Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Synthetic Structural Analytical method using flashcard media on the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN Rang Warga Laok. This research uses quantitative methods with a pre-experimental research design and a one group pretest-posttest model. The sample used in this research was 14 students using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection used student reading ability test instruments and teacher and student activity observation sheets. The results of the research show that 1) The results of the paired sample t-test calculation at a significance level of 0.05 show that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Synthetic Structural Analytical method using flashcard media. on the initial reading ability of class I students at SDN Rang Warga Laok 2) the application of the Synthetic Structural Analytical method using flashcard media in learning activities that lasted for 3 meetings was carried out well and obtained an average implementation score for the SAS learning method of 100% in the very good category , the average teacher activity score is 98% in the very good category and the average student activity score is 82% in the very good category.

Abstract

Implementing the learning process in several elementary schools still emphasizes mastery of learning materials or theory-based learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the threaded integrative learning model in developing elementary school students' creative thinking skills as one of the essential skills in the 21st century. This study used an experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research is 313 students. The sample of this research was 173 students of class V selected using the cluster random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using tests. The instrument used to collect data is test questions. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative, and inferential statistics. The study results showed a difference between the creative thinking skills of the experimental group students, who were taught by the threaded type of integrative learning model, and the control group, who were prepared by conventional methods. The threaded integrative learning model could develop the creative thinking skills of elementary school students. The threaded integrative learning model makes it easier for students to learn so that they can develop the creative thinking skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Learning in elementary school is implemented by giving model, building willingness, as well as developing the students’ creativity in the learning process. Those are the attempts in preparing creative and competitive young generation in globalization era. In order to create educational aims in the elementary school, an innovation on learning model that can develop the students’ creative thinking aspect is required, so that it creates creativities that can be implemented in daily life in the society. Based on the observations on learning process that have been done there was no synergy yet between the aim and method as well as learning model that was used, moreover, learning process that was implemented was still teacher centered. The aims of this research are to find out: (1) The importance of creative thinking ability development, (2) students’ needs on learning resources, (3) students’ needs on alternative learning model, (4) students’ interest in learning model that develops creative thinking ability, (5) teachers’ needs on learning resources, (6) teachers’ needs on alternative learning model, (7) teachers’ interest on learning model that develops students’ creative thinking ability. Method that was used in this research is descriptive qualitative data gathering in form of questionnaires to teachers and students. The results of this research revealed that both the teachers and the students agreed on alternative learning model that is appropriate with the students’ needs to develop creative thinking. In relation to the development of elementary school creative thinking learning model can be considered as acceptable or approved.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology is opening up new avenues for integrating artificial intelligence into education. However, there is a prevailing belief that the use of AI could impact students' problem-solving abilities. This research seeks to explore teachers' perceptions regarding the potential influence of artificial intelligence on these skills. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study involved a survey conducted with 57 participants. Data was collected through a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal several key insights: (1) teachers generally agree that AI, particularly tools like ChatGPT, can enhance students’ engagement in problem-solving activities, (2) the primary challenge in implementing AI is navigating ethical concerns, and (3) students indeed benefit from the support of AI in problem-solving tasks, especially in the area of formulating solutions. These results underscore the importance of encouraging the integration of AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, into teaching methods in elementary schools. Such integration could foster a more interactive and adaptive development of students' problem-solving skills. Moreover, the positive views held by teachers about using AI in education serve as a solid foundation for creating training programs aimed at enhancing educators' knowledge and ability to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa serta untuk mengetahui pentingnya motivasi belajar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PKn materi “Aturan di Sekitarku” melalui penerapan permainan menjelajahi di sekolah pada kelas IV SDN Sidotopo Wetan I/255 Surabya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV-E SDN Sidotopo Wetan I/255 Surabaya serta salag satu guru kelas yang ada disana. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah: 1) Observasi, 2) Tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian permainan jelajahi sekolahku memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa hal ini terlihat dari rata-rata pemberian angket sebelum pemberian eksperimen berupa kegiatan pembelajaran sebanyak dua kali memiliki penurunan dari yang sebelumnya memiliki rata-rata 85,34 menjadi 74,8 kemudian setelah diberi perlakuan dan di observasi dengan memberikan lembar prestasi rata-rata mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82,58.

Abstract

The phenomenon of globalization has been recognized as a determining factor in the erosion of moral principles and personal integrity, giving rise to great concern and requiring the involvement of many related parties. Teachers have an important role as teachers and educators, namely educating students' character. The purpose of this needs analysis is to find out how teachers can better utilize local wisdom to increase the profile of Pancasila students through the use of media. In this study, researchers used three data collection techniques: interview techniques, needs questionnaire techniques, and observation techniques. The subject of this research was the fifth grade teacher at SDN Bancaran 3 Bangkalan. The results of this research show that teachers need a medium that is able to facilitate teaching students about traditional Madurese games in detail.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of living in harmony through the STAD-type cooperative model for fourth-grade students at SDN Labang. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the learning process using the cooperative model in living in harmony at SDN Labang is going well. Students can carry out learning in harmony through group work. The teacher has also been successful in implementing the STAD-type cooperative model well with students. So that students can get closer and live in harmony with their friends.

Abstract

The lack or decline of students' learning motivation requires highly engaging learning activities, one of which is by implementing learning innovations through games that can be used as learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of the "Explore My School" game on increasing students' learning motivation. This research employs a quantitative experimental method with a one-shot case study design to test the predetermined hypothesis, conducted in Grade IV of SDN Sidotopo Wetan I/255 Surabaya. The implementation of the "Explore My School" game received positive responses from students, as they perceived the activity as making their classroom atmosphere more engaging. Observations also indicated that students appeared highly enthusiastic when the game was introduced. The conclusion of this study suggests that the game successfully increased students' learning motivation, as shown by their improved learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the hypothesis test results, where the t-value was 2.846, which is greater than the t-table value, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Additionally, this study can serve as a reference for teachers regarding one of the effective ways to enhance students' learning motivation.

Abstract

The impact of the ASEAN economic community on the development of industry 4.0 is increasingly massive. The education system needs a new buzz to respond to the development of industry 4.0. The Indonesian government continues to make changes and developments in the field of education to prepare learners to become knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and responsible human beings. The research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interview, and one in the documentation of strengthening life skills with integrase creative economic value. In this study, researchers successfully interviewed the principal, teacher, student, and creative ruler of the alumni element of Grafika Desa Putera Vocational High School (SMK Grafika Desa Putera). The results showed that  SMK Grafika Desa Putera integrates the important value of the creative economy for students in adaptive programs, local content, normative, productive, and self-development to produce productive, creative work. Vocational education aims to prepare graduates to be ready to work and innovate. The main purpose of this research is to know the content of the creative economy in shaping learners' life skills.

Abstract

Inadequate of schools and educators is less than optimal in implementing character education and the values contained in the Pancasila principles into learning at school or personal habituation. Implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile is less than optimal. This research aims to examine the implementation of religious values in the profile of Pancasila students in elementary schools in Madura. The type of research chosen in this research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The aim is to describe the implementation of Religious Values in the Pancasila Student Profile in Madura. This research was conducted at several elementary schools on Madura Island, including: SDN Gili Anyar 1 Bangkalan, SDN Kamal 2 Bangkalan, SDN Buddagan 2 Pamekasan, SDN Blumbungan 3 Pamekasan. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of religious values is carried out through activities (a) praying after and completing learning (b) memorizing short surahs before starting lessons (c) listening to chants of the holy verses of the Koran every Friday during learning activities (d) commemorating Islamic holidays (e) celebration of santri day by wearing Muslim dress.
