Abstract

Penyuluhan mengenai pembuatan pupuk kompos cair memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap praktik pertanian berkelanjutan. Tulisan ini membahas hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan pembuatan pupuk kompos cair di Desa Binuang Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Metode penyuluhan yang digunakan meliputi pemberian materi, demonstrasi praktik, dan diskusi interaktif dengan masyarakat. Hasil dari penyuluhan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pembuatan pupuk kompos cair, serta dampak positifnya terhadap lingkungan dan pertanian lokal.

Abstract

One of the tourist attractions that can support the regional economy in Kampar Regency is the imbo putui customary forest located in Petapahan Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The location has a clean river with large trees around it. Many residents who come from Pekanbaru and other areas deliberately visit the imbo putui forest. The application of environmentally friendly tourism is carried out by observing the imbo putui customary forest area in accordance with environmentally friendly criteria. The development and tourist attraction of the imbo putui customary forest will have an impact on the arrival of visitors to the imbo putui customary forest tourist attraction, which will increase the income of the Petapahan Village community. The tourism sector is a potential sector to be developed as a source of regional income. The development of tourism depends on the visits that come to visit the place. The increase in the number of visits that occurs is a mirror of the continued development of tourism, to maintain and increase the number of tourist visits.

Abstract

Budidaya ikan dalam ember atau lebih dikenal dengan BUDIKDAMBER merupakan cara budidaya ikan dan sayuran dalam satu ember. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang Budikdamber dalam memanfaatkan keterbatasan lahan dan pentingnya mengkonsumsi ikan dan sayuran serta cara mengolahnya sehingga menjadi makanan yang bergizi tinggi. Mitra dalam kegiatan BUDIKDAMBER ini adalah perempuan pemberdayaan keluarga kesejahteraan (PKK) dan ibu-ibu rumah tangga dari desa Ujung Tanjung. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan dan juga terdapat sesi tanya jawab yang merupakan diskusi dua arah antara mitra dengan tim Kukerta sehingga dapat memberikan penjelasan yang dirasa kurang jelas oleh mitra atau juga dapat membantu memberikan tambahan informasi bagi mitra. Tahapan dalam BUDIKDAMBER meliputi tahap persiapan dan pelatihan Budikdamber plus Aquaponik.

Abstract

Shorea leprosula is one of the most important commercial timber in Indonesia. The existence of this red meranti plant is included in the IUCN Red List with an endangered conservation status. Efforts to increase the productivity of red meranti plants can be done by improving the quality of the planting media and increasing the growth of seedlings. This study aims to determine the effects and the best composition of planting media and chicken manure on the growth of red meranti seedlings. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden and Forestry Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. The method used in this research is a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial pattern consisting of 9 treatments and 3 replications so that 27 experimental units were obtained. The first factor is the concentration of planting media (B) consisting of 3 levels, namely: peat (B1) = 100%, minerals (B2): 100%, combination of peat + minerals = 50% + 50%. The second factor is the concentration of poultry manure (P) consisting of 3 levels, namely: P1 = 10%, P2 = 20%, P3 = 30%. The results showed that the combination of peat and mineral (B3) planting media significantly increased the height of red meranti seedlings with an average of 0.731 cm and a root crown ratio of 3.972. The treatment of poultry manure had no significant effect on the observed parameters of the red meranti seedlings. The best treatment combination was found in the B3P2 combination with an average increase in height of 0.860 cm, diameter increase of 0.089 mm, dry weight of 5.190 g, root crown ratio of 4.770.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan gangguan tumbuh kembang yang terjadi pada anak. Hal tersebut biasanya terjadi karena kurangnya gizi kronis pada periode awal pertumbuhan anak. Umumnya anak yang menderita stunting akan terlihat proporsional, akan tetapi jika dibandingkan dengan anak seusianya, dia akan terlihat lebih pendek atau kerdil. Meski begitu tidak semua anak yang terlihat pendek atau kerdil itu menderita stunting. Seorang anak dikatakan menderita stunting jika tumbuh kembangnya berada dibawah standar kurva pertumbuhan menurut data WHO. Seorang anak yang menderita stunting, prtumbuhan dan perkembangannya sangat buruk, tidak hanya terlihat pendek atau kerdil, akan tetapi tingkat kecerdasannya menurun, gangguan berbicara, serta kesulitan dalam belajar nanatinya, selain itu sistem kekebalan tubuhnya lebih rendah sehingga mudah terinfeksi virus dan bakteri. Dari ulikan tersebut, maka Kukerta Bangun Kampung desa Simandolak melakukan sosialisasi, memberikan pengetahuan dan informasi tentang upaya pencegahan stunting kepada masyarakat simandolak. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah : Pengertian dan ciri-ciri stunting, dampak, serta upaya yang dilakukan dalam pencegahan stunting itu sendiri.

Abstract

Tin mining activities in Siabu Village, Salo District, Kampar Regency, have environmental impacts, leading to soil pollution by heavy metals, particularly lead (Pb). This study aims to evaluate the potential and growth of five plant species (A. mangium, P. falcataria, S. macrophylla, I. cylindrica, and M. malabathricum) in phytoremediation of soil contaminated with lead from tin mining. The research employed a completely randomized design with five treatments and four replications, totaling 20 experimental units. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0, and if significant, further analysis was conducted using Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at a 5% level of significance. The results of the research that had been conducted showed that the five types of plants had the potential to absorb the heavy metal lead (Pb) but with different absorption concentration levels. The highest absorption of lead (Pb) in the seedling group was P1 (A. mangium) treatment with the ability to absorb Pb metal at 6.33 ppm and the remaining Pb metal content in the soil of 14.18 ppm, while the absorption of heavy metal lead (Pb) which was highest in the lower vegetation group was treatment P5 (M. malabathricum) of 9.10 ppm with the remaining Pb metal content in the soil of 7.75 ppm. Abstract

Acacia crassicarpa is one of the Fabaceae family which has been widely recommended for planting in the context of rehabilitation of critical lands as well as HTI development, due to its fast growth, wide adaptation, and resistance to unfavorable conditions. Acacia crassicarpa in the nursery is often attacked by various pests, one of which is the Paracoccus marginatus. Efforts to the use of Annona muricata leaf control Paracoccus marginatus currently carried out generally use chemical methods. extract is an alternative that can be used as an environmentally friendly pesticide. This study aims to determine the utilization of Annona muricata leaf extract to control Paracoccus marginatus in Acacia crassicarpa nursery and to determine the best concentration of Annona muricata leaf extract for the mortality rate of Paracoccus marginatus. This study used a completely randomized design method (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications with concentrations of vegetable pesticide solutions. P0 = control (without Annona muricata leaf extract), P1 = 10 g/l of water, P2 = 20 g/l of water, P3 = 30 g/l of water. The results showed that the botanical pesticide from Annon muricata leaf extract concentration of 30 g/l of water is the best concentration in controlling Paracoccus marginatus with the fastest initial time of insect death is 2.5 hours (2 hours 30 minutes), 50% fastest time of death (LT50) is 8.5 hours (8 hours 30 minutes) and total mortality amounted to 90 %. Abstract

Tanah adalah perubahan mineral dan bahan organik yang dipengaruhi oleh bahan induk, iklim, topografi, waktu, dan vegetasi yang dapat dibedakan dari ciri-ciri bahan induk asalnya secara sifat fisik tanah dan memiliki beberapa jenis tanah seperti jenis tanah Inceptisol adalah tanah Inceptisol. Tanah Inceptisol merupakan salah satu jenis tanah pada lahan kering yang luasnya 2.600.000 ha di Provinsi Riau dan salah satu penggunaan lahan tanah Inceptisol berada di Riau yaitu di kampus Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakterisasi sifat fisika tanah inceptisol pada penggunaan lahan di Kampus Bina Widya Universitas Riau. metode yang digunakan survei dan observasi dengan  Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lahan Inceptisol di Universitas Riau memberikan pengaruh terhadap perubahan sifat fisik tanah terutama pada penggunaan lahan akasia dan Arboretum memberikan peningkatan terhadap kadar air, C-organik, warna tanah, dan porositas. Selain itu penggunaan lahan rumput, ekaliptus memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan total ruang pori, permeabilitas, laju infiltrasi. Tekstur tanah pada berbagai penggunaan lahan memiliki tekstur tanah yang hampir sama yaitu kandungan fraksi pasir yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

The Indonesian government is committed to reducing carbon and greenhouse gas emissions through the Forestry and Other Land Uses (FOLU) Net-Sink 2030 scheme. Efforts that can be made to support the FOLU Net-Sink 2030 is by knowing the carbon storage potential in a forest area. This research aims to calculate the amount of potential biomass carbon storage in the talang forest. The methods used in this research are non-destructive sampling and destructive sampling. The method with destructive sampling for seedlings, understorey and litters, while for saplings, poles, trees and necromass with non-destructive sampling method. The calculation results showed that carbon stocks were trees (77.76 tons/ha), poles (9.56 tons/ha), saplings (7.99 tons/ha), seedlings and understorey (0.65 tons/ha), litters (1.20 tons/ha) and necromass (2.39 tons/ha). Aboveground carbon storage in the talang forest was found to be 99.56 tons/ha. The total aboveground carbon storage potential of the gutter forest was 7,933 tons of carbon. Key words:carbon, biomass, talang forest, FOLU Net-Sink 2030

Abstract

Palm sap is a liquid produced from palm flower threads. Dates juice can be made into drinks, and sugar, liquid sugar, and block sugar. Many coffee shop companies use sap products and the business feasibility of selling sap products is unknown. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the juice product business in Binawidya District, Pekanbaru City. Data collection uses observation methods, in-depth interviews, and library research. Sampling by census method. Data analysis was performed with quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the total turnover of day shops and coffee shops exceeds the total costs of business actors. The total revenue that is greater than the total cost indicates that the palm juice product business is profitable. The largest total income earned is the coffee shop business with a nominal value of Rp. 46,115,003/mount. The level of income at the coffee shop is influenced by the service of processed palm juice products. The results of the R/C analysis of palm sap product companies in Binawidya District, Pekanbaru City, obtained for each sap product company is R/C ratio > 1, which means the company is profitable and the company is feasible to work on.
