Abstract

This study aims to analyze the religious guidance program for prisoners used in Class II B Prison in Pangkalan Berandan, Babalan Regency. To what extent can the results of this spiritual guidance affect the personality of the prisoner in Class II B Prison in Pangkalan Berandan. This research is qualitative in the form of an analytical description. This research data was collected by the method; 1) Observation, 2) Interview, and 3) Document Study. The results of this study indicate that: 1) There are three development programs implemented in Class II B Prison Pangkalan Berandan, Babalan district, namely spiritual development, independence development, and development of national and state awareness. 2) The implementation of religious guidance for convicts is carried out by (permanent) Islamic religious advisors and also prison staff (as a substitute for and monitors convicts). The implementation of the guidance carried out by the Islamic Religious Advisors uses the lecture method (tausiyah), questions and answers, practice, and memorization. 3) The implementation of Islamic spiritual development shows significant results, especially those related to worship, such as prayer, memorizing short verses, and others.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis program bimbingan agama bagi narapidana yang digunakan di Lapas Kelas II B Pangkalan Berandan Kabupaten Babalan. Sejauh mana hasil bimbingan spiritual tersebut dapat mempengaruhi kepribadian narapidana di Lapas Kelas II B Pangkalan Berandan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan bentuk deskripsi analitis. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode; 1) Observasi, 2) Wawancara, dan 3) Studi Dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat tiga program pengembangan yang dilaksanakan di Lapas Kelas II B Pangkalan Berandan kecamatan Babalan yaitu pengembangan spiritual, pengembangan kemandirian, dan pengembangan kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara. 2) Pelaksanaan bimbingan keagamaan bagi narapidana dilakukan oleh penasihat agama Islam (tetap) dan juga petugas penjara (sebagai pengganti dan pengawas narapidana). Pelaksanaan bimbingan yang dilakukan oleh Pembimbing Agama Islam menggunakan metode ceramah (tausiyah), tanya jawab, praktek, dan hafalan. 3) Implementasi pengembangan spiritual Islam menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan terutama yang berkaitan dengan ibadah, seperti shalat, hafalan ayat pendek, dan lain-lain.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of the diversity of religious practices carried out by coastal communities in the city of Medan, especially in the Medan Labuhan sub-district. The method used in this research is qualitative. The results of the research show that the Islamic community on the coast of Medan Labuhan seems to actively carry out religious activities both in their homes and in mosques. especially the five obligatory prayers. Apart from practicing the five prayers a day and night, the coastal Muslim community in Medan Labuhan is also active in carrying out other practices such as Yasinan and tahlilan, commemorating Islamic holidays such as commemorating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, commemorating the Israk and Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and also the celebration of Eid al-Fitr and Idhul Adha. The Medan Labuhan Muslim community also practices Ramadan worship, such as Ramadan fasting, Taraweeh prayers in congregation, reciting the Koran, paying Zakat Fitrah, all of which are practiced properly in accordance with the Koran and the Sunnah of the Prophet and the understanding of the Ahlusunnah wal Jama'ah school of thought. Apart from that, they also practice Islamic teachings regarding morals in being neighbors, morals in wrestling and morals in dressing, all of this is carried out and practiced in order to practice Islamic teachings to the maximum as proof of faith and piety towards Allah, to gain the approval of Allah SWT. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang keberagaman pengamalan agama yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat pesisir yang ada di kota Medan, khususnya di kecamatan Medan Labuhan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam masyarakat pesisir Medan Labuhan terlihat aktif melaksanakan kegiatan keagamaan baik di rumah-rumahnya maupun di masjid-masjid, terutama ibadah shalat wajib lima waktu. Selain mengamalkan shalat lima watu sehari semalam, masyarakat muslim pesisir di Medan Labuhan juga aktif melaksanakan amalan lain seperti Yasinan dan tahlilan, memperingati perayaan Hari besar Islam seperti peringatan Maualid Nabi Muhammad Saw, peringatan Israk dan Mikraj Nabi Muhammad SAW, dan juga perayaan Hari Raya Idul Fitri dan Hari Raya Idul Adha. Masyarakat Muslim Medan Labuhan juga mengamalkan ibadah Ramadhan, seperti puasa Ramadhan, Shalat Tarawih berjamaah, tadarusan Alquran, membayar Zakat Fitrah, semua diamalkan dengan baik sesuai Alquran dan Sunnah Rasulullah dan berpaham Mazhab Ahlusunnah wal Jama’ah. Selain itu mereka juga mengamalkan ajaran Islam tentang akhlak dalam bertetangga, akhlak dalam pergaulan dan akhlak dalam berpakaian, semua itu dilaksanakan dan diamalkan dalam rangka untuk mengamalkan ajaran Islam secara maksimal sebagai bukti Iman dan takwa kepada Allah dan juga guna mendapatkan ridho Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the character of leadership in Islamic education from the perspective of the Qur'an Surah Yusuf as an effort to set an example for children. This is based on the uswah exemplified by the Prophet Yusuf towards his followers with a reflection of noble character. This research belongs to the category of qualitative research with a literature study method. Research materials or data are sourced from interpretations and relevant scientific literature, then the data is analyzed by trying to describe leadership objectively about the interpretation of Surah Yusuf from the contents of the book Tafsir al-Munir by Wahbah az-Zuhaili and Tafsir Al-Azhar by H. Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah. (Hamka), then the researcher analyzed it in depth. Based on the results of literature research, the criteria for leaders in Islamic education QS Yusuf are honest, patient, love the homeland, fair, trustworthy, responsible, and knowledgeable. Based on this, it will be known how the leaders influence the people they lead. These influences include: influencing behavior that evokes emotions and strong identification of followers towards the leader, being able to easily mobilize elements of subordinate leadership to fully serve the interests of the community, leaders will be judged by the community as having extraordinary abilities and determining factors. so that state affairs will be easily resolved by being oriented towards dynamic change. Through this research, it was found the concept of efforts to give an example to children with uswah leadership of the prophet Yusuf a.s.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan tauhid bagi anak, urgensitas pendidikan tauhid, dan ‘ibrah yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur’an Surah Yusuf. Adapun metode ijmāli digunakan dalam mengungkap data penelitian, melalui upaya penafsiran al-Qur’an secara ringkas dan global. Sebagai instrumen kunci, peneliti menetapkan ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan tema penelitian, menghimpun ayat-ayat tersebut, serta mengutip penafsiran para mufassir tentang ayat yang telah dihimpun, hingga menyempurnakan pembahasan sesuai dengan rumusan masalah. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pertama, nilai pendidikan tauhid yang terkandung dalam al-Qur’an Surah Yusuf meliputi iman kepada Allah, iman kepada hari kiamat, tidak syirik (mempersekutukan Allah), dan sikap tawakkal kepada Allah swt. Kedua, nilai tersebut menerangkan tentang pentingnya penanaman nilai tauhid sejak dini kepada anak sebagai ejawantah ketakwaan pada Allah swt. Ketiga, adapun ‘ibrah yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini berupa jaminan kebahagiaan dan derajat tinggi dari Allah kepada hamba-Nya yang beriman, berilmu dan bertakwa.

Abstract

Penggunaan strategi yang tepat akan memudahkan seorang guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran kepada anak, serta mengembangkan kreativitas anak. Guru harus mempunyai berbagai strategi yang dapat memudahkan anak dalam memahami apa yang disampaikan guru. Sebab kreativitas anak harus dikembangkan sejak dini. Kreativitas adalah suatu proses yang menghasilkan sesuatu yang baru, baik itu ide, benda atau tatanan baru. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah dan Guru Kelas. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas siswa adalah belajar sambil bermain, memberikan kebebasan anak untuk bereksplorasi sendiri dan memberikan kebebasan anak untuk berimajinasi. 2) Dengan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan anak menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingkan sebelumnya. Tadinya mereka tidak bisa menyanyi namun pada akhirnya bisa, ada yang sudah pandai menari, menggambar dengan hasil lebih bagus dan lain sebagainya. Diharapkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan penelitian ini lebih lanjut apabila melakukan penelitian yang masih berkaitan dengan strategi guru dalam mengembangkan kreativitas pada anak usia dini. Kata kunci: Strategi Guru, Pengembangan Kreativitas, Anak Usia Dini. Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's efforts in developing Akidah Akhlak learning through the social project learning model in class IX of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al Washliyah Sei Lumut. This research uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The research informants were Akidah Akhlak teachers, students, and the local community. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies. The results showed that the teacher's effort to develop Akidah Akhlak learning was with the ‘Clean Friday’ activity. This activity has a huge impact and provides a positive commitment to building character and improving the quality of students. Through this effort, teachers have realized character building, improved interaction skills, and contributed to social activities in the community.Keywords: Teacher Efforts, Akidah Akhlak Learning, Social Project

Abstract

This study aims to find out what learning strategies for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers use in improving students' communication skills, the extent of the effectiveness of PAI learning strategies in improving students' communication skills, and how students respond to the use of PAI learning strategies used in improving students' communication skills. This research was conducted at Al-Hijrah IT Junior High School Deli Serdang, using a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The informants in this study consisted of 2 Islamic Religious Education teachers, school principals, curriculum representatives, and eight students. The data will be gathered through observations, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing of a conclusion. The results of this study show that the PAI learning strategy is used to improve students' communication skills by using a student-centered learning approach (Student Centered Learning) or a scientific approach, as well as presentation and discussion learning methods. The use of PAI learning strategies in improving students' communication skills from this study shows that the PAI learning strategies used are effective, which can be seen from students' responses to PAI learning strategies used in improving students' communication skills.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the biography of Muallim Al Khudri bin Khatib Shahih, analyze his role in the development of Islamic education in the City of Subulussalam, and analyze the implications of his contributions to Islamic education in the City of Subulussalam. The research method used is a qualitative method with a figure study approach, which is implemented through data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and analysis of the figure's life journey records. The results showed that Muallim Al Khudri, with an educational background in traditional Islamic boarding schools (dayah) and higher education, has a high dedication to advancing Islamic education in the City of Subulussalam. His role is reflected in the establishment of the Raudhatul Jannah Integrated Islamic Boarding School (ErJe) which implements an integrated Tarbiyatul Muallimin Al Islamiyah (TMI) curriculum, combining religious knowledge, general knowledge, and foreign language skills. He is also active in teaching at Islamic elementary schools (TPA), conducting religious studies, and preaching. The implications of his contributions include increasing the accessibility and quality of Islamic education, strengthening the character and morals of the community, and increasing religious awareness. This research provides a comprehensive picture of the contribution of Muallim Al Khudri in building Islamic education in the City of Subulussalam, as well as its implications for society.

Abstract

This study examines the contributions and role of Syekh Ismail Abdul Wahab in Islamic education in Tanjungbalai City. As a scholar and educator, he played a crucial role in establishing the Gubahan Islam educational institution and spreading Islamic values within the community. The aim of this study is to analyze Syekh Ismail’s intellectual journey, his contributions to Islamic education, and the challenges he faced in developing the Islamic education system. This research employs a historical method with a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies, interviews with educational figures, and historical document analysis. The findings indicate that Syekh Ismail Abdul Wahab was not only an educator but also a leader who advocated for education based on tauhid and ethics. Despite challenges from Dutch colonial rule and limited resources, he remained committed to building an Islamic education system that continues to have an impact today. This study underscores the significant role of Islamic scholars in the development of Islamic education and provides new insights into the contributions of local figures in the history of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Islamic counseling therapy to increase the happiness of broken home children in class X. The research approach used is quantitative, the type of research used is guidance and counseling (PTBK). The research instrument that researchers use to obtain the results of Islamic counseling therapy to increase the happiness of broken home children in students is by distributing questionnaires to research subjects, namely class X students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Jam'iyatul Wasliyah Medan Tembung. After getting the results of distributing the questionnaire to students, the researcher can proceed to the stage of applying the Islamic guidance and counseling model in the form of prayer therapy, and dhikr & al-Qur'an therapy to students who experience broken homes who are at a high category level which is called a group experiment. Based on the results of the researchers' findings that the school has implemented the same thing as will be researched and conducted research at the school, but this cannot run conducively and does not match the expectations of the school because of a lack of seriousness and still a lack of control from the teacher as well as from the students. Students at the Madrasah Aliyah Al-Jam'iyatul Wasliyah Tembung school follow the hours that have been set for the prayer schedule and they all follow it properly and regularly but when carrying out the Al-Qur'an reading process there are still some students who are not good at all reading the Qur'an and for dhikr they can do it smoothly and well. So it can be concluded that Islamic counseling therapy to increase the happiness of broken children can increase the happiness of broken home children in students.
