Abstract

Indonesia has the potential of natural resources is very high and plentiful. One of them from forest products, both timber forest products and non timber forest products. Bee Trigona spp. is one of the non timber forest resources potential products developed as the price of honey and propolis are high. Cultivation Trigona spp. still a bit of doing at the moment. Around Indigenous Forests of Rumbio ban is one of the locations that have the potential for cultivation Trigona spp. because it has abundant natural resources and nature of the support for the development of the bee. This study aims to determine the prospects for cultivation development Trigona spp. around Forest Prohibition of Indigenous of Rumbio Kampar regency. Materials research is a questionnaire sheet. The data have been analyzed by qualitative analysis. Research showed that the development of cultivation Trigona spp. very suitable to be developed around the Prohibition of Indigenous Forests of Rumbio because climatic conditions in accordance with the development of the bee, the land available for cultivation, as well as the availability of various types of plants produce nectar and pollen as a food source Trigona spp. Key words: Prospects for Development, Indigenous Prohibition Forest, Cultivation Trigona spp.

Abstract

Indonesia has the potential of megabiodiversity because it has the most completely in the world’s biodiversity. Many potentials of tourism scattered through out indonesia archipelago which can be calculated fairly gobal appeal. One of the districts located in kepulauan Riau Province is kepulauan Anambas regency. Kepulauan Anambas Regency has natural forest and potential of nature ecotourism in the form of temburun waterfall flowing directly into the sea as the greatest potential in Anambas Regency as tourism attraction. This study aims to know the leisure of visitors to Temburun Waterfall Kepulauan Anambas Regency Kepulauan Riau Province and analyze the condition on infrastructure in Temburun waterfall Kepulauan Anambas Regency  in kepulauan Riau province. This study using observation, quitionnaire and literature study. The result showed that visitor’s leisure in ecotourism Temburun waterfall Anambas regency relatively high with percentage of 92% of the 100% visitors who visited temburun waterfall and the infrastructure is something that influence each other and can not be separated by the sustainablity of tourism activities, for the state of infrastructure at the site of Temburun waterfall is quite good.Keywords : Ecotourism, Temburun Waterfall, Kepulauan Anambas

Abstract

Elang Brontok (Nisaetus cirrhatus) adalah salah satu raptor yang keberadaannya terancam akibat perburuan liar dan degradasi habitat. Elang Brontok terpantau pada areal persawahan, perkebunan, hutan dan perkampungan di Siak. Elang Brontok tersebut kemungkinan bersarang di pohon yang memiliki kriteria khusus pada kawasan-kawasan berpohon tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kriteria pohon bersarang Elang Brontok yang hidup di Siak. Metode nest survey digunakan untuk menemukan sarang. Selanjutnya, dikarakterisasi pohon sarangnya. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 3 jenis pohon yang dipilih sebagai pohon sarang adalah Koompassia malaccensis (n=6), Shorea sp (n=1) dan Alstonia scholaris (n=1). Ketinggian pohon sarang antara 43-57 m dan posisi sarang berada pada ketinggian antara 23-40 m dari permukaan tanah. Sarang berada di pangkal cabang pertama hingga keenam yang ditopang tiga cabang vertikal. Tajuk pohon yang paling banyak dipilih adalah tipe payung (37%).

Abstract

Pesatnya pembangunan di wilayah perkotaan Rengat dan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk berakibat terjadi pengurangan luas jenis-jenis Ruang Terbuka Hijau yang dapat mempengaruhi keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan satwa burung yang terdapat di wilayah perkotaan Rengat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman dan menentukan kelimpahan jenis burung di Ruang Terbuka Hijau Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode titik hitung (Point count) dilakukan secara purposive sampling pada bulan September-November 2015. Analisis keanekaragaman burung pada penelitian ini menggunakan Indeks Shannon-Wiener, analisis kemiripan tipe RTH menggunakan koefisien Sorensen. Sebanyak 23 spesies teramati yang termasuk kedalam 14 famili. Burung gereja erasia (Passer montanus) merupakan spesies yang memiliki nilai kelimpahan paling tinggi di setiap lokasi. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman burung pada tiga lokasi RTH yang diamati berkisar antara 1,356-2,218, nilai keanekaragaman tertinggi terdapat di RTH Halaman Perkantoran (Bupati). Nilai indeks kemiripan tipe RTH pada tiga lokasi yang diamati berkisar 0,535-0,636. Nilai indeks similaritas tertinggi terdapat antara tipe RTH Taman Kota (Danau Raja) dengan Halaman Perkantoran (Bupati) (0,636). Nilai indeks terendah terdapat antara tipe RTHTaman Kota (Danau Raja) dengan Lapangan Hijau (0,535).

Abstract

Telah diketahui bahwa populasi satwa langka terus mengalami penurunan, salah satu satwa langka tersebutyaitu bangau bluwok (Mycteria cinerea), hal ini disebabkan oleh perburuan perdagangan, gangguanmanusia dan konversi habitat. Bangau bluwok masuk dalam daftar endangered species oleh IUCN. Populasibangau bluwok juga ditemukan di Provinsi Riau, salah satunya di Pulau Basu dengan nama lain PulauBakung yang berada di Kecamatan Kuala Indragiri, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Metode survei yangdigunakan yaitu menggunakan drone. Pengambilan data menggunakan drone terdiri dari empat lokasidengan 2 kali pengulangan dengan luas 6 hektar per lokasi. Drone diterbangkan dengan mode autopilotmengikuti waypoint yang dibuat menggunakan software Mission Planner 1.3.3.2. Tujuan penelitian iniyaitu menentukan tingkat kepadatan dan pola sebaran bangau bluwok. Pola sebaran ditentukanmenggunakan Indeks Morisita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kepadatan Bangau Bluwok lokasi 1dengan kepadatan 0.33 individu/ha, lokasi 2 dengan kepadatan 1 individu/ha, lokasi 3 dengan kepadatan0.42/ha dan lokasi 4 dengan kepadatan 0.08 individu/ha, dan nilai rata-rata tingkat kepadatan yaitu 0,47individu/ha. Pola sebaran bangau bluwok terdiri dari sebaran seragam dan sebaran mengelompok, secaraumum pola sebaran cenderung seragam, pola sebaran seragam pada lokasi 1 dan 2, sebaran mengelompokpada lokasi 3, dan pada lokasi 4 tidak diketahui pola sebarannya.

Abstract

Rokan Hulu has one of the natural famous tourism namely Aek Martua Waterfalls, Aek Martua waterfalls managed by local goverment who cooperate with the local society. Management of the Aek Martua waterfalls that  managed by local society will affect the level of visitors, because the visitors has own assessment of there tourism attractions. The purpose of this research is to determine participation society in management waterfalls. This research held in Aek Martua waterfalls and Bangun Purba Rokan Hulu, Riau Province. In August until September 2016. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approachment. Based on research results perception of the visitors about ecotourism in Aek Martua waterfalls many as 93,3% visitors know the conditions of Aek Martua waterfalls, through the affective aspect as many as 76,7% said that Aek Martua waterfalls is still beautiful and 96,7% agree to contribute. There are 60% of society participated in discussion and give opinion for the plan of the tourist attraction, role of society forward implementation as much as 90% participated to managed Aek Martua waterfalls. For receive benefits 46,7% society accept economics benefit, and as many as 36,7% society  contributed in monitoring and evaluating activities Aek Martua waterfall.Keywords: Ecotourism, Aek Martua, Perception visitors, Participation of Society

Abstract

Batangkoban Waterfall located in Lubuk Ambacang Village. This waterfall has uniqueness, which is the form of the waterfall with characteristic of seven levels that have different heights. The purpose of this research is to determine the condition and the potential of tourism object and to know the form of local community participation in the providing facilities and infrastructure of the attractions Batangkoban Waterfall. This research uses observation method, questionnaire and literature study. The result of this research shows that Batangkoban Waterfall becomes the source of fresh water supply. The people around the waterfall also participate in managing the natural waterfalls, namely as a tour guide, transportation service providers for visitors in the form of speed boat, vehicle parking providers, parking attendants, food and beverage sellers and as a supporter of nature conservation and waterfall attractions by taking care the facilities and infrastructure previously provided by the local government. Keywords: Batangkoban Waterfall, Participation, Community.

Abstract

Denalo Maras Waterfall located in Batang Cenaku District in Alim village. Denalo Maras offers the beautiful nature scenery like forest and the twin of waterfall that flow in one place. This research aims to determine the perception of society and the interest of visitors toward of Waterfall Denalo Maras Batang Cenaku District Indragiri Hulu regency Riau Province. This research used the observation method, quisioner and references study. The result of this research showed that the interests of society to waterfall Denalo Maras still have of high percentage that is 90,52% of 38 visitors that visited this waterfall. The visitors give some expression like environment, beautifull scenery and comfortable when visit this place. The result of this research showed that visitors feel this location very clean with the percentage 94,74% visitors says beautifull scenary with the percentage 97,37% and the comfortable place is 100,00%.Keywords: Interest, Denalo Maras Waterfall, Batang Cenaku

Abstract

Natural tourism consists object and recreational tourism which related any activities that explores the potential of natural resources and its ecosystems. One of the places which required it is Berastagi, Tanah Karo in North Sumatera. The freshness and coolness of Berastagi atmosphere attracts many tourists to visit it. One of the attraction in Berastagi is the famous Mount Sibayak which is still developing until today. The purpose of this research is find out the characteristic of visitors who came for recreation to Sibayak Mountain, to know  how much economic value tour of Sibayak Mountain per year based on Travel Cost Methode (TCM), to find out the factors affecting of economic value based on Travel Cost Methode (TCM). Materials and objects of this research is questionnaire sheet. Data collected using SPSS 21 (Statistic Package For Social Science) analyze. The results showed that Sibayak Mountain economic value based on Travel Cost Methode (TCM) of Rp.3.926.520.145,6/ year, with average person of Rp. 103.438,36. Keywords : Economic Value , Cost Travel, Sibayak Mountain

Abstract

The problem of  Thomas langur occur arround of Hutan Larangan Adat Rumbio one of them is Thomas langur entering the lovihood zone of society dan attck the palnt arround of society. This is disturb the activity that causes harm like reduce of productivity of palnt. This reseacrh doing at February-March 2015 in Hutan Larangan Adat Rumbio. The method that used in this research is Observe on Partisipant, snowball sampling. The daily habit of  Thomas Langur as long as period of research start from 06-08 o’clock include of the habot of eat (56,7%), take a rest (10,2%), grooming (22,1%), and playing (11%). The interaction of Thomas langur with society arround of  Hutan Larangan Adat Rumbio causes harm that occur by the society like failed to the harvest of rubber, fruits and the tools of plant of society. Key words: Thomas langur, Hutan Larangan Adat Rumbio, Pola Perilaku Thomas
