Abstract

Accommodative learning needs to be implemented in schools that have students with disabilities. Teachers at Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah currently lack adequate knowledge and skills in applying accommodative learning strategies. This condition arises due to the absence of specialized programs for enhancing teachers' competencies in accommodative learning and the lack of dissemination of inclusive education guidelines. Therefore, this community service program aims to improve teachers' understanding and skills in accommodative learning while also promoting the guidelines for implementing inclusive education. The program was conducted through offline training sessions using lecture, discussion, and case study methods. The training results indicate an improvement in teachers' understanding and skills, as evidenced by a 35-point increase in post-test scores compared to the pre-test. Evaluation results also show high satisfaction with the training materials, with over 70% of teachers reporting being very satisfied. Furthermore, speaker evaluation results indicate that over 80% of teachers were highly satisfied with the speaker's performance. Nevertheless, follow-up programs are still necessary to ensure that teachers retain and apply the acquired knowledge effectively. Keywords: accommodative learning, inclusive education, teachers

Abstract

Kerjasama stake holder, merupakan kebutuhan perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan mutu Tri Dharma. Kemitraan dalam negeri dan luar negeri, merupakan indikator kualitas perguruan tinggi secara nasional maupun internasional. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan problematika kerjasama Perguruan Tinggi, solusi yang ditempuh Perguruan Tinggi dalam menguatkan kerjasama dalam masa pandemi covid 19 dan penguatan kerjasama Perguruan Tinggi pasca Pandemi Covid 19. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain strategi inqury. Hasil dari penelitian ini dalam memetakan problematika kerjasama yaitu 1) terbatasnya tatap muka secara langsung 2) terbatasnya kegiatan kerjasama internasional 3) tervariasinya standar operasional prosedur kerjasama antar lembaga. Solusi yang ditempuh 1) menguatkan kerjasama dalam masa pandemic 2) menerapkan prosedur daring 3) melakukan perencanaan yang matang 4) keterampilan menguasai IT. Pola penguatan kerjasama 1) faktor motivasi kerjasama 2) Pergeseran nilai etika 3) Cara inovatif untuk kerjasama. Kesimpulannya bahwa tetap terjalin proses kerjasama perguruan tinggi namun dilakukan dengan daring dan perencanaan yang matang.

Abstract

This research discusses the exploration of perspectives on the impact of using Unity 2D digital media in increasing the motivation of deaf learners. Starting with the communication and accessibility challenges of learners, the use of Unity 2D digital media is believed to be an effective tool to increase learners' participation and enthusiasm. With interactive features and eye-catching visualizations, Unity 2D can create a learning atmosphere that is fun, immersive, and beneficial to learners' understanding. This research applies a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews to explore teachers' views on the use of Unity 2D digital media in an effort to increase students' learning motivation. The research report illustrates that teachers' perspectives on the use of Unity 2D digital media have a positive impact towards empowering the learning motivation of students with hearing disabilities. The learning process is delivered in a visualized manner with an interactive and educational display that has an impact on increasing students' learning motivation. As an evaluation material for learning improvement, teachers are encouraged to participate in various online or offline activities related to strengthening digital literacy competencies.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important aspects in building Indonesia's golden generation. Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy, with its concepts of Tri No and Tri Nga, provides a strong foundation for emphasizing the importance of developing a complete Indonesian generation that is cultured, civilized, and of superior quality. This article aims to analyze the role of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophy as the foundation of education in creating Indonesia's golden generation. These concepts will be explained in the context of the Second Principle of Pancasila (Just and Civilized Humanity), which emphasizes the importance of creating diversity awareness and a sense of togetherness. This study uses a literature review approach to explore a deeper understanding of Ki Hajar Dewantara's contribution to education in Indonesia. The combination of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophies results in three important stages in shaping the foundation and character of children's education. Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga educational philosophies are an important foundation for the formation of individuals with character, morals, and the ability to live harmoniously in a diverse society, which is the core of the Second Principle of Pancasila. This philosophy promotes learning that not only enhances academic intelligence but also character development.

Abstract

Teachers in inclusive education units do not sufficiently possess the competencies to provide learning services for students with special needs. Therefore, short courses for teachers in inclusive education schools are highly necessary, particularly at Labschool UNESA. Special education teachers at Labschool UNESA lack adequate knowledge and skills in implementing individual education programs for students with special needs. Thus, specialized training is required, focusing on the topic of individual education programs, particularly in the areas of identification and assessment. The training was conducted in person through lectures, Q&A sessions, and case studies. The training proceeded smoothly, attended by forty teachers over two phases. The results of the training indicate an increase in teacher competence, marked by improved final test scores compared to initial test results. Furthermore, the satisfaction evaluation regarding the materials and facilitators also revealed a high level of satisfaction among participants. These results indicate that the training process went as planned. Further training is needed to enhance the competencies that the teachers have already acquired.   Keywords:  Teacher Competency, Individual Education Plan, Inclusive Schools

Abstract

The government has officially announced that the new capital city will be located in the province of East Kalimantan and will have a different infrastructure from the rest of Indonesia. This new region will apply digital technology that triggers the maritime industry to switch from traditional to digital processes as a consequence of development with the concept of smart city and smart mobility. This study aims to select and determine existing ports that meet the requirements to be developed to support development in the national capital region based on the concept of a smart city, smart mobility, as well as innovations that can be made to accelerate its development. In the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the research was conducted online, using descriptive and qualitative methods. The results showed that the Semayang port and the Kaltim Kariangau Terminal (KKT) port were the selected ports, as well as other potential ports such as the Kampung Baru Tengah port and the Penajam Passer port. The two ports need to be developed towards a smart port that prioritizes efficiency and utilization of digital-based information system technology.

Abstract

Panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning  sebagai sarana pengembangan panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan spesifikasi Produk panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning dengan : (1) menguji kevalidan atau kelayakan produk panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning, (2) dan kepraktisan produk panduan parenting self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning. Dalam penelitian ini, bila ditinjau dari tahapan penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R & D)  dengan mengadaptasi  model 4D yaitu define, desighn, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahapan define, design, dan develop. dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuisioner, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan penghitungan skor rata-rata. Uji validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji validitas ahli media menyimpulkan bahwa produk memperoleh 100% berada pada kategori sangat layak. Sedangkan, uji validitas materi memperoleh 88% berada pada kategori sangat layak.  Hasil uji kepraktisan dari 4 responden mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 87% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning layak dan mudah digunakan oleh orang tua. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of employee training and Islamic leadership on employee performance, by utilizing the intervening variable of employee job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative methodology and is causal associative. It is known that this study involved 84 employees as a sample. Proper and trustworthy questionnaires are used to collect data. Multiple linear regression analysis techniques were used to analyze the data. The results of the study show that: Employee performance increases significantly due to the positive and significant influence caused by employee training, Islamic leadership and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction mediates a statistically significant relationship between training, Islamic leadership and performance. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hemodialisa atau cuci darah adalah intervensi yang biasa digunakan untuk terapi bagi pasien dengan gagal ginjal kronis. Walaupun, hemodialisa merupakan prosedur yang aman, tetapi prosedur ini memiliki beberapa efek samping salah satunya adalah muncul rasa mual. Mual yang muncul akibat mengikuti prosedur hemodialisa berdampak pada penurunan nafsu makan, penurunan berat badan, dan menyebabkan muntah yang akan menyebabkan dehidrasi serta ketidakseimbangan cairan dan elektrolit. Aromaterapi sebagai terapi non-farmakologis memiliki efek menenangkan sehingga dipercaya dapat menurunkan mual.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek dari pemberian aromaterapi pada pasien CKD dengan keluhan mual saat melakukan hemodialisaMethods: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus pada satu pasien gagal ginjal kronis yang sedang menjalani prosedur hemodialisa yang memiliki keluhan mual, kemudian dilakukan pemberian intervensi mengikuti jadwal hemodialisa pasien. Skala intensitas mual diukur menggunakan Nausea Severity Scale (NSS).Results: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan skala intensitas mual setiap setelah dilakukan pemberian aromaterapi.Conclusion: Maka peneliti menyarankan penggunaan aromaterapi lavender sebagai terapi non-farmakologis pada pasien dengan keluhan mual yang sedang menjalani prosedur hemodialisa di praktik klinis, baik diberikan oleh petugas kesehatan terutama perawat atau sebagai terapi mandiri bagi pasien karena aromaterapi termasuk terapi yang murah dan mudah dicari di Indonesia.
