This study aims to gain an understanding of how the division of labour is based on gender, including the social, cultural, and economic dynamics thah influence the division of labour. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using primary data sources obtained directly from interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs); and secondary data sources include supporting data in the form of previous research reports and relevant literature. The data analysis technique used in this research is inductive analysis, by analyzing facts or things that are specific or concrete events then generate a conclusion. The results of this study show that the division of labor in tobacco businesses in Lombok reflects a combination of biological (nature) and socio-cultural (nurture) factors. Social norms put men in charge and women in charge, but both play an important role in maintaining the quality and sustainability of production. Despite wage differentials, women's contributions remain crucial to the success of the business

Abstract

Leadership is an important key in running an organization, especially political parties, it takes a capable and qualified leader to lead. History in Indonesia records that only a few political parties carry women as their general chairmen, one of the parties that carry women's general chairman is PSI. PSI appointed Grace Natalie as chairman. The low role of women in politics is the focus of Grace Natalie's leadership at PSI, in addition to focusing on young people and across religions. This research uses library research, namely collecting data by understanding and studying sources from various literature related to the research. Grace Natalie as a leader tries to lead PSI with two types of leadership, namely transformative and feminine leadership types. This type of transformative leadership is seen in the innovation and vision carried out by Grace Natalie, namely by showing a millennial face with millennial-style greetings, ways of dressing, and jokes and recruiting candidates transparently and without dowries directly through social media. Feminism leadership is seen in PSI's focus on the role and representation of women in the world of politics and providing special facilities for women in the PSI office.

Abstract

The Bugis character trait of siri' napecce siri' is the ability to empathise with the pain or suffering of others within the community.  An example of this trait is seen in the Bugis marriage culture, which is not only practiced in Makassar or among Bugis communities in South Sulawesi (its place of origin), but also among almost all Bugis communities throughout the islands. This study focuses on the Bugis community residing along the East Coast of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency in Jambi Province and the coastal areas of Indragiri Hilir Regency in Riau Province, both located on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. The study examines the continued practice of the Uang Panai tradition in Bugis wedding ceremonies in the coastal region that connects the two provinces. The research method used was qualitative, employing observation and interviews, as well as secondary data through literature review. In terms of the origin of uang panai', it differs greatly from its initial form as a form of appreciation for women, transforming into a spending currency that has turned it into a capitalist economic concept wrapped in the siri' culture. The results lead to gender inequality, where Bugis women must increase their value to be considered worthy of a high bride price. Additionally, Men must prepare themselves to become actors who will be pressured to be economically capable, as the amount of dowry determined by the woman's family is an absolute requirement that must be fulfilled in Bugis society's marriage tradition to preserve the culture of Siri' (shame).

Abstract

Humans are social creatures who live side by side. Society consists of individuals with diverse characters and visions of life. The diversity of character and vision of each individual makes it vulnerable to create conflict. Therefore, these individuals create groups in order to survive in social life. A group generally has the same vision or views regarding various problems, both formal and material. The aim is to strengthen ties between one another, thereby creating harmony within the group. However, on the other hand, the formation of a group indicates that there is another group which had fewer members, would become a minority. People with long hair are an example of a minority in Suntalangu, East Lombok Regency. The community group in this hamlet really adheres to the values taught in the Islamic religion in implementing them in social life. However, in practice, these community groups often have a narrow view, thereby eliminating the values of inclusiveness in viewing a problem. This research is qualitative with a case study approach. This research aims to determine the role of religion in creating societal stereotypes of men with long hair in Suntalangu, East Lombok Regency. By knowing the role of religion in creating societal stereotypes, it is hoped that we can increase inclusiveness between individuals in social life.
