Pengembangan desain UI/UX aplikasi perpustakaan dalam perspektif sosioteknologi menghadapi permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan interaksi antara teknologi dan masyarakat. Pengguna dengan berbagai tingkat kemampuan mengalami kesulitan dalam mengakses dan menggunakan aplikasi. aplikasi perpustakaan yang rumit dan tidak intuitif dapat membuat pengguna kesulitan dalam menemukan informasi atau menggunakan aplikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang muncul ketika merancang UI/UX aplikasi perpustakaan dari sudut pandang sosio-teknis.. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan library research yaitu metode dengan cara memahami dan mempelajari teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang berhubungan dengan penelitian tersebut. Hasil penelitian, dalam mendesain UI/UX aplikasi perpustakaan menggunakan 6 teori yaitu Teori sosioteknologi. Dengan menggabungkan teori-teori ini, aplikasi perpustakaan dapat dirancang untuk memperhatikan kebutuhan pengguna, meningkatkan keterlibatan sosial, dan memastikan keberlanjutan teknologi.

The purpose of the study is to explore the motivation for using the Connected Papers platform as a smart solution in the search for scientific literature. In the ever-evolving information age, researchers are often faced with the challenge of finding and organizing relevant literature. The research method uses a qualitative method by collecting data through interviews and surveys to students of S1 Library Science UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, and students who utilize the Connected Papers Platform, active users of Connected Papers among students and researchers. The research subjects were 8 students from 100 students of the 2021 S1 Library Science Study Program of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda who utilized the Connected Papers Platform. The object of the research is Library Science students of the class of 2021 who utilize the Connected Papers Platform. Data analysis techniques are carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that students of the library science study program of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh have experienced ease of access, efficiency in finding literature, and the ability to see the relationship between research as the main motivation. In addition, the platform is also considered a tool that supports the process of analyzing and synthesizing information, which is very important in the preparation of literature reviews. This finding is expected to provide insight for researchers and academics in utilizing modern technology to improve the quality of research and scientific development.

Purpose. This study examines development strategies to improve the comfort of use in the Regional Public Library of Lima Puluh Kota Regency. Library interior design is important in creating an environment that supports learning, and research, and enhances the visitor experience. Methodology. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results and discussion. The development strategy for enhancing user comfort at the Lima Puluh Kota District Public Library includes optimizing interior design, such as functional layouts, comfortable materials, balanced lighting, stable air temperature, soothing wall colors, and flexible spaces to support learning and research activities. With a modern and user-friendly design approach, the library becomes not only a conducive learning space but also an inclusive social interaction hub. Conclusions. The importance of interior design in creating an environment that meets user needs enhances the library's appeal as a center for learning. The library can further improve its services through modern interior design, the use of digital technology, facilities that promote comfort, community-based activities, and creative spaces to establish an inclusive and interactive library.

This study aims to identify the level of assertiveness among students with special needs in accessing information services at the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that students with disabilities demonstrate assertive behaviors through their ability to express information needs clearly, maintain self-respect while respecting others, and assertively decline requests that do not align with their comfort or capacity. Additionally, librarians implement several service strategies, including inclusive service training, the provision of accessibility facilities, managerial support, and the promotion of awareness among the academic community regarding disability-inclusive services. The study concludes that the assertiveness of students with disabilities grows alongside responsive services, supportive environments, and positive interactions between users and librarians. The implication of this research highlights the need to strengthen inclusive service policies, particularly in digital accessibility, enhance librarians’ competencies in serving users with disabilities, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure that information needs of all users are equitably met.

Global health and well-being issues in SDGs 3 require libraries to play an active role as mediators of health information. The purpose of this study is to analyze the urgency of Information Literacy as a key instrument for achieving SDGs 3 and to formulate the strategic role of library management in ensuring that Information Literacy programs are aligned with and contribute directly to the Health and Well-being targets set out in the SDGs. Research Method uses a systematic literature review method, data were sourced from Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, and Dimensions for the period 2015-2025. Following a rigorous selection process, 36 articles were analyzed using systematic content analysis techniques. Data Analysis is carried out using systematic content analysis techniques to classify and synthesize literature into coherent research findings. Results The findings reveal that strategic library management through policy integration, ICT digitization, and facility strengthening plays a crucial role in enhancing health information literacy. Librarians act as facilitators bridging information gaps via collaboration with health institutions. These strategic partnerships ensure literacy programs remain relevant, inclusive, and capable of addressing resource constraints. In Conclusion, that integrated library management is essential for improving evidence-based health decision-making in communities, thereby contributing significantly to the attainment of SDG 3 targets. Penelitian ini bertujuan rekonseptualisasi praktik green library melalui perspektif yurisprudensi lingkungan Islam, khususnya prinsip Ḥifẓ al-Bi'ah, dalam konteks perpustakaan perguruan tinggi Islam. Menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi non-partisipatif, serta telaah kebijakan dan SOP, penelitian dilakukan selama September-November 2026 dengan lima informan dari unsur kepala perpustakaan, pustakawan, dosen, dan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa kesadaran ekologis sivitas akademika didorong oleh spiritualitas, di mana tindakan ramah lingkungan dipahami sebagai ibadah dan tanggung jawab khalifah terhadap bumi. Selain itu, nilai Islam terintegrasi dalam kebijakan operasional melalui penghematan energi, digitalisasi layanan, dan pengelolaan limbah yang dikaitkan dengan prinsip maqasid al-shari‘ah. Namun, implementasi masih menghadapi hambatan berupa keterbatasan pendanaan, resistensi budaya digital, serta inkonsistensi pelaksanaan SOP di tingkat operasional. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa rekontekstualisasi green library berbasis Ḥifẓ al-Bi'ah memiliki legitimasi teologis dan operasional yang kuat, serta menawarkan model keberlanjutan yang lebih holistik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada perluasan pemahaman green library tidak hanya sebagai agenda teknokratis global, tetapi sebagai praksis keberlanjutan berbasis nilai yang relevan dengan lingkungan akademik Muslim. Temuan ini membuka ruang bagi formulasi kebijakan ekologis yang lebih integratif dan berakar pada spiritualitas keagamaan.

The quality of collections in the library is an important parameter in the assessment of a library. As an information provider unit, the library must be able to ensure that the library materials that are held and stored must be in accordance with the needs of the users and the library needs to develop collections for the needs of the users. This study discusses the selection of library materials in the development of collections at the UPT library of UIN Saizu Purwokerto. The purpose of this study was to find out how the selection process for library materials was carried out in developing collections at UPT Saizu UIN library. The research method used is qualitative research by taking four respondents consisting of one head of the library and three librarians in the management of UIN Saizu. The interview technique was carried out in a structured manner using interview guidelines. The observation technique used non-participants by visiting directly to the research location for two weeks. The data validity technique is source triangulation and descriptive research data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the selection of library materials does not run smoothly when carried out by professional librarians who can build collections. Selection of library materials carried out by UPT Saizu UIN library firstly the librarian submits proposals from students who have completed the list of recommendations given by the library, checking library catalogs through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) searches, verifying by checking and completing bibliographic data for each title. The tools used by the UIN Saizu library are book scales and publisher catalogs.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konseptual manajemen informasi berbasis kearifan lokal guna mendukung pengembangan koleksi berkelanjutan untuk permukiman berkelanjutan (SDGs 11). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka kualitatif, artikel ini menyintesis literatur teoretis dan empiris dari satu dekade terakhir. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal ke dalam manajemen informasi memerlukan pergeseran paradigma: kearifan lokal harus direposisi dari objek dokumentasi pasif menjadi landasan epistemologis aktif yang membingkai seluruh siklus hidup informasi. Model yang diusulkan mengadaptasi siklus hidup informasi konvensional menjadi proses siklis enam tahap: perencanaan partisipatif, akuisisi kolaboratif dan etis, organisasi kontekstual, preservasi berkelanjutan, akses inklusif, serta evaluasi dampak dan umpan balik. Model ini menghasilkan Koleksi Berkelanjutan yang didefinisikan melalui tiga dimensi yang saling terkait: keberlanjutan konten (mendukung ketahanan ekologis dan sosial), keberlanjutan proses (pengelolaan yang ramah lingkungan dan partisipatif), dan keberlanjutan dampak (kontribusi terukur terhadap perencanaan permukiman dan ketahanan komunitas). Kajian ini menjembatani kesenjangan teoretis antara manajemen informasi, studi kearifan lokal, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan, serta menawarkan kerangka praktis bagi lembaga informasi untuk berkontribusi secara strategis menuju permukiman yang inklusif, aman, tangguh, dan berkelanjutan. Abstral harus ditulis dengan ringkas dan jelas.

The digitization of library collections presents significant challenges related to copyright, particularly in balancing public access to information with legal protection for creators. This study aims to analyze the implementation of copyright in the digitization of collections at the Library STIKES Wira Medika Bali, identify the obstacles encountered, and formulate appropriate management strategies. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model (data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions). The results of the study indicate that the library’s digitization policy has integrated legal, administrative, and technical aspects, including verification of work ownership, the use of author statements, and a multi-tiered access system. However, implementation still faces challenges such as the complexity of copyright regulations, limitations in digital system integration, a shortage of human resources, and the absence of standardized technical guidelines. The strategies implemented include access restrictions, strengthening legal documentation, user education through information ethics outreach and plagiarism checks, and collection selection based on academic needs. This study concludes that responsible collection digitization requires a comprehensive and sustainable approach, including strengthening integrated systems, developing operational standards, enhancing librarian capacity, and collaborating with external parties. Thus, libraries can serve as mediators that maintain a balance between information access and legal compliance in the digital age. This article explores the assertive behaviour of librarians in an effort to improve service quality in the digital era. It is expected that librarians can adjust to the rapid development of technology and the increasingly complex demands of users. To face these challenges, assertive behaviour is required, which includes effective communication skills, the ability to express opinions assertively, and self-confidence. This research uses the literature study method to look at various scientific sources on assertive behaviour and its impact on library service quality. The results show that assertive behaviour helps create good interactions between librarians and users, increases user satisfaction with services, and supports the transformation of libraries towards digital-based services. It is hoped that this research will provide insights for librarians on how to develop assertive skills to improve the quality of services provided by digital libraries.
