Abstract

pembelajaran matematika memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan sehri-hari. Fakta yang terjadi didunia pendidikan, proses pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar masih kurang pemahaman terkait dengan pembelajaran konsep. Media Pembelajaran  ular tangga digital dipilih karena manarik untuk dikembangkan.tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembeajaran ular tangga digital  berbasis qr-code pada perkalian bilangan cacah dengan pendekatan RME. Pengembangan media pembelajaran digital berbasis qr-code ini dikembangkan melalui platfrom geneally dengan metode Research and Development ( R&D ). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan media pembelajaran ular tangga digital berbasis qr-code valid digunakan atau dapat dikatakan sangat praktis dan efisien.

Abstract

: The current people on the internet uttered a lot of harsh words when respond to something. This is a common phenomenon among Twitter users. They tend to express their annoyance, anger and disappointment with harsh words. The comments of Indonesian netizens on Twitter which lead to bad words aimed to the Governor of Lampung during Jokowi's visit to Lampung. This analysis aims to find out some of the taboo words that are widely used by Indonesian netizens on social media in expressing their anger and disappointment towards a phenomenon. This analysis is qualitative method by collecting data taken from Kompas Tv Twitter Account which analysed using Wardhaugh's theory. The results of the analysis of comments on Twitter media found 4 types of taboo according to Wardhaugh (1986), which are 1) Taboo words related to human body parts found 8 data, 2) Taboo words related to sex found 1 data, 3) Taboo words related to excretion found 1 data, and 4) Taboo words related to animal found 1 data. Based on the results of the analysis found, it proves that most Indonesian netizens express their anger and disappointment in harsh words related to the human body parts which is the brain.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types and function of swear word TV Series Peaky Blinders.  The researcher uses a contentanalysis type with a descriptive-qualitative approach as a research method. The data of this study are gained from episode 1 – 3 of Peaky Blinders season 1. Simak dan Catat technique (listening, reading, and taking notes) was used in this study to collect data.  The researcher used the interactive model of Miles,  Huberman,  and  Saldana for data analysis,  which consists of three steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. This study finds out that found there are 86 total data swear words on episode 1 until 3 Peaky Blinders, with 70 swear words by men and 16 swear words data by women. The researcher used Hughes’s theory to analyze the type and Andersson and Trudgill’s theory to analyze the function. In conclusion. Men has more variative and goals when they are swearing than women.

Abstract

Language is very influential in life, because language is a communication tool used in everyday life, one of which is using language style. The purpose of this study was to find out the variety of languages used by Bapak Jokowi and the residents interviewed when working on damaged roads in Lampung. This study uses qualitative research, with data collection techniques using documentation. The results of the study found that there were differences in the variety of languages used by Bapak Jokowi and the residents in responding to the damaged roads in Lampung, there were 2 varieties of casual language; 3 consultative style; 2 formal styles; and 1 frozen style. And 4 casual style answers from local residents.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the language of women and men. One of the things that affect language is gender. The theory used in this study is This study uses theory from Coates (2004) about male language features and Lakoff cited by Holmes (2003) about female language. The language differences between women and men here are regarding language features, their vocabulary, and topics that are usually discussed. This study uses a qualitative method. The data source is taken from social media conversations in the form of Whats App. The collected data will be analyzed using descriptive techniques to draw conclusions. The results of this study will then reveal some differences in conversations between women and men.

Abstract

This research aims to find the types of language styles and the frequency of styles used by Kick Andy. The data source in this research is the Kick Andy talk show on Metro TV's official YouTube channel. This research is focused on the style of language used by Kick Andy in his interviews with female guest stars. the author uses a descriptive method that describes the phenomenon based on data sources. This study analyzes the conversations in the interviews to find the types of language styles and language styles that are most often used by Kick Andy. The theory used in this study is the theory of Joss (1998) regarding the types of language style according to their level of formality. The types of language styles are frozen, formal, consultative, casual, and intimate. The results of this study will then reveal which style of language Kick Andy most often uses in his interviews.

Abstract

Politeness has an important role in communication. It is used not only by adults, but also by young people. This study aims to identify and describe politeness use among famous children in the video of"Catatan Si Bocil". This study was based on the theory of Leech. The research approach used in this research is qualitative research. The research data is in the form of conversations between two famous children in TV content uploaded on Youtube. The data source is a YouTube video showing two famous children communicating with each other, then written in a conversational form. The technique of collecting the data was domentation. The results of the study show that there are 6 politeness maxims used by young people in activities. The maxims consist of 1 (one) data maxim of wisdom, 1 (one) data maxim of generosity, 4 (four) data maxims of appreciation, 2 (two) data maxims of modesty, 3 (three) data maxims of consultation. and 1 (one) data of sympathy maxim. Based on research data, the most dominant maxim is the maxim of appreciation.

Abstract

Politeness is crucial, especially for Javanese people who still adhere to their norms and considerate heritage. Therefore, this study aims to determine politeness refusal utterances by Mejayan Village Community. The objectives of this study is to identify the forms of politeness on Javanese language in refusal utterances used by Mejayan Community based on (Leech, 2014) approach. This study use a qualitative research to analize the data. The data was taken by spreading the questionnaire that contained illustrations of offering in daily conversations according to it’s social strata to be answered by Mejayan Community. The result shows that from the six of (Leech, 2014) maxims, there are (6%) maxim of wisdom, (29%) maxim of generosity, (15%) maxim of praise, (23%) maxim of humility, (12%) maxim of agreement and (15%) maxim of simpathy. Maxim of generosity is the most used by Mejayan Community in a refusing offers, it found that because the speaker have a close relationship or lower social strata according to the speech partner.

Abstract

This research aims to find the types of taboo words uttered by teenage teenage characters in It (2017) movie. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The source of the data were the video of It (2017) movie and the transcript. The data of this research are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences uttered by teenage teenage characters of It (2017) movie. The data were collected by watching the video repeatedly and then matching the transcript and the video carefully. Then the raw data were analyzed by applying Jay (1992) theory. Based on the data analysis, it was found seven types of taboo words uttered by teenage teenage characters in It (2017) movie. The most frequently used is epithet which appear 84 times (52%), followed by insult and slur which appear 39 times (24%), obscenety which appear 17 times (10%), vulgarity which appear 7 times (4%), profanity which appear 6 times (4%), and scatology and cursing which appear 5 times each (3%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS dengan mengimplementasikan pendekatan Teaching At The Right Level (TaRL). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian dengan menggunakan 1 kelas yaitu pada kelas IV sebanyak 13 siswa di SDN Tempursari 02. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan observasi di kelas dan memberikan angket motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan TaRL dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dimana pada prasiklus motivasi belajar siswa ada pada presentase 40 % dengan kategori rendah, pada siklus I presentase motivasi belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 59,9 % dengan kategori sedang dan pada siklus  II meningkat menjadi 75,19% dengan kategori tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran IPAS dengan Implementasi Pendekatan TaRL dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa, karena siswa dikelompokkan sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuannya, siswa menyukai kolaborasi dengan berdiskusi dalam kelompok untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan, dan siswa bebas dan berani dalam mengemukakan pendapat selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung.
