antropologi) yang bersifat global. Melahirkan peradaban Islam di Indonesia di era globalisasi ini tentu bukan pekerjaan mudah karena itu dibutuhkan agenda, koordinasi terpadu dan komprehensif oleh semua agen perubahan sosial.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efek pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEAM terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi (mixed method research) yang menggabungkan penelitian tindakan kelas (action research) dan penelitian eksperiment (experiment research). Pada penelitian ini yang menjadi subjek yaitu peserta didik dengan jumlah 24, dan untuk populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 45 yang terbagi ke dalam kelas eksperiment dan kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperiment berjumlah 19 peserta didik, dan untuk kelas kontrol berjumlah 26 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan test pada kelas PTK, dan untuk kelas eksperiment dan kelas kontrol menggunakan test prestasi belajar. Analisi data dalam PTK dengan menggunakan presentase yang menggambarkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik, dan untuk kelas eksperiment dan kelas kontrol menggunaka uji t tet. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pertama pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEAM dapat meningkatkan kognitif peserta didik yang dibuktikan adanya peningkatan di setiap siklusnya. Kedua pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEAM dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik, dengan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ketiga pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEAM efektif untuk meningkatkan kognitif dan prestasi belajar.
