Abstract

Perundungan dapat terjadi diantara peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah, peserta didik melakukan tindak perundungan karena lingkungan pertemanan yang kurang sehat dan kontrol diri yang kurang baik, project-based learning merupakan suatu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk memberikan pencegahan terhadap adanya tindak perundungan yang berorientasi kepada proyek. Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mencegah tindak perundungan melalui penguatan kontrol diri yang dikemas melalui project-based learning. Hasil dari penyelenggaraan pengabdian masyarakat di SMP Negeri 1 Karangploso adalah produk yang dijadikan media dalam membangun iklim sekolah bebas perundungan dan perwakilan duta anti-perundungan

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the application of transactional analysis group counseling in the world of education. Literature review is the method used in this writing. The implementation of Transactional Analysis counseling has been implemented in schools from the elementary school to the tertiary level. In implementing the Transactional Analysis approach, it can be used for individual counseling, but it is more appropriate if it is carried out in group counseling. The basic concepts of Transactional Analysis include Injunction, Stroke, Life Script, Ego State, Life Position, Games and Redecesions. In Transactional Analysis counseling, individuals are said to be healthy and win when they are in the position of I'm OK, you're OK. There are 3 stages of transactional analysis in group counseling, namely the first is the initial stage, the second is the work stage, and the third is the final stage.

Abstract

Preparing for a future career is an important task for adolescents. Technological changes and the pandemic have made many adolescents experience career indecision. Career planning based on local wisdom values is intended to assist adolescents in making appropriate career decisions. This research uses the narrative review method by searching literature from 2014 to 2022 from sources ScienceDirect, SagePub, and Google Scholar. The results of the analysis show that there are local wisdom values that can be integrated into adolescent career planning such as religious, responsibility, hard work/ tenacity, and self-understanding.

Abstract

This study focuses on the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) among adolescents, particularly in vocational high schools (SMK), which refers to the anxiety caused by the fear of missing out on information or trending events. The problem addressed in this research is how the phenomenon of FoMO affects the psychological well-being of adolescents in SMK. The aim of this study is to analyze the level of FoMO among SMK students and provide recommendations for interventions that can reduce its negative impact. The research method used is a survey design involving 203 students as the sample. Data were collected through the distribution of a questionnaire containing 10 questions designed to measure the level of FoMO. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to determine the distribution of FoMO levels among respondents. The main findings of the study show that the majority of students (63%) fall into the moderate category of FoMO, while 25% of students are in the low category and 12% fall into the high category. These findings indicate that although most students show a moderate level of FoMO, special attention needs to be given to students with high FoMO levels to prevent negative psychological impacts. The conclusion of this study is that it is crucial for educators and school counselors to design interventions that can reduce the anxiety caused by FoMO.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku panduan berbasis Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) guna mendukung penyesuaian diri mahasiswa PPL 1 terhadap lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan desain pengembangan ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahap: analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan ahli materi, ahli media, dan mahasiswa calon pengguna. Hasil uji validasi menunjukkan buku panduan sangat layak dengan rata-rata skor 3,8 (ahli materi), 3,95 (ahli media), dan indeks validitas ahli calon pengguna sebesar 1,00 pada semua aspek (ketepatan, kegunaan, kemudahan, dan kemenarikan). Buku panduan ini dinilai efektif untuk membantu mahasiswa PPL dalam mengelola emosi, membangun hubungan sosial, dan menghadapi tantangan di lapangan. Disarankan adanya evaluasi berkala untuk penyempurnaan buku panduan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the relationship between financial stress and mental health, focusing on adaptation mechanisms and the socio-cultural factors influencing resilience. It also identifies key research trends, emerging themes, and global collaborations. Method – A bibliometric analysis was conducted on 488 articles from the Scopus database (2019–2024). The study employed multiple linear regression and path analysis to assess the effects of financial stress on mental health, with socio-cultural factors as an intervening variable. A sample of 100 individuals was selected using a simple random sampling method. Data analysis was performed using R software and the Biblioshiny application, incorporating keyword analysis, research collaboration mapping, and thematic classification. Result – The findings indicate a significant increase in research on financial stress, mental health, and coping strategies. Cross-country collaborations have strengthened, particularly among the United States, the United Kingdom, and China. Emerging topics such as financial resilience and adaptive strategies are gaining attention. The study highlights the complex relationship between financial stress and mental well-being, influenced by economic conditions and social support systems. Implication – The study suggests integrating financial and psychological interventions to enhance coping mechanisms and improve societal well-being, offering insights for policymakers. Originality/Value – This research is the first to incorporate socio-cultural factors as an intervening variable, providing a comprehensive framework for understanding financial stress and mental health. *** Tujuan – Studi ini mengkaji hubungan antara stres keuangan dan kesehatan mental, dengan fokus pada mekanisme adaptasi dan faktor-faktor sosio-budaya yang memengaruhi ketahanan. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi tren penelitian utama, tema-tema yang muncul, dan kolaborasi global. Metode – Analisis bibliometrik dilakukan pada 488 artikel dari basis data Scopus (2019–2024). Studi ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan analisis jalur untuk menilai dampak stres keuangan terhadap kesehatan mental, dengan faktor sosio-budaya sebagai variabel perantara. Sebuah sampel terdiri dari 100 individu dipilih menggunakan metode sampling acak sederhana. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak R dan aplikasi Biblioshiny, yang mencakup analisis kata kunci, pemetaan kolaborasi penelitian, dan klasifikasi tematik. Hasil – Temuan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penelitian tentang stres keuangan, kesehatan mental, dan strategi koping. Kolaborasi antar negara semakin kuat, terutama antara Amerika Serikat, Inggris, dan China. Topik-topik baru seperti ketahanan keuangan dan strategi adaptif mulai mendapat perhatian. Studi ini menyoroti hubungan kompleks antara stres keuangan dan kesejahteraan mental, yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi ekonomi dan sistem dukungan sosial. Implikasi – Studi ini menyarankan integrasi intervensi keuangan dan psikologis untuk meningkatkan mekanisme penanggulangan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, memberikan wawasan bagi pembuat kebijakan. Orisinalitas/Nilai – Penelitian ini merupakan yang pertama kali memasukkan faktor sosio-budaya sebagai variabel perantara, menyediakan kerangka kerja komprehensif untuk memahami stres keuangan dan kesehatan mental.

The Inadequacy Evaluation Model Analysis shows several significant gaps between expected standards and the actual implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools. These include incomplete needs assessments, unplanned service topics, limited time allocation for service delivery, an imbalance in the counselor-to-student ratio, inadequate counseling room facilities, unstructured service evaluations, the absence of formal evaluation reports, and counselors being assigned additional roles outside their core responsibilities. These findings highlight the urgent need for systemic improvements, including better planning, resource allocation, role clarification, and institutional support to enhance the effectiveness of guidance and counseling programs in schools. Abstract

In this age, digital technology has become integral to various aspects of life, including education and counselling services. In this context, guidance and counselling services require innovation in both methods and media to address the challenges and needs of the digital generation. This study aims to develop content for the BKONLINE platform as an innovative approach in the digital era. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which aims to produce a product that meets quality standards and user needs. The research stages include needs analysis, platform design, content development, implementation, and evaluation by experts and prospective users. The study participants consist of guidance and counselling experts, educational technology media specialists, and students as potential users of the product. Validation results indicate that the developed product meets acceptance criteria from both expert and user perspectives. The BKONLINE platform is expected to enhance the accessibility, effectiveness, and personalization of guidance and counselling services, supporting students’ personal, academic, social, and career development.

Abstract

Student well-being is a crucial factor influencing academic engagement, psychological adjustment, and overall success in higher education, particularly during the first year of study when students face significant academic and social transitions. First-year students often experience challenges such as adapting to new learning environments, managing academic demands, and building social connections, which can affect their psychological well-being. This study aims to analyze and explore the level of well-being among first-year students in the Guidance and Counseling program. Using a survey design, the research involved 188 active first-year students selected from five student cohorts. Data were collected through an online questionnaire consisting of 18 items measured on a 4-point Likert scale, and analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that 77% of students fall within the moderate category of well-being, 20% in the high category, and 3% in the low category. Conceptually, these findings suggest that the majority of students maintain an adequate level of psychological well-being, yet there remains a considerable proportion requiring targeted support. The study concludes that enhancing responsive self-development programs is essential to strengthen the psychological well-being of first-year students during their academic transition.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Hubungan percintaan pada remaja saat ini cukup mengkhawatirkan. Maraknya kekerasan seksual berdampak paa berbagai aspek, salah satunya terkait harga diri. Rendahnya harga diri dapat menimbulkan permasalahan mental seperti depresi, kecemasan, dan permasalahan dalam pembelajaran. Dalam pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kembali harga diri dan hubungan sehat remaja di SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon melalui strategi Problem Based Learning (PBL) serta siswa dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan serta menerapkan hubungan sehat remaja. Metode yang akan digunakan meliputi: 1) delegasi dari masing-masing kelas yang akan dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok kecil; 2) sosialisasi, hal tersebut memiliki kaitan dengan penyampaian materi mengenai studi kasus perilaku toxic love; 3) analisis kasus, kasus yang diberikan berkaitan dengan perilaku hubungan tidak sehat (toxic love) dan bagaimana siswa tersebut mampu mengatasi kasus menggunakan langkah-langkah problem based learning dibagi dalam kelompok kecil; dan 4) penutup. Mitra sasaran dalam pengabdian ini SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon Malang dengan jumlah peserta 35 siswa pada semua jenjang.  Hasil yang dicapai secara keseluruhan siswa dapat memahami materi yang telah disampaikan dan siswa dapat memecahkan masalah dengan menjawab persoalan dari kasus yang diberikan sera mampu mempresentasikan hasil analisis kasusnya dengan baik. Kata kunci: toxic love; hubungan sehat; problem based learning ABSTRACTRomantic relationships among teenagers today are quite worrying. The rise of sexual violence has an impact on various aspects, one of which is related to self-esteem. Low self-esteem can lead to mental problems such as depression, anxiety, and problems in learning. In this community service, the aim is to restore self-esteem and healthy relationships for teenagers at SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy and students can increase their knowledge and implement healthy relationships for teenagers. The methods that will be used include: 1) delegations from each class will be divided into several small groups; 2) socialization, this is related to the delivery of material regarding case studies of toxic love behavior; 3) case analysis, the cases given are related to unhealthy relationship behavior (toxic love) and how the students are able to overcome the case using problem-based learning steps divided into small groups; and 4) closing. The target partner in this community service is SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon Malang with a total of 35 students at all levels. The results achieved overall students can understand the material that has been presented and students can solve problems by answering questions from the cases given and are able to present the results of their case analysis well. Keywords: toxic love; healthy relationship; problem based learning
