Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of capital structure in mediating the influence of firm size and profitability on company value. This research uses secondary data with a population of 43 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the observation year 2018-2022.The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling with multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis methods.The results of this research show that firm size, profitability as proxied by return on equity have a positive and significant influence on capital structure, firm size has a negative and significant influence on firm value, profitability as proxied by return on equity and capital structure have a positive and significant influence on value. company, capital structure is able to mediate the influence of firm size on company value and capital structure is not able to mediate the influence of profitability on company value.

Abstract

The development of manufacturing technology, including in the field of lathes, continues to progress quite significantly to meet increasingly complex industrial needs. One of the important innovations in lathes was the use of detachable heads, the use of cutting tools in a more flexible and efficient way. Bolts with hexagonal holes are an important component in the automotive world, one of their uses is in motorbike calipers. After conducting a literature study regarding loose heads and drill chucks on lathe machines, the author carried out an evaluation and carried out a design for the design of an internal hexagon rotating tool on a conventional lathe using the Inventor application. Evaluation of the performance of this tool shows that this tool can be relied on for practical and educational applications, and meets the needs of its users which can be seen in the Von Mises Stress simulation results and also the results of tool testing

Abstract

Waste lubricant oil is always found in motor vehicle repair shops. Utilizing waste lubricant oil by distilling it will provide benefits. For this reason, waste lubricant oil was distilled in this research. Several characterizations were conducted to determine the viscosity, density, low heat value (LHV), and flash point of waste lubricant oil and distillation products. The distillation product is less viscous, denser, LHV, and flash point than lubricant oil waste. The distillation product was mixed with Pertamina DEX (0, 5, 10, and 15 vol.%) and then filled into the fuel tank for the engine performance test. The present experiment utilized a compression-ignition (CI) engine to measure performance. CI engine speed variations were carried out at 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 to see the influence of the mixed fuel on torque, power, specific fuel consumption (SFC), thermal efficiency, and smoke opacity. The increase in CI engine speed leads to an increase in torque, power, thermal efficiency, and smoke opacity, but at the same time, SFC decreases to 2500 rpm. Increasing the distillation product content in the mixed fuel decreased torque, power, SFC, thermal efficiency, and increased smoke opacity.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenggunaan PV (Photovoltaics) sebagai Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) banyak digunakan di Indonesia. Mode pengoperasian PLTS dikenal dengan on grid dan off grid dimana PLTS on grid adalah kondisi dimana sistem selalu terhubung dengan jaringan PLN, sedangkan PLTS off grid kondisi dimana sistem mampu beroperasi sendiri ketika jaringan PLN terputus. Penelitian ini melakukan pembuatan prototype dengan cara menambahkan smart relay Zelio sebagai perangkat utamanya, dan dengan menambahkan relay sebagai pengganti Motorized Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) hasil simulasi membuktikan grid tetap dalam kondisi bertegangan setelah 20 detik dari terputusnya suplai PLN. PLTS operating modes are known as on grid and off grid, where PLTS on grid is a condition where the system is always connected to the PLN network, while PLTS off grid is a condition where the system is able to operate itself when the PLN network is disconnected. This research made a prototype by adding a smart relay Zelio as the main device, and by adding a relay as a replacement for the Motorized Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB), the simulation results proved that the grid fulfilled voltage after 20 seconds of the PLN supply disconnected.Keywords: motorized mccb, plc, solar power plant

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Grogol Selatan Jakarta Selatan Partisipan kegiatan ini adalah para pedagang pasar yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Grogol Selatan. Masyarakat di lokasi PKM, umumnya memiliki profesi sebagai pedagang menjual berbagai macam benda mulai dari aksesori, pakaian dan sejenisnya, makanan siap saji, makanan ringan, alat tulis, bumbu dapur, sayur dan buah, ikan dan daging, elektronik, peralatan rumah tangga, mainan hingga buku-buku bekas, memiliki potensi masyarakat dan sumberdaya yang mendukung wirausaha. Namun para pedagang pasar tersebut belum memahami tentang pentingnya pencatatan akuntansi guna mendukung pengembangan usahanya. Terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu tidak mengetahui fungsi akuntansi, tidak adanya pembukuan usahanya dan belum pernah membuat laporan keuangan sesuai standar akuntansi. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman melalui penyuluhan dan sosialisasi dengan tema “Pencatatan Akuntansi Sederhana bagi Pedagang Pasar”. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan diskusi, tanya jawab dan simulasi kasus. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan, sebagian besar peserta sangat paham materi yang disampaikan. Hasil evaluasi juga menggambarkan bahwa semua peserta merasa memperoleh manfaat dan puas dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

This research aims to get an overview of the evaluation results and various obstacles faced in the implementation of machining competency test certification in Vocational High Schools (VHS). The evaluation method of this program is a qualitative research approach that uses the analysis of Techniques for Sequence Preference with Ideal Solution Similarity (TOPSIS). This study uses the CSE-UCLA model in designing program evaluation, which consists of five evaluation components: system assessment, program planning, program implementation, program improvement, and certification. Data collection involved subjects who were researched by filling out questionnaires, including school principals, vice principals for curriculum, deputy principals for industrial relations, deputy principals for facilities and infrastructure, heads of machining programs, workshop heads, machining productive teachers, and competency certification institutions/professional certification institutions in schools. Participants involved in collecting information used survey forms in five Vocational High Schools (VHS) in the Province of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta. In this study, five subjects of State Vocational High Schools were selected The study resulted that the machining competency test certification program has a good level of effectiveness, with certain components assessed as sufficient. Considering the dimension of the system assessment program, the value program planning category needs to be maintained or improved. In the context of program implementation, program improvement, and program certification, efforts are needed to improve the criteria for the better. Therefore, the findings of this study can be considered for the improvement of sustainable certification programs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model on the performance of mathematics teachers in Senior High Schools (SMA) in North Lombok Regency. The CIPP model is used to evaluate various aspects of teacher performance, starting from the learning context, available input, the learning process implemented, to the products or results achieved. This research provides a comprehensive picture of the strengths and weaknesses of implementing the CIPP model in improving the quality of mathematics teaching.

Abstract

The transition to renewable energy is crucial for meeting rising global energy demand while mitigating climate change. Bioethanol, a renewable fuel produced from biomass, is widely used to reduce emissions in the transport sector. This study develops a low-cost bioethanol distiller integrated with photovoltaic (PV) modules as a hands-on educational tool for vocational students. The distiller was constructed from affordable, locally available materials and powered by a small off-grid PV system. Experimental trials were conducted using fermented feedstock to produce ethanol, measuring output volume, purity, energy consumption, and system efficiency. The results show that the solar-powered distiller can produce high-purity ethanol (approximately 75–90% v/v) at a rate of about 0.4–0.5 L per batch (5 L feed of 10% ethanol) in 2 hours. The electrical energy consumption per batch 600 Wh was supplied entirely by a 150 WP solar panel and battery storage. The ethanol produced is suitable as a fuel blend, and the system demonstrated an energy-efficient operation for its scale. Students engaging with the distiller reported improved understanding of biofuel production and solar energy integration. In conclusion, the proposed system provides a cost-effective and sustainable learning media for renewable energy education, illustrating key concepts of biofuel production and solar power utilization. This low-cost distiller can be readily adopted in renewable energy vocational schools and scaled for broader educational outreach and community-level bioethanol production.

Abstract

Examining millennials' views on Indonesia’s ideal future highlights ways to rebuild their trust in democracy and shows their strong rejection of corrupt behavior. This study examines the anti-fraud strategies as a mediating variable and implementation of maqashid al-syariah on millennial employee performance at PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM). Employing a mixed-methods design, quantitative data were obtained from 140 purposively sampled millennial employees and analyzed using SEM-PLS version 4.0. The qualitative phase utilized semi-structured interviews, analyzed thematically within the normative framework of Maqasid al-Shariah to contextualize ethical considerations. The variables assessed include deviant workplace behavior, work commitment, anti-fraud strategy implementation, and employee performance. Findings demonstrate that deviant workplace behavior negatively and significantly affects both anti-fraud strategy implementation and employee performance, whereas work commitment exerts a positive and significant influence. Additionally, anti-fraud strategies function as a significant mediator in these relationships. The study contributes theoretically by integrating Maqasid al-Shariah principles as a culturally grounded ethical lens for understanding millennial workplace conduct, emphasizing values of amanah (trust) and adl (justice) in mitigating deviance and fostering commitment. The qualitative insights corroborate the quantitative results, underscoring the role of Islamic ethics in reinforcing organizational integrity. This study shows that strong work commitment improves millennial performance and supports anti-fraud efforts, while deviant behavior harms both. Anti-fraud strategies reduce negative behavior and strengthen commitment. Using Maqasid al-Shariah values helps build ethical, trustworthy, and effective organizations.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted in the framework of strengthening the professional competencies of high school teachers in the application of Deep Learning strategies. The target audience were teachers of SMA and SMA Plus at Yayasan Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School – Parung, Bogor. The problems found included the lack of understanding and implementation skills related to deep learning-based learning strategies and assessment instruments. Through workshops, mentoring, and collaborative coaching methods, the teachers were guided to design and apply deep learning-based assessments. The results indicated an improvement in teachers' understanding and ability to implement deep learning assessments, as reflected in positive feedback in the satisfaction survey, the increased post-test scores and formation of professional traits based on teachers’ self-assessment. This program contributes significantly to pedagogical strengthening and the quality of learning in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum context.
