Abstract

Each type of soil possesses unique characteristics that influence various aspects of human life and activities, particularly in agriculture, construction, and ecology. Naturally, soil exhibits distinct colors that aid human interpretation in identifying soil types. However, these soil types are not widely known. Understanding soil types can facilitate better decision-making across various aspects of life and contribute to environmental conservation and natural resource management. Given the diversity of soil types with varying properties, tailored treatments for each type are essential. Therefore, soil classification is crucial for understanding effective soil management practices. The Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm excels in handling high-dimensional data, separating non-linear classes, and enhancing model accuracy and generalization, making it a robust choice for soil classification based on RGB (Red, Green, Blue) features. This research method involved collecting a personal dataset comprising various soil types, extracting RGB color features, and using first-order statistics for data representation. The results demonstrate that the optimized combination of RGB features and SVM achieved accurate and efficient soil classification with an accuracy of 88%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Meat is a crucial component in daily dietary intake due to its high protein content, which supports human intelligence and stamina. However, the similarity in color and texture among various types of meat often makes it difficult to distinguish between them. This can be exploited by unscrupulous meat vendors to substitute or mix meat types, leading to serious health implications. Meat types can be differentiated by observing the fibers and color of the meat. This research aims to address this issue by focusing on the differences in meat color and texture identified as potential solutions through digital image processing.One effective approach proposed is using the support vector machine (SVM) method with HSV feature extraction to distinguish between beef and horse meat. This study adopts SVM and HSV feature extraction in recognizing beef and horse meat types with a satisfactory accuracy rate of 93.3%. This indicates significant potential in accurately identifying meat types using this technology.

Abstract

Indonesian people are very dependent on bottled mineral water resources (gallons) and LPG gas for their daily needs. The dependence on these two resources provides a great opportunity for business people to sell gallons and LPG gas. Mu’afah shop is a basic food store that provides all household needs for daily use, one of the needs sold is gallons and lpg gas. Sales of gallons and lpg gas are erratic in this store, sometimes in a day the sales are very high but it can also be that in a day there is no single sale. This makes the seller unable to ensure the right time to restock goods. This research is qualitative using the weight moving average method with mu’afah shops as research material. Based on the test results using the Weighted Moving Average method, it shows that the method runs well as expected. This can be proven by the calculation of MAD of 1.195 (gallons) and 0.792 (gas), MSE of 0.72 (gallons) and 0.34 (gas), and MAPE of 37.08 (gallons) and 33.2 (gas). So that the accuracy of test results can also be considered quite good.

Abstract

This study aims to automatically classify rice field and oil palm land cover based on aerial imagery by utilizing the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) for texture feature extraction and the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm as the classification method. The dataset consists of 130 training images and 111 test images. The images were processed through cropping and grayscale conversion, followed by texture feature extraction including contrast, correlation, energy, and homogeneity. These features serve as the foundation for distinguishing the unique texture patterns of each land type. The test results show that the K parameter in KNN significantly affects the classification accuracy, with K=7 achieving the best result of 97.30%. Evaluation using a confusion matrix reinforces the effectiveness of the method in distinguishing the two land cover classes. The combination of GLCM and KNN proves to be both efficient and accurate, with great potential to be applied in automated mapping and monitoring systems, particularly in agricultural and plantation contexts.

Abstract

Abstrak -Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mendorong berbagai industri, termasuk pengolahan makanan, untuk beralih ke sistem digital dalam mengelola data. PT. Starfood International menghadapi sejumlah kendala pada pencatatan manual, seperti duplikasi informasi, kehilangan data, dan lambatnya akses. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan serta pengembangan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi untuk mencatat hasil laboratorium dan proses produksi menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model waterfall. Metode ini melibatkan tahapan seperti analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, hingga pemeliharaan. Sistem yang dihasilkan dirancang untuk mempercepat pencatatan, menyediakan data secara real-time, memantau riwayat proses, serta memastikan kesesuaian dengan standar kualitas. Prototipe yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat meminimalkan kesalahan manual, meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Penelitian ini juga menjadi langkah penting dalam mendukung modernisasi di industri pengolahan makanan.Kata kunci: Sistem Infomasi, SDLC Waterfall , Perancangan Sistem Abstract - Advances in information technology have driven various industries, including food processing, to adopt digital systems for data management. PT. Starfood International faces several challenges in manual recording, such as data duplication, information loss, and delayed access. This study focuses on the design and development of an integrated information system to record laboratory results and production processes using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model. This method involves stages such as requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The resulting system is designed to streamline recording processes, provide real-time data access, monitor process histories, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The developed prototype is expected to minimize manual errors, enhance work efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. This research also serves as an important step in promoting modernization within the food processing industry.Keywords: Information System, SDLC Waterfall, System Design.

Abstract

Business management management cannot be avoided from risks in the form of pure risks and speculative risks. Risk can be associated with the possibility of losses from unwanted adverse events or unexpected events. The problem of MSMEs, especially in Sidayu District, Gresik Regency, is that many MSME actors have not implemented risk management in their businesses. Therefore, this community service activity is carried out to provide education to Sidayu MSME actors to pay attention to the risks that exist in the process of managing their business. From the results of community service activities, they can implement risk management and improve risk management management in their businesses. With the implementation and improvement, it can be used as a means to improve business management and income.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi, khususnya di bidang desain grafis, sangat bermanfaat bagi kemajuan organisasi. Dengan menggunakan perangkat desain grafis, seseorang dapat mempelajari cara mengomunikasikan informasi atau pesan secara grafis menggunakan media teks atau gambar. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan oleh dosen Program Studi Teknik Informatika yang juga sebagai Kader dan Pengurus Aisyiyah Kabupaten Gresik. Sehingga dengan menggunakan fasilitas Gedung Pusat Layanan Terpadu ‘Aisyiyah Kabupaten Gresik, tim PKM melaksanakan pelatihan desain grafis dan video editing dengan aplikasi Canva dan CapCut untuk Seluruh Pengurus Aisyiyah baik ranting maupun cabang se-Kabupaten Gresik. Hal itu bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi, keterampilan dan inovasi digital dalam penggunaan Teknologi Informasi untuk pengelolaan organisasi supaya bias lebih maju, efektif, dan efisien. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan materi diskusi yaitu: Canva dan CapCut. Luaran keberhasilan pelatihan ini berupa tugas pembuatan desain dan video dan untuk menyatakan kelulusan ada parameter penilaian yaitu desain secara umum, desain visual, dan kesesuaian isi konten. Pelatihan yang diselenggarakan bisa membuat pengurus aisyiyah se-Kabupaten Gresik menjadi lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengelola organisasi serta terjalin hubungan baik antara Pengurus Aisyiyah Daerah (PDA) Gresik dengan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik khususnya Fakultas Teknik, Program Studi Teknik Informatika.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) merupakan aspek penting dalam industri manufaktur, khususnya sektor baja yang memiliki tingkat risiko tinggi terhadap kecelakaan dan gangguan kesehatan akibat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi risiko ergonomi dan biomekanik pada pekerja divisi penataan dan pengelasan baja di PT XYZ dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) dan Job Strain Index (JSI). Metode RULA digunakan untuk menilai risiko postur tubuh bagian atas, sedangkan JSI mengevaluasi ketegangan kerja pada lengan dan pergelangan tangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi visual, wawancara, serta pengukuran frekuensi kerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan sebagian besar pekerja berada pada kategori risiko tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, terutama operator pengangkatan baja dan pekerja pengecoran, dengan skor RULA mencapai 7 dan JSI lebih dari 300. Intervensi ergonomi berupa perbaikan desain meja-kursi, penggunaan alat bantu pengangkatan, serta pelatihan postur kerja terbukti menurunkan skor risiko secara signifikan. Rata-rata skor RULA menurun dari 6 menjadi 3–4, sedangkan JSI turun kurang lebih 40 poin setelah intervensi. Uji validitas instrumen menunjukkan hasil yang reliabel, dan uji statistik menegaskan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari perbaikan yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi analisis ergonomi dalam sistem manajemen K3 guna meningkatkan keselamatan, produktivitas, dan kesejahteraan pekerja secara berkelanjutan khususnya dibidang besi dan baja.

Abstract

The manual archiving process within the Gresik Education Office continues to encounter significant challenges, including difficulties in correspondence tracking, document misplacement, and inefficiencies in disposition management. To address these issues, this study proposes the design and implementation of a Web-Based Archiving and Correspondence Monitoring System developed using the Waterfall methodology. The system aims to facilitate the digital transformation of administrative correspondence through three primary pillars: secure user authentication, flexible digital workflows, and compliance with electronic archival standards. Core features include centralized document management, automated disposition processes, electronic signature verification, and real-time notification integration via WhatsApp. Implementation results demonstrate that the proposed system enhances efficiency, traceability, and accountability in correspondence management at the Gresik Education Office.

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, transformasi teknologi telah merambah hampir seluruh aspek kehidupan. Namun, PT Sumber Aiti Teknologi masih menerapkan pencatatan data pelanggan dan transaksi pembayaran secara manual. Sistem manual ini berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakefisienan serta meningkatkan risiko terjadinya kesalahan. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut, sekaligus mendorong transformasi digital yang lebih luas di lingkungan operasional perusahaan, khususnya dalam mendukung pencatatan data pelanggan dan pelaksanaan transaksi layanan secara lebih akurat dan efisien. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Setelah sistem informasi berbasis web ini dirancang dan melalui proses uji coba, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat mempermudah proses input data dan pelaksanaan transaksi pembayaran di PT Sumber Aiti Teknologi.
