Abstract

This research is motivated by the level of work discipline, compensation and organizational structure at PT Sejati Karya Perkasa Medan which is still not good. This can be seen from the increase in employee absenteeism and delays as well as employee absenteeism every year so that it has an impact on decreasing employee performance. This study is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach, with a population of 87 employees and taking a sample of 87 people using the census method, then analyzed with multiple regression analysis with the results showing that there is a positive and significant influence between work discipline, compensation and organizational culture on employee performance. Based on the termination test of 65.9%, while the most influential variable is work discipline.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the marketing strategies implemented to increase sales at Warkop Agam Medan. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method and was conducted at Warkop Agam, located at Jalan Karya Wisata No. 73, Pangkalan Mansyur, Medan Johor District, Medan City, North Sumatra. Data were collected from both primary and secondary sources using techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis involved organizing and interpreting data through a qualitative descriptive approach supported by relevant literature and expert opinions. The findings indicate that: (1) Warkop Agam applies a marketing strategy focused on excellent customer service, consistent product quality, and varied pricing; (2) While annual sales have experienced fluctuations, the overall trend remains stable without significant impact on year-over-year growth; (3) A notable strength is the shop’s strategic location along a major road, contributing to its visibility; and (4) The main weakness lies in limited digital marketing efforts, particularly underutilization of social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and food vlogs. This research highlights the importance of integrating traditional marketing with digital strategies to enhance competitive advantage in the culinary MSME sector

Abstract

The training focuses on managing Indonesian traditional cuisine and disseminating nutritious food to the younger generation, with the objective of showcasing the rich diversity of Indonesian culinary heritage. This curriculum instructs on traditional food processing methods utilizing local resources, while promoting the significance of a nutritious diet and balanced nutrition. Participants get theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the selection, preparation, and presentation of nutritious meals. Furthermore, students are encouraged to provide nutritious food to anyone in need, particularly children and disadvantaged families, to cultivate empathy and social consciousness. This initiative connects the youth with the culinary legacy of the archipelago, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and incorporates local food components. Consequently, the younger generation is anticipated to serve as catalysts for change, prioritizing personal health and community well-being while enhancing quality of life sustainably.

Abstract

The study was conducted to test and analyze the influence on service quality and brand image on customer satisfaction at Istana CCTV Medan. The research used a quantitative research approach, while this type of research is a quantitative associative study. The research population were 355 customers and the research samples consisted of 78 customers, drawn by using simple random sampling techniques. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods and classical assumption testing. Partially, the results on study showed that service quality and brand image had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Istana CCTV Medan. Simultaneously, service quality and brand image have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Istana CCTV Medan. The value on adjusted R2 was 0,626, meaning that the variable variation in customer satisfactioncan be explained by the two independent variables up to62.6% and the remaining 37.4% can be explained by other variables

Abstract

Lecturer performance is a critical factor in improving the quality of higher education. This study investigates the impact of digital competence and psychological well-being on lecturer performance, with servant leadership as a mediating variable. A quantitative methodology was employed, collecting data through structured questionnaires distributed to lecturers at several private universities in Medan City. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that digital competence and psychological well-being positively and significantly affect lecturer performance. Additionally, servant leadership mediates the relationship between these independent variables and lecturer performance, highlighting its essential role in enhancing lecturers’ digital readiness and psychological well-being. This study contributes to the theoretical framework by integrating leadership theory with individual attributes (competence and well-being) to examine their influence on lecturer performance in higher education. The findings emphasize the importance of adopting servant leadership to improve lecturer performance by fostering digital competence and promoting psychological well-being.

Abstract

A positive brand image and favorable word of mouth can lead consumers to be loyal to the online games they play, prompting them to repurchase the products and even promote them to other consumers. This study aims to determine the influence of brand image and word of mouth on the online game purchase decisions of students at Cendana Polytechnic. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. A sample of 53 consumers was selected using incidental sampling. The results of the study indicate that both brand image and word of mouth have a significant simultaneous effect on consumer loyalty. Partially, brand image has a significant impact on consumer loyalty, and word of mouth also significantly influences consumer loyalty. Both brand image and word of mouth are important factors in fostering consumer loyalty to the offered products; positive brand image and word of mouth will enhance consumer loyalty. Keywords: Brand image, Word of mouth, Purchase decisions. Dengan Brand image yang baik, dan Word of mouth yang diterima dengan positif maka konsumen akan loyal terhadap game online yang dimainkan dan akan membeli kembali produk bahkan sampai mempromosikannya kepada konsumen lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Brand image dan Word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian game online oleh mahasiswa Politeknik Cendana. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 53 konsumen dengan metode insidental sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara simultan Brand image dan Word of mouth berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Secara parsial brand image berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas kosumen dan wom berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Brand image dan Word of mouth salah satu faktor penting agar konsumen loyal terhadap produk yang ditawarkan, karena dengan Brand image dan word of mouth yang positif, maka akan terjadi Loyalitas konsumen. Kata Kunci: Citra Merk, Word of Mouth, Keputusan Pembelian

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas tenaga pendidik dalam mengajar di Sekolah Budi Utomo Medan. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian dekriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis adalah teknik wawancara terstruktur. Dari hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah, diperoleh informasi bahwa kualitas guru yang mengajar di sekolah tersebut masih kurang baik, penguasaan materi guru sudah cukup baik, tapi kurang dalam menguasai kelas dan cuek dalam menghadapi anak didik, serta kurangnya keinginan dari guru itu sendiri dalam meningkatkan kompetensi diri. Hal tersebut membuat kualitas guru semakin menurun.

Abstract

Loyal customers have a relatively permanent, long-term fanaticism towards an item from the company of their choice, do not want to switch to another product, and even influence other parties to use that product. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of product quality on customer loyalty at PO Trijaya. The results of the correlation coefficient test show that the coefficient value is 0.727, so it can be said that the product quality variable and the customer loyalty variable have a strong correlation. The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the coefficient of determination value is 0.529, so it can be said that 52.9% of the customer loyalty variable is influenced by the product quality variable, while the remainder is influenced by other variables not mentioned in this research. From the results of hypothesis testing, the Z-count value (7.57) is greater than the Z-table (1.96), so H0 is accepted and Ha is accepted. Thus, service quality has a significant effect on customer loyalty at PO Trijaya
