Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine (1) the shape and properties of any of the lines in the coordinate oblique, (2) the shape and properties of any of the circles on the coordinate oblique, (3) the shape and properties of any of parabola in oblique coordinates, (4) the shape and properties of any of the ellipse in oblique coordinates, (5) the shape and properties of any of the hyperbole in oblique coordinates.The method to be used is a literature review to collaborate with existing theories.The results showed that the equation of the line through p1=(x1-y1) and  p2=(x2-y2) at oblique coordinate  a becomes = y-y1 =mr(x-x1) with mr=tan (180-a) B mr=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Abstract

This type of research is research development with model development of 4-D modification of Thiagarajan, which includes three phases, definition, design and development. This research was conducted in class VIII SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta with class VIIIA as experimental class and class VIIIB as control class. Data analysis techniques to assess the validity of the media with content and construct validation performed by 3 experts. The practicality of the media is assessed using a student response questionnaire and an observation sheet on the learning implementation. The effectiveness of learning is assessed by media testing in the experimental class by analyzing the learning outcomes using one sample t-test and the proportion for the learning test result, with the independent t-test to compare the learning outcomes in the experimental and control classes. The validation results on the learning media state that the media is valid by expert with an average of 4.53. From the test results obtained (1) practicality: from the observation of the implementation of learning categorized very well, with an average of 4.14. The response of learners > 75% responded well. (2) Effectiveness: from the analysis of trial results, the achievement of the completeness of problem solving ability in classical manner with the mean value > 75 exceeds 75%, and the result of t-test shows the average ability in the experimental class is greater than the control class average. So that obtained mathematical learning media based on ethnomatematics that valid, practical and effective.Keywords : Ethnomatematics, Keraton Yogyakarta, Learning Media

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development research was (1) to produce a humanistic social-based learning model that was suitable for the mathematical communication skills of elementary school students and (2) to test its effectiveness. The type of research used was RnD with a 4-D development model developed by Thiagarajan. The research subjects on a small scale were 4 students of grade IV and on a wide scale were all students in grade IV of SD Taman Muda IP. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative analysis technique was used to describe the stages of developing a humanistic social-based learning model in improving mathematical communication skills. Quantitative analysis techniques were utilized to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on research data, validation tests from experts and practitioners, it can be concluded that the humanistic social-based learning model in improving the mathematical communication skills of elementary school students was valid, practical, and effective. After going through the validation stage, both experts and practitioners, the product developed was said to be valid (feasible and can be used). After being tested on a small scale and a large scale, the product developed was included in the practical and effective criteria. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa Tuli selama pembelajaran jarak jauh di perguruan tinggi sehingga menjadi informasi yang penting dalam mengembangkan aksesibilitas di lingkungan kampus. Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologi dengan mengkaji pengalaman individu secara langsung selama pembelajaran daring (jarak jauh). Proses penelitian dengan melakukan pengumpulan data, analisis, interpretasi dan penulisan hasil penelitian. Data didapat melalui wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian di Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa dengan melibatkan 3 partisipan mahasiswa Tuli dan 2 dosen pengampu mahasiswa tuli di kelasnya yang dipilih dengan purposive sampling.  Keabsahan data dicek dengan triangulasi metode, kecermatan peneliti, dan member check. Hasil penelitian menyampaikan bahwa hambatan yang dialami mahasiswa tuli selama pembelajaran berlangsung bahwa mereka mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan dosen. Upaya yang telah dilakukan mahasiswa yaitu mereka berusaha menggunakan aplikasi narrator namun belum bisa menangkap penjelasan dosen dengan baik. Sedangkan powerpoint yang diberikan dosen kurang detail dalam penjelasannya. Oleh karena kebutuhan yang mendesak yang harus segera dikembangkan sebagai wujud aksesibilitas fisik dan nonfisik dengan segera melakukan pengembangan inovasi alat bantu teknologi yang mengubah lisan menjadi tulisan (speech to text) agar dapat menjadi solusi akomodasi keberagaman kebutuhan belajar seluruh mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya untuk siswa SMP. Secara khusus bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media dan buku petunjuk penggunaan media matematika kontekstual berbasis karakter ke-Indonesiaan dan wawasan kebudayaan yang valid, praktis, dan efektif serta mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan modifikasi 4-D dari Thiagarajan, yang meliputi tiga tahap yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta dengan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data untuk menilai kevalidan media dengan validasi isi dan konstruk yang dilakukan oleh 3 orang ahli. Kepraktisan media dinilai menggunakan angket respon siswa dan lembar pengamatan terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Keefektifan pembelajaran dinilai dengan uji coba media pada kelas eksperimen dengan analisis pada hasil belajar menggunakan one sample t-test dan proporsi untuk uji ketuntasan hasil pembelajaran, serta independent t-test untuk membandingkan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil validasi pada media pembelajaran menyatakan bahwa media valid menurut ahli dengan rata-rata 4,62. Dari hasil ujicoba diperoleh (1) kepraktisan: dari hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berkategori sangat baik, dengan rata-rata 4,28. Respon peserta didik > 75% memberi respon baik. (2) Keefektifan: dari analisis hasil uji coba, diperoleh ketercapaian ketuntasan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah secara klasikal dengan rataan nilai >75 melebihi 75%, serta hasil uji t menunjukkan rataan kemampuan di kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari rataan dikelas kontrol. Sehingga diperoleh media pembelajaran matematika kontekstual berbasis budaya yang valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik, siswa dengan disposisi matematis tinggi, sedang, atau rendah, 4) pada masing-masing kategori disposisi matematis, manakah yang mempunyai prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik, siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan pendekatan open-ended atau pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Purworejo tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 20 Purworejo, SMPN 14 Purworejo, SMPN 13 Purworejo yang diambil secara stratified cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah instrumen tes prestasi belajar matematika, instrumen angket disposisi matematis siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji hipotesis menggunakan anava dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Dari hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa : 1) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan pendekatan open-ended lebih baik daripada siswa yang diberi pembelajaran langsung, 2) prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan disposisi matematis tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa dengan disposisi matematis sedang dan rendah, begitu juga dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan disposisi matematis sedang lebih baik daripada siswa dengan disposisi matematis rendah, 3) pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan pendekatan open-ended prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis sedang maupun rendah. Pada pembelajaran langsung, siswa dengan disposisi matematis tinggi memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis sedang dan rendah, siswa dengan disposisi matematis sedang memiliki prestasi belajar yang sama dengan siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis rendah, 4) Pada siswa dengan disposisi matematis tinggi, siswa dengan disposisi matematis sedang dan siswa dengan disposisi matematis rendah memiliki prestasi belajar yang sama antara siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan pendekatan open-ended dan pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi unsur etnomatematika Museum Kereta Kraton Yogyakarta dan mengintegrasikannya ke dalam pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian eksploratif. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif, sumber data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur yang berkaitan dengan Museum Kereta Kraton Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-verifikatif, yaitu suatu metode induktif dalam penarikan kesimpulan dimana data dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk menyimpulkan gambaran umum keadaan objek kajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unsur etnomatematika Museum Kereta Kraton Yogyakarta dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran matematika, diantaranya konsep luas bangun datar, volume bangun ruang, kesimetrisan, dan teselasi/pengubinan. Konsep-konsep tersebut dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika sebagai masalah kontesktual sekaligus sebagai salah satu cara mengenalkan unsur budaya kepada siswa sebagai upaya mengembangkan pendidikan karakter siswa.Ethnomathematics exploration at Museum of Kereta Kraton Yogyakarta and its integration in mathematics instructionAbstractThis study aims to identify the potential for integrating ethnomathematics at Yogyakarta, particularly the Museum of Kereta Kraton (Kraton Railway Museum) into mathematics learning. This type of research was a qualitative descriptive study. The data obtained in the form of qualitative data, the source of research data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and study of literature related to Yogyakarta Kraton Railway Museum. The data collection technique was done by observing, interviewing, and documenting. The data analysis in this study used a qualitative-verification method, which is an inductive method of drawing conclusions where the data is used as a basis for concluding a general description of the state of the object of study. The results showed that the ethnomathematics of Yogyakarta Kraton Railway Museum has the potential to be integrated into mathematics learning. Ethnomathematics that can be integrated includes the concept of flat area, volume of space, symmetry, and tessellation /tiling. These concepts can be applied in mathematics learning as a contextual geometry problem as well as a way of introducing cultural elements to students.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find mathematical elements in the Soko Tunggal Mosque. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The data used in this study were obtained from observations, documentation, and interviews. Observation and documentation are used to identify ethnomathematics in the Soko Tunggal Mosque, while documentation and interviews with the triangulation method to find out more deeply the cultural values that exist in the Soko Tunggal Mosque. From the results of the study found the concept of field geometry in the Soko Tunggal Mosque. Geometry elements identified include triangles, squares, rectangles, rhombus, circles and reflection. So that in learning mathematics on the material triangles, squares, rectangles, rhombus, circles, and reflection can use the context of a Soko Tunggal mosque.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the shortcomings and interaction strategies that will be developed so that the Flipped Classroom-based learning tool becomes an effective learning tool. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that in the video, RPP, LKPD and Module there was input so that the follow-up strategy was to fix the video again with a discussion that was not too fast, improve the video display, improve the composition of core competencies, add pictures to the material, fix question words, command words and writing on RPP, LKPD and Modules, improve study instructions, add columns for student notes, improve module covers, reproduce exercises and concrete examples of questions and improve headers and footers.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a flipped classroom based mathematics learning tool for building flat-side space in junior hidg schools. This study uses the research abd development method with a 4D model that is modified into 3D due to the covid-19 pandemic, so it pnly contains the define, design, and develop proceses. The results showed that the average validation result by expert validators for RPP was 4,4 (very valid) and the average validation result by stakeholders was 4,65 (very valid). The average result of validation by expert validation for LKPD is 4,49 (very valid) and the average result of validation by stakeholder is 4,74 (very valid). So that the result of the evaluation of the lesson plan by the experts and stakeholders obtained a mean score of 4,53, while the overall mean of the evaluation result of the LKPD by the expert validator and stajeholder obtained a mean score of 4,6. This shows that the flipped classroom based mathematics learning device in junior high school is suitbale for uses as a reference for learning mathematics subjects.
