Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the results of learning evaluation and students' learning motivation in Class VIII SKI Subjects at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Private An-Nikmah Pulau Rakyat, Asahan District, Academic Year 2023/2024. This type of research is descriptive correlational. The population in this study were 160 students of the An-Nikmah Private Madrasah Tsanawiyah Madrasah Tsanawiyah class, Pulau Rakyat, Asahan Regency, as many as 160 people from all 4 classes. The sample taken was 32 students. The technique of collecting data is by giving a questionnaire containing statements of motivation to learn using a Likert scale and documents of student learning outcomes in the SKI subject, the object of class VIII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Private An-Nikmah Pulau Rakyat, Asahan Regency. Data analysis technique uses person product moment correlation analysis and simple linear regression test. The results obtained in the person product moment correlation test were 0.592 which showed that the correlation level was at a moderate level, while the results of the simple linear regression test obtained an R square of 0.351 which showed the effect of the results of the evaluation of learning on learning motivation of 35.1%. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used the Pearson product moment correlation test and a simple regression test with the help of SPSS for window 20. Thus the results of the study showed that there was a relationship between the results of learning evaluation and learning motivation. Keywords: Learning Evaluation Results, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Alam semesta, kecuali Allah SWT, meliputi benda-benda langit, seperti cakrawala, langit, bumi, bintang, gunung, dataran, sungai, lembah, tumbuhan, hewan, manusia, benda, dan sifat-sifat yang melekat pada benda-benda tersebut, baik yang berwujud maupun yang berwujud. tidak berwujud. Selain itu, ia menyatakan bahwa beberapa pemikir Islam kemudian mengkategorikan dunia menjadi empat komponen berbeda: ruh, substansi, ruang, dan waktu. Manusia telah muncul sebagai entitas di alam semesta, yang bertugas untuk memajukan kemajuan dan memastikan pertumbuhannya. Mereka yang berkecimpung di bidang pendidikan memahami bahwa keterkaitannya dengan proses penciptaan alam semesta terletak pada pengenalan potensi bawaan yang dianugerahkan Allah SWT kepada individu. Untuk mencapai potensi tersebut, hal ini tidak dapat dicapai secara spontan, melainkan memerlukan proses yang panjang dan berbagai tahapan yang mencakup kualitas, fasilitas, infrastruktur, dan alat yang melekat yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi perolehan informasi yang luas oleh individu. Pendidikan Islam mengajarkan bahwa alam semesta diciptakan khusus bagi umat manusia untuk memenuhi amanah Allah SWT sebagai khalifah yang bertugas membimbing, memelihara, melindungi, dan mentransformasikan alam menjadi pedoman hidup dengan memperoleh berbagai sifat untuk mengembangkan karakter tersebut. Dari sinilah umat manusia memahami alasan mendasar di balik penciptaan alam semesta, sehingga mengantarkan mereka menjadi hamba Allah SWT yang bertaqwa dan setia.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam berperan penting dalam mengembangkan potensi manusia sebagai makhluk yang diciptakan oleh Allah SWT dengan tujuan mulia. Sebagai khalifah di bumi, manusia memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengelola kekayaan alam dan berkontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara pemahaman manusia dalam perspektif Islam dan pendidikan Islam sebagai instrumen pembinaan. Melalui pendekatan filsafat pendidikan Islam, yang bersumber dari Al-Qur'an dan Hadis, penelitian ini menelusuri tujuan pendidikan yang sejalan dengan ajaran Islam, yaitu membentuk individu yang dapat melaksanakan tatakeimanan, tata-peribadatan, dan tata-muamalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek intelektual, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter yang utuh, dengan landasan kuat dalam pemahaman tentang hakikat manusia. Kesimpulan yang ditarik dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendidikan yang integratif untuk mencapai kebahagiaan dan kesuksesan dalam kehidupan dunia dan akhirat.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan proses pendewasaan manusia yang mencakup perubahan pemikiran rasional dan perasaan yang tidak emosional, serta memiliki empati terhadap lingkungan sosialnya. Pendidikan berperan dalam membentuk perilaku yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai dan budaya yang berkembang dalam masyarakat. Dalam Islam, pendidikan memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk tatanan masyarakat ideal yang sejalan dengan ajaran agama. Hubungan timbal balik antara pendidikan dan masyarakat sangat signifikan, di mana masyarakat memengaruhi pendidikan melalui norma dan nilai budaya, sementara pendidikan membentuk individu yang berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan masyarakat. Kajian filsafat pendidikan Islam menyoroti pentingnya pemahaman mendalam mengenai prinsip-prinsip pendidikan yang didasarkan pada ajaran Islam, yang di antaranya meliputi hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, sesama manusia, dan lingkungan alamnya. Hakikat masyarakat dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan Islam berpusat pada kerjasama kolektif untuk mencapai tujuan bersama, sesuai dengan prinsip aqidah, syariat, dan akhlak yang diajarkan Islam. Tulisan ini membahas bagaimana filsafat pendidikan Islam memberikan kerangka dasar bagi pembentukan masyarakat yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai Islami.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what learning strategies for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers use in improving students' communication skills, the extent of the effectiveness of PAI learning strategies in improving students' communication skills, and how students respond to the use of PAI learning strategies used in improving students' communication skills. This research was conducted at Al-Hijrah IT Junior High School Deli Serdang, using a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The informants in this study consisted of 2 Islamic Religious Education teachers, school principals, curriculum representatives, and eight students. The data will be gathered through observations, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing of a conclusion. The results of this study show that the PAI learning strategy is used to improve students' communication skills by using a student-centered learning approach (Student Centered Learning) or a scientific approach, as well as presentation and discussion learning methods. The use of PAI learning strategies in improving students' communication skills from this study shows that the PAI learning strategies used are effective, which can be seen from students' responses to PAI learning strategies used in improving students' communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of religious moderation at HKBP Nommensen University Medan as a case study. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenology. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. The informants consisted of lecturers, education staff, and students from various religious backgrounds. The results of the study show that religious moderation in the campus environment has been applied culturally and practically, as seen from the attitude of tolerance, the provision of interfaith worship facilities, and inclusive learning. However, the implementation has not been followed by a formal policy or a structured evaluation system. This condition makes the sustainability of moderation practices dependent on the values of the community and current leadership. In conclusion, the campus has become a participatory religious moderation space, but it is necessary to strengthen institutions in the form of written regulations and systematic evaluation to ensure the sustainability and quality of the implementation of moderation values in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how student organizations provide support to students in Islamic boarding schools, especially in achieving the vision and mission of Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which is based on subjective or phenomenological experiences experienced by individuals. This research then collects more information and is descriptive, or information obtained from informants. This research took place at Modern Islamic Boarding Schools in Asahan Regency, namely the Daar Al Uluum Asahan Modern Islamic Boarding School. The results of the study found that the role of the santri organization in realizing the vision and mission of the Islamic boarding school (a study in modern Islamic boarding schools throughout Asahan Regency) namely the work program of the santri organization is made according to the conditions and needs of each Islamic boarding school such as the fields of security, language, manners, teaching, worship, cleanliness, kitchen, facilities and infrastructure, sports and health. The implementation of the work program runs well according to the Islamic boarding school education calendar and the results of the annual meeting involving supervisors, administrators, and senior students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the empowerment efforts of the Islamic Religious Education Subject Teacher Consultation Group (MGMP PAI) in improving the competence and performance of teachers in teaching Islamic Religious Education subjects. The research method used is qualitative with the type of field research. Data were obtained through observation, interview, and document study. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman technique consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the empowerment of MGMP PAI group has made a significant contribution in improving teachers' competence and performance. Through the MGMP forum, teachers have the opportunity to share experiences, provide mutual input, develop a curriculum that is relevant to students' needs, apply innovative learning methods, increase teachers' motivation and confidence in teaching, deepen students' understanding of Islamic values, improve students' learning experience, and support the achievement of PAI learning objectives.

Abstract

Currently, in order to improve the quality of education, learning mathematics needs to undergo innovative changes in accordance with the times and technology. In addition, education must also build the values ​​and character of students through religious values. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The aim of the research is to describe Islamic values ​​and their integration into learning mathematics and science at MAN 2 Langkat in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Langkat, North Sumatra, with the research subjects being math and science teachers. Data was collected through observation, interviews, document studies, and literature. Data analysis was carried out by compiling, connecting, reducing, presenting, drawing conclusions, and verifying. The findings can be explained that Islamic values ​​in their integration into mathematics and science learning have been carried out well where they have been adapted to the curriculum and the school's vision and mission as outlined in the planning of relevant methods and media which are carried out from the beginning to the end of learning. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of learning that is integrated with Islamic values.
